Chapter 9: Tere Naina
After 6 months
Rey was dancing in Rehersal area.He was trying hard to concentrate but again glimpses of his dance with Taani were flashing in front of him.In these six months he tried hard to forget her but he just couldn't.He wanted to make himself believe that She was not meant for him but her thoughts were not leaving him alone.He was frustrated with himself.
He dropped the idea of dancing and moved out.He suddenly bumped into someone and they both fell down.He was about to lash on the person for not watching while walking but he felt that his tounge got tied and he could not utter even a word.He felt himself looking into most beautiful pair of brown eyes.
He was looking in those eyes after long six months.The eyes which holds all the emotions of world inside it.He still remember how once Swayam was showing off everyone his baby sis's video when she has won the london's biggest dance fest.That day everyone was mesmerized by her dancing skills but he was just looking at her eyes.It was that when first time he felt attachment with those brown eyes and today even after years those eyes holds the same effect on him.He can identify these eyes even in crowd of millions.
The first time he met these eyes in real was six months back.Even that time too he was captivated in web of these eyes.He witnessed so many emotions in these eyes till now.But today he was witnessing an alien emotion in them.An emotion of sadness,grief, he could see pain in those eyes,pain of losing something very precious.And this thing was creating a void in his heart.He was feeling like these eyes were penetrating through his soul and is trying to find solace somewhere.
"Taani"
He heard his friends shouting her name and then he came back to senses.It was then he noticed her looking at him.He noticed that he was still lying on her on cold floor.He got up and helped her to get up too.
Simmi:"Taani. How are you? I missed you so much,darling"
Simmi moved forward and hugged Taani.Followed by girls and boys.Sharon too came forward and pulled Taani in a tighy hug.
Sharon:"How r you ? When did you guys came? Where is Swayam ?"
She asked breaking the hug.
Taani:"ummm..I don't know. He just..."
Swayam:"I am here"
Came Swayam's voice from behind.He moved forward and everyone hugged him too. Afterall they are meeting him after 3 long months.He hugged Sharon and then nodded his head to assure her that everything is fine.
Rey:"Dude atlast you remembered us.I thought you have planned to settle down with your Sis.No phone calls no messages,where were you lost these days?"
He said hugging Swayam.
Swayam:"Nothing special. I just got caught in some work"
He said giving a brief look to Taani.He could sense her discomfort about this topic.So, to refrain any other discussion over this he changed the topic.
Swayam:"Comeon Baccha I'll show you your class.Your next lecture is going to start in a while"
He said grabbing Taani's wrist. Everyone was shocked with this piece of news.
Rey:"What? Are you joining our college?"
After coming out from shock he asked Taani. But she turned her back to him and ignored his question. Rey was confused with her behaviour. She is not like before. And she is behaving totally different with him only. She hugged everyone except him. She is talking to everyone except him. What the hell he did to even lose her friendship. As far he remember when he left they were good friends but then what made her behave strangely with him.Sensing the tension Sharon answer Rey's question.
Sharon:" Yes Rey, She is joining our college and will live with Swayam from now on"
Rey faked a smile and nodded his head in understanding.
Taani:"Bhai I m not feeling like attending any class. Please drop me home,I want to rest for some time"
Taani said grabbing everyone's attention.Swayam agreed and then after bidding bye to everyone TaaYam left for home.

Rey was sitting in his room.He was trying to figure out whats the reason behind Taani's changed behaviour.
Rey:" Did he told her everything. God I'll kill that bas***d. I asked him not to create any problem in our friendship but he told her everything and now she hates me.Was he not happy enough to snatch my love from me that now he ruined our friendship also.That day he promised me that he'll not tell Taani anything but he broke his promise just to create problems between me and Taani."
Flashback ~
After convincing Sharon,Rey moved out from Badi Haveli and started moving on empty road. His senses were all blurred and he could not think anything. He wanted to cry but tears were not coming out from his eyes. Today he lost his first love. What bad he did in life to deserve such pain. He loved her with his whole heart but god made such a joke of his love.
He was moving silently when he heard a car honk and he turned around. That car moved and stopped just beside him.Mirror slid down and revealed Rey's biggest enemy from inside.
Arjun:"You want lift?"
Arjun asked smilling and Rey felt an urge to break his teeth at that very moment.How could he smile after ruining his life like this. But why would he not smile,Afterall he is blessed with Taani's love. Fate played such game that now HIS Taani loves that Arjun.
Rey:"No Thanks I'll manage"
Rey replied coldly and started moving away.
Arjun:"You won't get any taxi at this time of night.And surely you can't wait to run away till morning. So,hop up its the convenient option"
Rey looked at him like he watched any ghost.He moved next side and settled down in car.
Rey:"I am not running away"
He said after closing his seat belt.
Arjun:"Yes,you are. Yor are running away from everyone,from your love"
Arjun ignited the engine and started moving his car.
Rey:"Don't talk when you not have any slightest idea about that thing"
Rey replied after conveincing himself that there is no way Arjun might be talking about Taani.How in world he would get to know that he is madly in love with Taani.
Arjun:"Correct me if I m wrong.But aren't you running away from Taani. You realised that she loves me so you decided to run away from her"
Rey was shocked,that would be an understatement. Arjun stopped the car in front of Airport.
Rey:"How do you...?"
Arjun:"Its written on your face"
Arjun laughed and replied his incomplete question. Rey composed himself ou of shock.
Rey:"Oh so you came here to make fun of my situation. To show me that you have everything which I don't have"
Rey said in angry tone. Arjun shook his head smiling on Rey's remark.
Arjun:"I am here to tell you that what you are losing by running away like this.I know you love Taani a lot,I have seen this in in your eyes. I am just asking you to try once.You are afraid of rejection that's why you are not even trying to tell her about your feelings. Don't let this opportunity go off your hands. Very few people get true love in life and I really want you to try just first and last time and give a chance to yourself."
Rey:"You want me to go and tell Taani about my feelings and then lose her friendship also. I am not that stupid Mr.Arjun Kapoor. I know you want to ruin our friendship also but I won't let that happen.And dare you tell her anything and I'll kill you"
Arjun laughed and nodded.
Arjun:"Don't worry I won't tell her anything,Its my promise. But I really wish you would have tried just once."
Rey got down from car. and Arjun too followed.
Rey:"Don't act like you are some saint. You are just lucky that you entered in her life before me,nothing else.Just a mere luck.And If there is some god then he'll give me my love back.I don't want any favour of your's"
After these words Rey moved inside Airport leaving Arjun behind.

Hola again,
I know you guys are confused.But don't jump on any conclusion now.After a big turning point in story there are many confusions.I'll reveal it as story will proceed.
Till then keep loving me and my fics.
You know I have a stupid thing about eyes.Whenever I meet any new face the first thins I do is notice their eyes. (my friends says I have beautiful eyes too😆) Anyways,So that why I explain it in detail everytime.
