Today 's highlight was that both Jyoti and Shlok seem to have come to a decision.
Jyoti's decision to not go the suicide route and give birth to the baby girl no matter what difficulties...was much more emphatically shown and explained.
Shlok's decision to give his life, his marriage and his dreams with Astha a chance, he took that decision by making the paper plane out of court orders, Shloke style...
His decision was less emphatic, it was something he knows already...that he does not want to divorce Astha. And we also knew Jyoti wanted the girl baby. But despair gives rise to depression and hopelessness leading to suicide thoughts that Jyoti had..it took a while for her to come out of it.
Similarly Shlok was also hanging on the precipice...between hope for a good life with Astha...or a hopeless life without AStha..for her own best interests..to keep her away from NA and other cobwebs.
Keeping up with the theory that Shlok always loved AStha from the beginning , but distanced himself to protect her and to keep her safe from some troublesome plans in agni family, I felt he was leaning towards letting AStha go...but he has come out of that despair and he made the decision today by rubbishing he court order.
The reason he took time to make the decision was because he needs to know AStha loyalty and understanding of him...he has to come clean to her at some point regarding the why of things he has been doing..and he needs AStha's love and trust , complete. He has been seeing that in her now...her staunch will to love him inspite of his gruffness.
By the end of this 7 days, jyoti's story and AStha's story will take their turns for good.
Astha may still separate herself, with or without court consent...there is no law out there that married husband wife have to stay together. But have feeling Aditi has been sent by NA to harm and get rid of Astha once and for all, so that the world does not think Shlok had a divorce rather world will think he lost his wife. And Shlok can be made to feel inconfident again that he was not able to protect his wife.
Im loving , loving the spunky , witty and smiling Astha. Its a treat to watch Astha/Shrenu in this avatar and definitely better than tears of desperation. But, I can see behind each smile there is so much sorrow at the rejections and loneliness she feels. She is trying her best to be frank in her love bit not let him hurt her. That must be aching her inside...feel for her. I am sure Shlok sees that too. But I think Shlok knows he has to work very hard to be with her. There are reasons for his distance and he cannot close that gap immediately.
Hope we soon get to see Shlok's side of the story too, we have always been shown Astha's version, her feeligns, her hopes, her grief and happiness, her reasons.
But Shlok is a closed book still. Open up!!
