Okay you patient readers, I am sure you all would have cooled down after that jet session. Now let's get on with business shall we?? Enjoy and don' t forget to drop in your complaints and whining 😉😛 Banner credit: goes without saying, meerab, who is more thrilled than I am about the honeymoon 😆😆

Shlok was working on his laptop on a few issues that demanded his attention. They were to land in another fifteen minutes according to the pilot. He tore his eyes off the screen and looked at his new wife, who was back to her demure self in the pink anarkali suit. How deceptive appearances could be, he thought to himself with a wicked grin.

Astha sensed his stare and looked up from her book. She blushed when she noticed his intense stare, as if he was recollecting the happenings of the past few hours. It was past midnight and she was tired despite a good meal and the rest after the meal. Shlok had exhausted her, and given a chance he wouldn't have let her go at all. He had taken her once again in the small room after which Astha had hurriedly scrambled away to make herself presentable.

Shlok grinned at her with a raised brow. She simply put her book down and went to him. Astha snuggled up to him and effectively stopped him working. "Why are you working even now? Don't you ever stop?" Astha slightly frowned at his workaholic ways.

"Unfortunately I have several companies to run and I cannot completely shut off from work." He grimaced and gave her an apologetic look. Shlok kissed her small head lightly. "But I will try to work only for two hours a day this whole two weeks. Okay?"

"I will hold you to it." Astha was resolute and she wanted her husband for herself. The landing was smooth and they were whisked away in a limo. Astha was sleepy and she dozed at the back seat, her head falling on Shlok's shoulder. He carried her inside when they reached the private villa he had rented for their stay. They had reached France since he had really liked the place when he had been there on a business trip.

Astha woke up, slightly disoriented. The muted light was coming through thick curtains. She got up a little to look around her. It was a beautiful room with antique furniture. The walls were decorated with paintings. Astha looked at the bed to see Shlok sleeping peacefully. She then looked at her phone at the bedside. It was barely six.

Suddenly Astha realized she was in her silver lace nightdress. She didn't remember changing. She flushed and realized Shlok must have changed her. How come she didn't remember a thing? Was she that exhausted? But now Astha felt hungry. She crept out slowly to brush and freshen up.

Astha stealthily went down taking care not to wake up Shlok. Astha made some hot chocolate and she was having it when she saw Shlok coming towards her. Her heart went bang bang when she noticed his bare chest. He was wearing pajama bottoms that rested low in his hips. His sleep tousled hair and sexy smirk made her literally swoon.

"Did you sleep enough? You must have slept quite late." Astha asked in her worried voice, all loving wife. Shlok smiled at her. He drank some water from the bottle and came to her side.

"I slept all I wanted. I was missing you. Come back." He pulled her to his huge body. Astha rolled her eyes at him before giving a grin.

"You just need me to be in your pocket all the time isn't it?" She teased him.

"Pocket? Not really; a little towards the front would be apt." He winked at her while she gasped when his words sunk in.

"Shlok!" She protested and turned around to leave her mug in the sink. He hugged her from behind and refused to leave her even when she wriggled. "Leave me Shlok." She started laughing when he tickled her. Astha squirmed away and ran up the stairs. He followed her like a sleek panther.

Astha laughed hard when he continued her torture. They finally fell together on the bed, breathless and still laughing. She noticed his intense stare. "What?" Astha had still he lingering traces of her laughter after the tickle session.

"I like it when you giggle and laugh. Makes me feel good." Astha stroked his cheek, still smiling fondly at him. "I don't know what it's like." He spoke quietly.

"What?" Astha didn't understand.

"Tickling." He clarified. "My friends in school used to get into tickle fights and I used to watch them. It seemed like fun. I..I couldn't bear to be touched." He spoke in a calm, haunting voice.

Astha's color drained from her face and her smile slowly left her lips. Tears sparkled unbridled in her light brown eyes. Her lips trembled though she was trying to control her tears. She felt so bad for the small boy who could only watch and not bear to be touched even by his own friends.

Astha hugged him to herself. Her small hands barely reached his broad shoulder. She slowly moved him so that his back was towards the bed and she was leaning on him. Astha kissed his lips softly, pouring her love, her sadness, and her inability to wipe out his past. Her tears mingled with her kiss.

