Sudha Chandran inspired by Kiran Bedi

Sudha Chandran plays top cop in Kyun Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. A Balaji loyalist Sudha has recently joined the cast of Kyun Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Speaking about her character Sudha says, "I play ACP (Asst. Commissioner of Police) Ragini Suryavanshi who is investigating the Trupti murder mystery. As of now my character has been assigned 30 episodes."

The seasoned actress says that she always wanted to play such a challenging role and thus the moment Ekta came up with the offer, she couldn't decline it. Sudha states that she's always been inspired by Kiran Bedi and this was her chance to emulate her idol, albeit on camera.

So is Ragini Suryavanshi a tough talking cop?

Sudha replies, "She is stylish, speaks in a heavy tone but at the same time she's very down- to- earth. I want to thank Ekta and Balaji for granting me this role."

While Sudha is ecstatic about her role, the Viranis must be sweating with fear.
