The episode continues with Balraj and his goons arrival amidst the jashan heralding Mishti Madhu's arrival . I;m quite liking Balraj's acting and dialogs ----they are really filmy and comical in a menacing way------Balraj's first meeting with his daughter Madhubala flinging her dangerously into the air and his baby talk sent shivers of fear into Padmini as well as us .
Shamsher's entry was no less filmy and herolike---and I was happy to see him as well as the mohalla waalas fight back and send Balraj and his goons packing with a threat never to come back again ! Balraj exits with his goons but with a threatening promise to return and kill Padmini and her daughters the next time.
Shamsher's anger with Roma for giving Padmini and her daughters shelter ,( despite knowing the truth) by jeopardizing the safety of the entire Mohalla was justified, but so were Roma's reasons . Shamsher's request that Pamini should vacate his room before the safety of the chawl is compromised further was honored by Padmini who left very early in the morning . Much to her bad luck Balraj was waiting for her to terrorize her---bit before he could do anything the trio get run over by a truck and "apparently" die , Being the coward that he is, Balraj sends one of his goons to check if the three are really dead, which the goon confirms. Judging by Shamsher's uncharacteristic anger and ruthlessness , I have a sneaking feeling that Padmini's death was staged and a plan executed by the entire Mohalla , in order to eliminate the possibility of Balraj ever returning to Mumbai in search of Padmini and her daughters.
