As she started to walk, she started to examine the locket,closely, she had never touched the locket,maybe, or even if she touched, it was the first time when she had held it in her palms, she looked into each & every intricate carving rudraksha bead and the gold plate covering it had, but it wasn't usual; there was indeed something special,something really divine, she was able to feel the vibes this locket had, she wanted to return it because she knew that Shiva never let anyone touch his locket and took care of the locket as if it was his one of the body part, just like it was his piece of heart, but right now it was with her and the vibes this locket gave her,she wanted to keep it with her a little more longer.
As she reached the Pandya Niwas she saw Dhara di waiting for her outside the house,she went there and hugged her grinning.Dhara frowned and said, "Kitni der kardi Raavi yeh bhi koi waqt hai aane ka?Pata haina voh Palmist kitne busy hai...log tut pade hai...kal hi kanta kaki keh rahi thi unki palm reading bohot accurate hai..", to which Raavi replied, "Sorry Dhara di but meri koi galti nahi aapka laadla devar haina usi ki khabr lo jab dekho mujhe tang karta rehta bhootnath kahika!",rolling her eyes, and continued, "Aap voh sab chodo aur chalo aap kya puchoge usse vese mai toh do dinse soch rahi hu kya puchungi", to which Dhara patted her head and said, "Dobi,ab chal".They went to the palmist and they were told to tell the palmist some necessary details like birthdate,birthtime,sun sign,etc. and then their questions,three questions.
Dhara asked her three questions, one about Pandya Store,one about her family and one about the child.The palmist somehow told her that the stores successes would be hindered and it would take time for expanding, about family she was told that three new members would enter,one of them would be her child,and the family would certainly get the happiness.It was Raavi's turn now,she was nervous,indeed,so the first question was, "Mam kya aap bata sakte ho mujhe sachha pyaar kab milega?", to which the palmist replied after closely surveying her hand,she smiled and said, "Jab aapko Bholenath ka aashirwaad milega,tabse aapka sachha pyaar paane ka saffar shuru hojayega", Raavi got elated but frowned because the riddle she just heard bounced above her head and exited from the backdoor,she got perplexed,she asked, "Aur voh mujhe kab milega,kese milega?", to which the palmist said, "Aaj ya kal ya fir parso...shayad aapke paas pehle se hai,shayad bachpan se hi hai par milega aaj...aur tab milega jab aag aur paani takrayenge";Raavi got annoyed as she listened this,why was she giving her riddles and not the answers,she found her to be fraud,cursed her mentally with a fake smile and got up, the palmist asked, "Arre rukiye aapka teesra sawal toh baaki hai.." , to which Raavi said, "Mera hogaya...agar kabhi zarurat pad kya mai aake puch sakti hu?",to which she nodded,and Raavi left after bidding Dhara goodbye so that she can storm off to her college for extra classes.
As she reached the college she saw Shiva parking his bike, he seemed normal,she panicked as he started approaching and she unknowingly wore it and hid that under her top.She grinned as Shiva came in front of her, to which Shiva said, "Ay mami ki behen ki beti yeh kya subah se mere raaste ki kaali billi ban rahi hai kabse bich mein aarahi hai chal hatt!",she rolled her eyes and said,"Ay bhoothnath kaali billi kisko bolraha haan?Kuch bhi bakwaas karta hai", to which Shiva held her shoulders and locomoted her to the side, and stormed off in the class.She rolled her eyes and went in the class, only to find Shiva was sitting on second bench and Vedant on the first bench, she smiled as she went to sit on the first bench.After the class started, Shiva noticed her staring Vedant as if she had saw monument kind-of something,that too,not once,but multiple times, he ignored her though as he focused his attention on faculties words and started scribbling notes.In the end of the lecture they were told to form pairs with their benchmates and make a presentation on "Evolution of business in Rural India";Raavi was so happy she wanted to jump out in happiness,her smile was so big,Shiva was able to see it from behind,he made an non-amused face as he realised some random girl was sitting beside him and he was least interested in doing project with her.Aditya started the conversation about how would they do the project, and Raavi just kept humming and smiling to his words,as if agreeing to everything he said.
