As she opened her eyes she was very surprise to see him staring at her.
"What are you doing here?" she asked
"Now Ipshita that is no way to say good morning!" Anupam said placing the breakfast tray near her.
"How did you get in?" she asked
"I know the security men downstairs very well!" he teased handing her over the glass of juice.
She stared at him and got out of the bed.
"Please leave!" she said tearfully.
"Actual I have moved into the guest room," he said leaning against the bed head rest looking at her.
"Well you can move yourself out!" she replied annoyed.
"I'm not leaving your side until the baby is born," he said as he lay on the bed.
"Oh please!" she said
"You can say…
"Look you two timing cheat you have no legal right over me or this child. Now before I call the police just leave," she said firmly.
He got up and walked over towards her and looked at her as she was boiling with rage and he remember what Kaaya had informed him about her blood pressure being high and that it was not good for the baby. As he moved closer to her he grabbed hold of her and kissed her. As she struggled to get out of his hold it was no use as he just kissed her with so much passion and she could feel her body not respond to her but to his kisses instead. As he felt her no longer resisting him he released her and held her in his arms. "I love it when you play hard to get!" he teased.
She let go of him and pushed him away.
"How dare you?" she screamed.
He moved forward and angrily took hold of her and kissed her again. She could no longer resist him and found herself kissing him back. He final released her and held her in his arms. "I am staying Ok!" he whispered…….
She picked up the little teddy bear and placed it to her face and kissed it. Shiv walked into the room and saw her packing the bear family away and approached her.
"I was putting them away as they remind me….
"Here I will help you," he said picking up the other toys they had bought. As his eyes fell on the ultra sound picture he saw her pick it up and look at it as the tears ran down her face. "I'm sorry I couldn't….." Shiv took hold of her as she sobbed and gentle placed the picture frame in the box……..
"I was thinking of going to Kolkatta for a few days," she said looking at him
"Good idea we both can do with the break," he said looking at her.
"I want to go alone," she said.
"Oh!" he said disappointedly.
She looked at him knowing he would be upset and took hold of his hand.
"Please don't get me wrong I just need some time to myself….
"No I understand I will make the arrangements," he said looking at her as she need time to get over what had happened.
"I will be back for Kaaya birthday with Baba," she said looking at him as he got up to leave………………….
Shiv stared at her at the airport as she waved at him. As he watched her disappear he felt upset as he kind of needed her but it was the first time she had ever asked her for anything how was he supposed to say no.
"You should have gone with her," he turned to see Dadi by his side.
"She need time to heal and….
"She really needs you and does not know it. When we loose a love one we do and say things we don't mean as we don't now how to cope. When her mother died she had your mother and massi ma look after her and Kaaya. When Rudra died you had your whole family. Now with the loss of the baby you need each other," Dadi said looking up at him.
"Gauri! Where's my black shirt?" he turned to and walked into the room to see no one there. As he turned around to pull out another shirt in eyes fell upon her sari. He hesitated and reached out to touch the smooth fabric he slowly placed the fabric to his face and smelt her sweet flowery fragrance……..
