Kareena is beyond BO? 🤣
All she has ever done is chase BO success
Endorsements? Katrina does more ads than Salman? Does that make her more relevant and succesful then Salman.
Kajol and Karishma do a lot of endorsements. What does that say? 😆
Fanbase? Fans that dont bother watching her films? 🤣

A Heroine has a lot of aspects popularity, BO success and critical acclaim.
DP is ryt now the only one who has got all. Sure she cannot pull a TDP or 7KM but she can act and pretty well, BO success is there and so is popularity

Whats the point of sustaining doing films like Satyagrah and GTPM?
Vidya whom yoy write off so well is sustaining then I guess, She has got films as well.

Futute line up? A film with SRK? Both her previous outings with him have been huge. Andas our lovely Bebo fans tell us, only Khans have star power so I guess shevis fine.
WS is crap? Imtiaz has got a pretty great track record and he is respomsible for Bebo's career high
And if you SB film is crap then I have got nothing to say

Bebo's lineup includes a Singham 2 out n out Ajay movie most likely, Bombay Samurai would have more Farhan too if it stays true to source material. And Shuddhi will probably be donated?

Simply put, has Kareena made hits solely due to her herself. I can only think of one (Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai - from 13 years ago) and perhaps Jab We Met (which is already 7 years old this year.

No she hasn't, which I why I don't think Kareena has the "starpower" that people speak of either.

Nobody but the Khans or males do tbh.
Do the girls contribute? Yes, very much so, but it's limited.

For instance, a Chennai Express was already set the minute Shahrukh was in it.

As was a Race 2.

YJHD also had a lot going for it.

My main point is, I don't think most actresses, not even dpad, can carry a film ENTIRELY on their shoulders UNLESS they are supported by other factors.

If the film has JUST Deepika but the promos suck, I don't think the film has a shot.

If the film has JUST deepika, but the songs are trash and the lead whatever, the film doesn't stand a chance.

Same goes for Kareena.

On the flipside, you put the Khans in a film with crappy songs, promos, direction, and no other famous name and you'll still get a huge opening. Even Akshay Kumar or Hrithik Roshan to that extent will get you that but not as much as the Khans.

I ask you this question. When was the last time you watched a promo of a Kareena film and went, "OMG, this look FANTASTIC, I cannot WAIT to see this movie!"

And then, how many people felt that way about any of her films tbh?

Talaash basically branded her and Nawaz the show stealers

Personally loved her performance in Ek Main Aurr Ek Tu as well, but it's nothing ground breaking.

Heroine also earned her a lot of critical acclaim, though just her luck, the film sucked and it came out at a time when all the actresses put forward their strongest (Vidya in Kahaani, PC in Barfi)

I forgot to include Talaash but as far as I have read, to be honest, these four roles have been the most talked about in Bebo's career. Even in this forum, anyone hardly mentions Aitraaz or a Yuva or a Dev. It's either Geet, Chameli or Dolly. Credit where it's due-Yes she was brilliant in those films plus EMAET (Hi 5 for that. Even I loved her😆). But my reply was to Shaitan haiwan's comment about her strong body of work. It usually looks strong on paper. But we do know what it turns out to be in the film-Phd on Gaalis, Activist in GTPM,Agent in Agent Vinod,etc.

Only 20 years old, 2-3 films experience, and shocked Shahrukh by nailing this performance.

Oh don't remind us of heroine! Everything about that movie sucked!! I had to JWM & Omkara back to back to get over the heroine torture!

But I have to agree that KKK's body of work is nowhere as great as it should for somebody of her caliber! She wasted her talent big time thanks to her poor choices! I don't care for her box office status as long as they are quality cinema! Atleast DP is standing out in all her movies even though her talent is limited which I think is commendable! I don't want Bebo to start doing a bunch of Singhams to put herself back in the box office completion now! That could be the worst thing to happen now!

I had my reservations about Singham as well.

But then, if you watch Golmaal 3, Kareena actually got a role on par with the boys. She, Kunal Khemu, and Mithun were called the show stealers of the film.