As they all headed towards parking,Vedant offered Raavi lift,which she readily agreed to with a big smile, but Shiva was furiour;how did she agree to go on a ride with anyone,did she not see him there,wasn't he going to be there;he frowned pondering on how dobi this girl can be.He quickly texted Dev and Krish to make up some story about sangeet practice for Dev and Rishita's wedding.Raavi was about to sit behind Aditya on his back , only to be stopped by Shiva who pulled her arm and said, "Aye Chipkali tu bhul gai kya aaj tujhe mere ghar aana hai..sangeet ki practice karne!", to which she said, "Aaj thodi karni thi kal karni thi na...jaane de na Shiva", to which Shiva glared at her and replied, "Abey agle hafte sangeet hai tu bhul gai...aaj hi jaana tha ab chal chupchap!", to which Raavi went up to Vedant said, "Voh kya haina Dev ki shaadi hai toh mujhe jaana hoga..sorryyy,next time" narrowing her eyes and smiling cheekily.Shiva mimicked her as she huffed there in anger, she pouted as she sat behind him,and put her hand on his shoulders,only to get surprised as he didnot shrug her hands off his shoulder.
They were on their way back Raavi was thinking about the advice which palmist had gave her, her words ringing on back of Raavi's mind, then she connected the dots only to find out that Shiva's rudraksha locket was the boon,Bholenaath's aashirwaad which was the need of the hour for her today, the aashirwaad did bring her good luck, she was able to sit beside Vedant and not just that, she was even paired up with her Ved for the project,she giggled as she imagined them spending time together doing the project work.She thought why not to keep his locket for some time more before he gets to know whereabouts of his locket, by this she would kill two birds with one stone, firstly she would be able to take her revenge from Shiva by fooling him and secondly, that locket brought good luck so she hoped for spending her good times with Vedant.She patted her back and smiled proudly.Shiva was feeling a sudden hollowness ,something was missing, he thought to himself,something was weird, he realized that there was something missing, it took him about five minutes to realize that his locket was missing,so he pressed the brake button and stopped the bike so fiercely that Raavi crashed on his back, she asked him in frightened voice, "Kya hua Shiva?",to which he did not say anything and started looking into his pockets of shirt and trousers, she again asked him, "Shiva bolna kya hua?", to which he said in panicked voice, "voh...voh mera locket...mera locket kho gaya"; her eyes widened on listening this and she tightened the hold on his shoulders,fearing of what to do next...she adjusted the locket more carefully and hid the chain behind her neck which was somewhat visible and was able to put her in death-mouth. She said she never saw it anywhere else and only on his neck, and Shiva was so much anxious too notice the mischievous sparkle in her eyes and evil smile hiding behind her lie.She told him to look at home or store, that were the places he spent his most times, which seemed logical to Shiva so he started his bike and they went to Pandya Niwas.
At Pandya Niwas after munching on snacks, Shiva excused himself to find the locket as Dev,Krish and Raavi started rehersing for the sangeet,they danced one after the other, dragging Dhara and Gaumbi in it too; it was Raavi's turn when Shiva came disappointed from his room and started searching for the locket in the corridor showcases, and drawers; a slow song started where his attention went to the mirror which reflected her,swaying,twirling around gracefully,with a beaming smile, and her glown up face.Shiva stared at her as if the time around him had stopped, he was feeling somersault being performed in his stomach;he smiled softly,unknowingly, & their eyes met.As their eyes met, she got lost in his eyes though from the dance and stopped in the middle of her performance.They were brought back in reality when Krish had clapped twice to draw her attention as he and Dev coughed when they noticed the eye-game being played, leaving both of them blushing and looking away.
She was going to give a special performance and hence needed more practice so she started once again from beginning.While watching her dance Shiva accidently noticed something moving around her neck,he recognised it,it was the locket,rudraksha locket,his locket.
