So what happened, green was definitely bagging on this to hit . So what do you think happened that made it not connect with the Pakistan gp and make it a big?

I can't say it flopped. It is getting good TRPs for a channel like: Green. It gets millions of views on YT. But this show isn't a family entertainer, so it is not expected to get good TRPs. Its theme is dark..and Pakistani families are used to watch typical shows. this is why it isn't a hit.
Chalo jee. Ab isse bhi flop declare ker diya?
It’s only been 4 episodes and it’s doing decent imo for Green. Ratings are okay and views bhi?
I do think this is the kind of show that should air twice a week. Other than that I’m enjoying it.
It’s just started. Doing well enough considering leads haven’t interacted at all till now.
It flopped because it's on Green tv, which doesn't have big loyal audience like ARY, GEO or Hum
Infact I would say the show is doing very well considering currently lead characters hardly have had any screen space. Story right now is being carried by strong actors but they are not the leads and still it’s getting million of views. Once leads get their screen space it should do better. KMKT also picked up once the love story started or the leads started to get more screen space.
It’s not a flop. In fact, it’s currently their top show in terms of TRP and views. It’s important to consider the differences in TRP and viewership between well-established channels and those that are only a year old. For example, imagine someone just launched their own brand of chocolate. You can't expect the newly launched chocolate to compete in sales with Cadbury, no matter how much better it might taste. It will take time.

4-5 million views on Youtube and 1 or 2 TRPs can't recover the money of high-budget dramas. Currently, Green TV is spending more money than Geo and Hum on dramas. No one knows what will happen in the future, whether this newly launched chocolate will make profit or not, but currently it's in loss, not profit. So Dunyapur with less than 2 trp actually flopped. It is getting less TRP than the Turkish-dubbed drama of Express TV.
I have no idea about the numbers & views and it's it's a hit or a flop.
I can give my two cents on why I stopped watching.
I started watching it but once a week didn't help the case.
I was more invested in the brothers' equation but Nayab dies in the 4th episode without doing much which is a bummer.
I couldn't connect with the main leads.

I have worked for a lot of startups, and they always burn money in the beginning. Green is already earning a lot from their YouTube channel — at least 15 million PKR per month. I think they must already be turning a profit, although it would in no way be comparable to Hum, Geo, and ARY. It took Netflix 10 years to become profitable, and Uber is still not making a profit.
The show on Express is not making any revenue from YouTube, and its TRP is also not that great. It is only 2 points higher than Duniyapur; there is no denying that.
