Mohit Sehgal, the cool dude on television is a happy man as he is being liked by one and all, as Samrat in Star One's Miley Jab Hum Tum.
"All love the cool dude, hip-hop style that I portray in the show. I am glad that I have a good fan following", quips the Delhi-ite.
Mohit soon after his graduation, was helping his father in business until the movie 'Delhi Heights' came his way. "Delhi Heights was a very good experience where I got to play a character role. I am now following it up with a lead role in the show, so nothing better than this", states the actor.
"I was new to the industry and was raw when I started the show. But the response I am getting from my fans now is that, I have improved a lot and this is a big compliment. I will try my best to keep them entertained. The best part is that, many do not even miss the repeats of the show", exclaims the actor.
The actor in real life is a 'Mama's Boy' and is totally different from his on screen persona of Samrat. "There is no similarity at all, as I am not a party freak in real life. I am a family person and love to spend every minute with my parents", says Mohit.
Talking about the unit the actor states, "We are like a family, and to mingle well in just 3-4 months is an achievement in itself". He has a special mention to make on his on-screen partner Gunjan, played by Sanaya Irani. "She is a very shy girl, reserved who cannot take the loud atmosphere of city life. But I am slowly trying to change her for good", laughs the actor.
On the ongoing strike, the actor states, "Whatever solution comes out of this will be good for all. But we need to get over this soon, as we really need to work now".
