don't u see why she is a judge in the early stage? cuz she will throw out 1 participant/bad singer, who will somehow win public sympathy and then they will introduce public voting to get him/her back!

The formula is so predictable that all I can say/do is YAWN!!!

personally i don't think she will hav any effect on the show wat so eva...n the show is 2 listen 2 the contestants not the judges....so the good music ur hoping for mite not even happen. 😆

honestly I dont think Ashaji should come to the show, no matter what she does/how decent she is, people will be throwing c**p at her, nobody gets spared, and I would really hate to see it, if you dont beleive me come back after the show ends and then tell me

i agree with saregji,ashaji shud avoid this......yaha aakar achha judgement karke bhi sabko khush nahi rakha ja sakta n controversies create ho jaati hai ya to jaanbujhkar create ki jaati hai TRP's ke liye,ashaji is one of the living legends n aisi controversies se wo door rahe yehi achha rahega..............if she comes to judge the finals its ok........but now..........i dont like the idea............just my thoughts..😛

Asha Ji will be good like a "Maternal" figure on the show. With her i guess ZEE and the judges will have to control the dramma. Can you imagine hehe HR and Ismail get back to their little antics and show dramma and Asha ji gets up gives both of them 1 tight slap each and sends them to their corners HAHAHAHAHA 😆 what fun that will be. Also you have to remember with a judge like Asha ji doin the initial eliminations the contestants will be under a lot of pressure and that pressure will push them to do more practice , sing better and better performance on the show. 😛 Of course the other half of the show will be Public voting as usual. 😆

Is she going to be the judge for one episode or more than one episode.. Her being judge for one episode may bring some initial interest in the Zee saregama show but may not have any long term effect.

We may get to hear Mehbooba o Mehbooba song sung by Himesh and Asha ji and that could be fun

What about her 'The Incredibles' music tour in the US/Canada with Sonu, Kunal and Kailash? I think Ashaji may judge for an episode or two but not the entire season. I also think she should avoid it (at least for an entire season) as no judge/mentor is spared in such shows.

Totally agree to you Amit - yes, she may help in getting the initial TRPs for the show, and I guess thats what Zee wants to encash on, as its staring 2 weeks earliers than Star and hence thinking that if they can get the viewers hooked to their show, they may not watch Star once that program starts... But, only quality programming can sustain the show and I am not too sure about that😕

As for Asha'ji singing the song with HR on the show, well RGV may not allow that!

What techniques and textures are you talking about? Himesh's orchestration is utterly bland, in fact many of his good songs have been spoilt because of this. One track that comes to my mind is "Tumhi Se" from Chupke Chupke. That was a wonderful track spoilt by loud syth beats. Most of his songs have assembly-line orchestration.

Himesh is a fairly good composer but he seriously needs to innovate with his sound. Mention must be made of Pritam here, he might blatantly lift tracks from all over but his orchestration is always unique.

As far as Himesh the singer goes, I'd rather not comment 😕

It is "Bland" is once again a personal opinion lol. Consistant 3 songs / composition on the TOP 10 charts week after week. Now thats a fact. Please mention facts thank you come again 😉

I am talking of his assembly line sound. HR dude, take a crash course from Pritam on programming 😉
