Agree with Myth and Gauri... Abuse of power is sickening no matter who uses it.. When used by women it does more damage because women are so believable and people just assume the her story to be true...

I remember the movie Disclosure with Demi More and Mike Douglas where she accused him of sexual harrasment after ONS for personal gains and how she eventualy got caught but not before damage as done to his family.

On a serious note...I agree with you Mythili ji. But insecurity won't be the word for that....I think now a days, some men are facing reverse discrimination....based on gender. Their are some women who blackmail them to get their way. Due to society's perception of male being the hunter all these years.....it is, at times, difficult for people to digest that the hunter is bein hunted by some of the warp minded preys 😉

On top of that, some perverts have also become equal opportunity abusers 😛 ....😆 .....sorry, don't mean to be disrespectful but can't help thinking about two of the recent debates....the social murders..and the gender bias....both have some very creative excuses presented by men for defending what most of them have been doing all along....and then you put us women on defense with this thread 😆 😆

Okay....back to topic...People in power, be it male or females, should refrain from using their power to create an environment that is uncomfortable for people around them. Seriously, I am against any kind of abuse or opression against any gender....period.

Again, IMO, insecurity would be individual feeling based on sircumstances / nature.
Men with high self esteem, material success, economic stability, popularity are not insecure. I think it is the same for women in most cases, but there are exceptions.

That's not true!! The above qualities you mentioned may become the bane to those people!! Sometimes high success,high popularity of others may be brought down by others by mean allegations!!

If some allegations of sexual abuse are made on men particularly by women ,intially world beleive the allegations without verifying the actual thing!!The family of the person really feels bad situation!!

Once in father's bank there was strict regional manager and he used to be very strict in work ,so one lady put this case on him as he complained higher authorities about the improper work of this lady,she even complained to the Women welfare organizations and these organizations overreacted and defamed that regional manager!! We had oppurtunity to see the problems faced by the regional family because of the false allegations!!

Ofcourse these type of cases are rarest of rare but they happen now and then with successful people!!

hey, we all can just stop breathing someday, and we all know that, but that doesn;t make us insecure. 😊

I am not talking about that since I don;t see a link with security here. Sometimes, both men and women are at fault. Sometimes, the rape is one-sided (man / woman victim)

Well, every system is misused by both men and women. Again, I don't see why a man would feel insecure about it. It it were so scary, then men would not have done day job and all would have sat at home. Being CAUTIOUS, AWARE, CAREFUL and being INSECURE--> not the same. Just my opinion.

That ususally doesn't make them insecure though. They all go back to work again usually, don;t they?

I know. Some people become so obssessive that they scare off other members in virtual world. Men or women should know the limits in real as well as virtual world.
