ust saw the episode
If I didn't know the original story, then I would have given 10/10 for execution, direction and acting but because of the major distortions, I would have to deduct some serious points here.
The positives today:
1. Drona's advise: Never forgive adharm and we know Drona himself followed that mantra (Drupad's case). Little does Drona know thatYudi will ultimately be responsible for his demise and that too by using adharm
2. Bheeshma was very vocal today: It's nice to see him set the rules but of course, Shakuni managed to find loopholes in each and every rule Bheeshma had set. Only if Krishna was there...he would have matched the prapanch for prapanch
3. The sinister feeling is building up
The negatives (for me)
1. Is Karna just a bodyguard now? They have made Karna very uni dimensional when it comes to his relationship with Duryodhan. Now I really doubt he will say anything against Draupadi
2. The emphasis on disrobing Draupadi and making her a daasi even before the game started. Major major distortion and me don't like it
3. So, they won't even show Draupadi in her chambers because she was having her periods. No wonder, she is decked up in jewelry etc when Dushy drags her.
4. Since when did Nakul become a trouble maker for the Kauravs?
All in all, I'm still looking forward to the dice game and after effects. I just want them to do justice to Draupadi's monologue in the sabha. I hope they don't distort that.
