CHAPTER-4.

Eyes that glitter wrathfully and warn you off,

While the secret smile holds you back in its grasp..

Claws that are raised before you know it,

When the Predator set his eyes on you ,know that you have no escape..

Shlok now knew everything about her..

Not everything,he chuckled to himself..He yet had to know the size of her undergarments..

He then quickly sobered himself as he studied her file again..The file that he had nearly memorized..

He checked his watch.It was time..

It was time he moved..

Closing the file,he brusquely walked out of his office..It was late and nearly all the employees had left..He called lift,and it was there within seconds.

As soon as he got on the lift,his groin tightened with anticipation.

These moments before he set about capturing his preys,where the most euphoric times for him.

So he waited for the lift to stop..

Sure enough it stopped on the eighth floor..

As soon as the lift door opened a whoosh of beautiful chocolate smell entered along with a small petite form,who was busy checking for something in her bag..

By the time she looked up,the lift door had closed and it had started moving..

"YOU?!!"She gasped out,and quickly moved back..

Shlok only raised one eye brow questioningly at her,as he gave her a soft and lethal smile.

Astha nervously looked at the descending lift waiting for it to start moving faster,when suddenly a subtle movement she saw through the corner of her eyes made her jump out of her skin..

"Don't..Don't come near me..!"She hissed out as she put her hand inside her bag..

A small smirk came on his lips,as he studied her with a bored expression.But his glittering eyes did not escape her notice,as he looked away from her..Standing like a perfect gentleman,with both his hands in his pockets..

Astha relaxed when she noticed he was not approaching her like she had expected him to..

But as soon as she did so..The lift suddenly jerked to a complete halt..

With terrified eyed she stared the door of the lift and then at the tall dark man standing so close to her..

And then before she could think anything she had started banging on the door of the lift,screaming for help..Asking someone to save her..

Suddenly she was pulled away from the door,and pinned against the lift wall.

Breathing heavily and with scared eyes she stared up at the dark menacing face,breathing fire..

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING YOU IDIOT?!!"He hissed out angrily.

He moved his head lower making her close her eyes in fear,as she felt his warm breath on her face..

"For once in your life try to act like a sane normal person,if it is too hard to be intelligent!!!The damn door does not open on banging!!!"He said in a disgusted voice,before suddenly pushing her away,as if the touch of her even disgusted him.

Astha stood numbly as she watched him press the emergency button and call for help..

They were looking into it,the person on the other side informed,and it would take them about half an hour to fix the problem,they let them know..

Astha slumped herself against the wall of the lift,as she stared at the tall foreboding back of the man with whom she had to share the small enclosed space for the next half hour..

How was she going to do that..?

The thought had not crossed her mind,when the man suddenly turned,and looked at her..

Astha's heart nearly stopped at the meaningful glitter he saw in those dark eyes..And she gulped down a knot of fear,as she saw him take a step towards her..
