Yay! I just came to know abt vik's movie. Awesome news it is. I'm really happy for him. He clearly deserves better than QH. I'm glad that ppl started seeing the true talent in him. Imagine if ketki was in that movie too Lol. I'm waiting to see him on screen again

I'm watching 'jaane tu ya jaane na' hug scene. It was really a very beautiful and a damn tight hug.Such a chemistry!Vikrant is a very good hugger lol😆 I think ketki's bones would hv been broken under his tight hold😆 These two petite figures really make a perfect pair❤️ I really wonder how can anyone possibly don't like them! oh God! I'm falling in love with them again❤️

Remember the tall, lanky and handsome Vikrant Massey who charmed aficionados as Devdas in Lootera? Well, for all those waiting to see him again on the silver screen, here is some good news. Our sources from within the industry confirmed that Vikrant has been signed on by Zoya Akhtar for her next film Dil Dhadakne Do starring Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma in the lead.

Vikrant, who is extremely popular on the small screen and commands a massive fan following, will be seen essaying an important role in the movie although sources say that details regarding the nature of his role have not been sketched out yet.

For Vikrant, this will be a second outing with Ranveer Singh after Lootera. It is believed that the actor is now focusing on his film career after quitting popular soap Qubool Hai (Zee TV).

It is believed that the movie will go on floors from May this year. Despite repeated attempts, Vikrant remained unavailable for comment. We even left him a text but to no avail.

Vikrant Massey who had dropped out of Gul Khan's show, Qubool Hai in October 2013 to give his Bollywood career a serious leg up, might have got lucky. According to buzz, he's landed a meaty role in Zoya Akhtar's next film starring Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh slated to go on floors this year.
Vikrant who had been hosting the episodic Yeh Hai Aashiqui (UTV Bindass) for three months stepped into Rishabh Sinha's role as Ayaan Khan in Qubool Hai and worked in that show from March 2013 to late October before taking a 'break' to pursue his Bollywood career. Vikrant incidentally had made his debut in Bollywood in Vikramaditya Motwane's Looteraalso starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha and was appreciated for his short role. Vikrant who's done TV shows, Balika Vadhu, Dharam Veer and Baba Aise Vaar Dhoondo in the past before landing Qubool Hai, was also expected to make an entry in Qubool Haisometime in March 2014, because the channel and production house felt his presence would add a twist to the storyline. Even Vikrant had expressed his willingness to do the same.
