LJG didn't end. After the 11th May episode the next episode starts with Shiv & Ishani sitting inside the chamber of Shiv's doctor. The doc declares Shiv fit to resume his normal activities now. Ishani is elated & her eyes turn misty & Shiv couldn't help but notice her unshed tears. He had been massively thawing for her and her love in the past few days. The way she stood by him and his family in difficult times, he found it more and more difficult to hold onto his resolve of hating her.
When they are leaving from the hospital Shiv and Ishani collide with Swapnil. Swapnil recognises Ishani and is shocked to see her with Shiv who looks exactly like Aniket. He understands that this is none other than Aniket's twin Shiv. Swapnil taunts Ishani that how she didn't care a bit about Aniket's feelings and his friend got killed because of her and now she is roaming with his brother as his wife. Shiv is stunned to hear all this and to see Swapnil behave rudely with Ishani.. For once he blocks Swapnil way and tells him to stand away from his wife. Seeing Shiv's sudden protectiveness Ishani is all surprised and bit awed. She tells Swapnil that he is misunderstanding her and that she just tried to save Aniket but before that Swapnil reveals to shiv how Ishani came to their house in maid's disguise.
Noticing Ishani's gaze go down hearing Swapnil's words, Shiv is left shocked. He couldn't fathom what was he even listening! Ishani took a disguise to keep an eye on Aniket! But why? Only then Swapnil spots a policeman there and runs from there shouting that Ishani & Shiv betrayed Aniket. Shiv grows restless hearing all this, he is not able to make a head or toe of that conversation and starts feeling giddy, he starts to gasp as he gets a panic attack. Ishani gets all worried for him and summons the doctor. She is rubbing his back rigorously. Shiv keeps asking her constantly what that guy was saying, but Ishani is unable to tell anything to Shiv as he is in a frenzied state, the doc injects him a tranquilliser to calm his senses.
Later at night, Shiv wakes up in a frantic state at home, Aniket's name on his lips. Ishani rushes to his side and wipes the sweat from his forehead. She brings a glass of water near to him but he stops her hand midway. He demands to know the truth. Ishani tells him to take rest for now and she will tell everything to him later but he doesn't budge.
Shiv tells her if she wont divulge all the details about Aniket he would himself go and check upon Swapnil. Ishani tries to stop him as he cannot drive under the influence of sedatives but he doesn't listen. He pushes her hand, walks out and is about to leave the driveway in his car when Ishani comes in front of his car to stop him. He applies brakes with a force and the car stops just near her feet. Shiv is going crazy with anger. He reprimands her and demands her to leave his way or he shall go in a taxi.
Left with no option, Ishani tells Shiv that she will disclose everything to him but he has to trust her as the truth is not very rosy and easy to accept for him. Shiv is left a little taken aback, confused about what was she about to reveal. Ishani takes him inside and makes him sit on their bed. Taking his hand in hers, She tells him how all the confusion started when Aniket came to her house to propose her a day before she proposed Shiv. And how she started to investigate the matter when Shiv denied coming to her home not once but twice. The floor beneath Shiv's feet slip as he comes to know that Aniket also loved Ishani.
Ishani unfolds to him how she mistook Aniket as Shiv and was all cheered up to realise that Shiv Dhooper loves her that gave her the courage to express her own feelings to Shiv. A drop of tear escapes Shiv's eye when he realises how much she loved and still loves him. Before she can tell anything else, Shiv's phone rings, its a call from Swapnil. He asks Shiv to meet him at a secret location to know more about Aniket's truth. Shiv leaps towards his car but Ishani stops him saying he can't drive. He stills for a second and then throws the keys in Ishani's direction and tells her to take the lead then.
The whole way the two of them don't utter a word. It's raining outside, and Ishani is driving and Shiv is just sitting quietly laying his head against the car window. Ishani looks at him every now and then to check on him. On the signal, a girl comes and offers Shiv to purchase a bunch of red roses for his wife.. Their eyes meet at the young girl's offer. Shiv refuses her but the kid pleads and finally Shiv buys the flowers and keeps them on the dashboard in front if Ishani. Without uttering a word they just move ahead... "Ghar" plays in background.
On reaching the location where Swapnil called him, Shiv and Ishani go inside, its a dark wrecked house. Ishani holds Shiv's arm tightly on an impulse as thundering makes a blasting sound outside. Swapnil has already reached there with a bagful of Aniket's stuff. He hands over Aniket's stuff to Shiv - It contains Aniket's college books, a laptop and headset, some IDs, his spare spectacles, some tea bags and some shirts. Shiv gets all emotional caressing Aniket's clothes.
Swapnil makes a deal with Shiv that in exchange of Aniket's truth Shiv will help him get bail. Shiv agrees to his condition. Swapnil reveals to Shiv how Aniket used to work with him to pull off internet scams and how they ended up in Delhi. He tells how Aniket encountered Ishani as a pizza delivery agent and got attracted to her. Ishani notices creases of discomfort on Shiv's face when Swapnil tells about Aniket having feelings for Ishani. Then Swapnil unfolds that how after Ishani rejected Aniket for Shiv, he lost all his self control and wanted to kill Ishani.
Shiv looks at Swapnil shocked. He is not able to digest that he could have lost Ishani at the hands of his own brother and that too just because she chose him over Aniket. Shiv feels extremely helpless that he could not do anything to help his brother. That Aniket suffered from massive issues and there was no one for him... To help him. And the only person who tried to help him, he misunderstood her as well.
