But if KK had only done some insignificant parts then Shakarji deserves a 10.

Wait what song were you talking about when you said 2 male voices sang?

Yet this is receiving low marks. 😆

yes, i agree with you ssk.. although this is not a very popular song but we are here to judge the singing not the song, when i listened to that breathless fast part, i was amazed to see that Shankar ji has sung it so perfectly, keeping the pronunciation clear and the sur completely intact. I could not stop myself from giving it a 10. also when i compare it with the rest of the songs of the other singers, i think this singing justifiably deserves a 10 from me. Everyone can have his own point of view, that is what brings variety i think. So, chill out and understand the points of other judges as well.😊 we all judges have an equal share in the marking. so nothing to argue about. Yet, discussing this song was an interesting debate to read. Rock on Annu Ji and Himesh Ji 😊

Oh and just to make my POV clear,

1. Sonu's Kal Ho Na Ho was more difficult as a song and he added extra embellishments to make it EVEN better/harder
2. Sukhi's DardeDisco also requires more difficult and beautiful vocal techniques than does Shankarji's song. (Shankarji's song has one technique -high pitch and power- used many times during the song. Even this technique is not as beautiful or difficult as Sonu's breathy voice + harkats)

I have highlighted the good bits of all three songs in my reviews.

All of the above are just my opinions and I'm happy for
people to disagree. Refrain from pointless sarcasm or plain rudeness. If you think there are only two sane judges in this competition then tough luck.

Yes I agree, especially with the bolded part. Right there, I was like wow, this deserves a 10, and he sang the rest of the song really well too.

Shankar Mahadevan without a doubt had the most difficult performance this round. And he sang flawlessly in it.

Shankar Mahadevan toh Hindustan ki naak hai, aur agar ap isko dus marks nahin dete hain, aapko khelne ka haaq nahi hai!!!

if you are pointing towards me, then i would like to correct you that i said that we all should listen to each others POV and respect that. did not meant any sarcasm whatsoever. its not in my nature to biased or to be rude to the opposite POV taker. i am not considering myself sane than others. and i do not consider myself more enlightened than any of the judges here, all of you are great. thanks.

No somone999, that wasn't pointed towards you at all - you've been very fair throughout and have tried to maintain peace and harmony. That sane thing was pointed at someone else and we've sorted out our differences by PM so it's all fine. :D

i was troubled by your line "If you think there are only two sane judges in this competition then tough luck.".. its not in my nature to think of something like that against others. thats why was surprised at that point. anyways, i hope "aal izz well" now between you two, thanks for the clarification. and please do continue with your Annu ji shaiyri 😆