Shlok tightened his arms around her when he tasted her salty tears. "Don't; don't cry for me Astha. It all happened long ago." His voice was gruff and emotional. He couldn't stand the thought of her feeling broken for him. But his words only made her cry harder. She dropped all pretext and her body wracked with nerve wrenching sobs.

Shlok was horrified at her reaction. He held her, not knowing how to pacify Astha. He felt guilty for raking up his childhood and upsetting her. Finally the sobs settled to hiccups and she looked up at him with red rimmed eyes. "I do love you so much. I can't help it. I just cannot bear to see you hurt." She hiccuped.

"Yeah I know. I feel the same way. I too cannot see you cry Astha. I am sorry for upsetting you." He was genuinely apologizing for no mistake of his. Astha kissed his jaw and shook her head.

"Don't apologize. I want to know everything. Whatever you're feeling, whatever you felt, whatever you went through, and whatever you want to share." She slowly roamed her hands in his chest, kissing his chest absentmindedly.

Shlok kissed her this time, his lips parting hers. He briefly broke the kiss. "Your lips are so soft after you cry." He gave a gentle smile and went back to her lips. Astha murmured and let her hands roam over his bare chest. She scrapped his nipples with her finger tips.

Shlok gave a low murmur and bit her lips. His hand skimmed through her lace nightdress before going underneath. "Hmm" He murmured appreciatively when he found there were no more barriers to her skin. Shlok's hand touched her and found her ready for him already.

"Good I had the forethought to undress you and put you in this scrap of cloth. Now we need not waste any time." Astha giggled at his words and hit him on his shoulder. Before she could wriggle away, he moved her back to the soft bed.

Shlok leaned up to remove his pajama bottoms and he flopped down on her on the bed. He kissed her bosom through her lacy top before removing her straps impatiently. Shlok took his sweet time to pay homage to all her erogenous zones.

He finally joined her slowly and made sweet love to her. Astha was touched and she felt as if this was the first time he actually made love to her. When they reached the end, Astha had tears of happiness in her eyes.

She hugged him and cuddled him, refusing to part with him even for a second. When Shlok attempted to get up, she tightened her arms around him. Shlok laughingly protested. "Wait I will be back in a few minutes."

"No." Astha refused to open her eyes, nor acknowledge his words. She was feeling pleasantly happy, her body satisfied and humming in pleasure. Astha was literally feeling lazy and contended.

"Mrs Agnihotri?"

"Hmm..."

"Do you want to get up and freshen up?" He teased her, noticing her lazy posture.

"Hmm.."

"What about something to eat?"

"Hmm..." Now Shlok was openly grinning at his wife's answer. He knew she barely heard him.

"Should we go out today to see France?"

"Hmm" Again the same response. Shlok laughed out and got up in a fluid movement. He carried his wife and took her to the en suite bathroom. Shlok opened the jets and made her stand next to him.

Astha opened shocked eyes when she felt ice cold water hit her body. "Shlok!" She protested, already coming out of her pleasant day dreams. He laughed and adjusted the temperature to warm. He was already looking forward to the heavenly two weeks they had together.

Shlok was glad he had thought of this trip. He longed to show his Astha around the world and this was the first step towards that.

So sweet u managd to post the update on our demands😳 astha nt ready to leave shlok until she had the cold showers...that ws sooo cuteee😳 cnt stop smilng imagining that!😃 Ur awsm...romance n heart-touchng emotional at the same time👍🏼

Aparna! What are you trying to do to us? I'm an emotional wreck now. I had tears in my eyes. You are a brilliant writer. Don't crack jokes. I'm dead serious. This is better than the original. Hands down. You and @nallyashlok you girls are just messing with my heart. Yon know I have read very few romantic novels. So I have never been moved to tears reading a fictional. The ones I read just gave me nightmares. I'm sort of making a confession, my sweet hubby,even after 17 years of marriage, still would come to the pantry or where ever I am if the kids are not around would try steal a kiss from me or try to hug me.i used to get annoyed big time. But now I do reciprocate his affection. That's what your fifty shades has done to me. So thank you. Sorry for being such a bore. And forgive me if I made feel uncomfy by sharing my boring escapades at home. I just had to let you know. I don't know what kind of profession your involved in but I hope your in some sort of creative field. I could go on ...but I'll stop before I end up humiliating my self even more.