Then Swapnil tells Shiv how two men brainwashed Aniket into believing that Shiv was the reason of his petty condition, how they planned to swap them on their birthdays and kill Shiv. He shows to Shiv the building cctv footage of the day when Ishani came to take Aniket somewhere. He also shows to Shiv the papers where Aniket tried to forge his sign. Swapnil didn't know Ishani came to take Aniket to Shiv only so he thought she was involved with Sumit in killing Aniket but Shiv definitely knew that Ishani came to their house in disguise only to take Aniket to meet his family. Shiv threatens Swapnil to tell the name of the other person who brain washed Aniket as he knows one of them is Sumit but before that Swapnil escapes hearing to police van's siren.
Shiv is literally turned to stone after the entire revelation and is not saying anything. He is not able to process the tragedy that unleashed on Aniket and Ishani and how he couldn't do anything for either of them. The police comes to the wrecked house but Ishani diverts them telling that her husband is not well so they stopped by to rest for a while. The police tells them to leave the place asap as it was a spot for many illegal activities and police had orders to seal the place.
Ishani takes Shiv and leaves from there. On the way back home she keeps talking to Shiv urging him to speak but he's gone all silent. She stops the car near a stall to fetch water for Shiv but when she comes back she notices he is not inside. She looks around worriedly and finds him standing outside, in front of the bonnet trying to forcefully pull out Aniket's clothes from the bag. He falls on his knees and breaks into a loud moanful cry hugging Aniket's clothes. Ishani rushes to his side. She kneels down on her knees and cups Shiv's face. Shiv breaks down wrapping his arms around her chest. He says he couldn't do anything for his brother. Nor could he do anything for his love. He tells her if something had happened to her because of Aniket he wont have been able to survive and forgive himself. Ishani is left all teary eyed seeing Shiv in this condition and almost confess his feelings.
The two of them stay in the same state for a few passing minutes until Ishani slowly breaks the hug. He slowly wipes his tears and asks Ishani about the whole truth. She knows this time she cannot hide anything and she didn't even want to. She reveals to Shiv that the other person who tried to brainwash Aniket and even plan his murder was none other than Bhupi mama and he only threatened her to not give statement against Sumit else he would tell the police about all the illegal activities that were happen ing in Grand Regaria without Shiv's consent.
This time Shiv is not even surprised, but he is disgusted and his eyes are all red with rage. Ishani tells him she doesn't have any proof but she will collect and get the same to him soon. Shiv is looking intently at her as she confesses her helplessness.
He takes her hands in his, he is looking down and then he looks up, locking his gaze with her. He tells her that it's not the lack of trust that blinded him into hatin her, but it was his anger. The anger that didn't let him think straight...he couldn't understand how could she delay the punishment to his brother's killers. He always thought that she does things the way she fancies without caring about how others feel and same was the reason behind changing her statement unexpectedly which made him hate her with a vengeance . He hated how she took the decision to change her statement herself and never made him a part of her problems. He repeatedly kept asking if anyone was threatening her but she never revealed the truth. But that didn't mean that he didn't trust her, he still trusted her because he loved her. "Mujhe proofs ki zaroorat nahin hai Ishani, I trust you, I trust you because I LOVE YOU... And no lie or truth or proof can change that. I tried hating you a lot but my heart, it only knows how to love you". He confessed looking straight in her eyes, not blinking even once.
His heart had loved her always and irrespective of how much he showed that he took her actions on face value, his heart always kinda knew that she couldn't do anything wrong to his brother.
Tears roll down Ishani's face as Shiv finally confesses his feelings. "I am sorry Shiv.. I am sorry that I had to hide such a big truth from you" she said between sobs. He wiped her tears from his thumb and cupped her face in his hands. "Maafi to mujhe maangni chahiye Ishani. Bahut rulaya na maine tumhein. Bahut taqleef di..Tumhein apni baat kehne ka mauka tak nahin diya. I am So so so sorry Ishani. Please maaf kardo apne idiot Lamppost ko. I promise aaj se kabhi aisa dobara nahin hoga..Main kabhi hone nahin doonga I promise. Ek mauka dedo please" he lets out a heavy sob, on the verge of breaking into tears, cutely holding his ears.
She lets out a sigh, tears roll down her cheeks on their own accord now. "Ab aise bologe to Ms Fried-rice to kya koi bhi pighal jayega Mr Lamppost" she said while pinching his nose and breaking into a sob.
Both of them broke into each other's arms in a bone crushing hug, taking turns at clinging onto each other more tightly and then shedding tears on each other's shoulders. It rained more thunderously drenching them more in this newly found intensity of their love.
A few moments passed until they finally broke their hug and moved away slightly, still holding each other's hands. Their was a hue of deep pink in the blush of Ishani's cheeks and Shiv couldn't help but adore her for being so cute while being all shy.
They swore to work as a team to find proofs against mamaji. They decided that Ishani will put up an act to leave the Dhooper house making mama mami relieved and prone to commit mistakes when Shiv will catch them red handed.
"Ms Friedrice but this is so unfair, abhi to hum mile hain, aur usse pehle hi tum ja rahi ho" Shiv made a grumpy face while driving back.
"Thoda patience rakho Mr Lampost, aur itni asaani se ye Ishani nahin milegi tumhein. Thoda ghumao, phirao, picture dikhane le ke jao, date pe le jao. Phir sochegi ki shaadi karni hai ya nahin" she quipped crossing her arms on her chest.
He suddenly applied brakes and looked notoriously in her direction. "Abhi aur time chahiye tumhein sochne ka Ms Fried rice...Abhi batata hoon main tumhein..Picture to main tumhein ab dikhata hoon" he teased her and leaned to pull her in a passionate kiss, one of his hands on her waist and the other one in her hair.
It was going to be a rollercoster dating phase with his wife!
