No rukmani mentioned will never changed d universal truth Rukmini was mahalakshmi avtar which she is considered also .

Draupadi ko leke bahut stories hai koi ek nhi , even narada or garuda puran she is said wife of vayu

Actually, this phrasing is puzzling. If I'm interpreting correctly, it should mean Panchali was born on earth out of intercourse (ratyartham). Debroy sir was circumspect and translated it as "out of love." Was Vyasa saying Panchali was born the normal way? Then, why not outright say it? Or was she an illegitimate offspring of Drupada's?

Even there is story which say pandu & drupad were frnds , drupada wanted 2 marry his daughter to arjun .

1. Panchal and Hastinapuri were at loggerheads until Pandava-Panchal alliance. When Shanthanu died, king of Panchal even proposed marriage to Satyavati which enraged Bheeshma, and he attacked Panchal. Amba's grandfather, Hotravahana, was a Panchal king (Srinjaya, IIRC). Highly unlikely under the circumstances that Drupada and Pandu were friends.

2. Drupada was Drona's generation. Drona was married to Kripi, Bheeshma's adopted sister. Not that 2 men of diff generations can't be friends, but it would be more age appropriate if Drupada wished to marry his daughter to Pandu.

My feeling is that Drupada didn't have kids (at least none legitimate) until Pandavas came into the pic.

Sannati, daughter of Asita Devala.

If you go by Buddhist jatakas, king of Kashi and Panchala defeated the king of Kosala and killed him. Kashi king then married the pregnant queen and adopted her daughter, here called Kanha. Princess Kanha then married the sons of Pandu.

Question -

Why did Dhruti name his son "Duryodhana"? Or How come people started calling him "Duryodhana"?

Do we know names of his 99 brothers, apart from Dushashan and Vikarna?

In entire MB only two times I felt I bit sorry for duryodhana but when he cried near bheesam when he was lying on bed of arrows , second at death of karn.
