@bold - I can agree with this POV too though I am sure CVs were not trying to show her like that. she is NOT mahan but enjoys portraying a victim. - Can't blame her for wanting a better life. pyar ke liye rona hai hi to at least raj mahal mein naukar chakar ke beech mein bait kar rone mein kya burai hai.

I dont mind her being selfish or grey, but be clear about it... Her actions and words dont match at all.

Amrit's bipolar behaviour is the result of the bad writing... Before leap she had certain values which she never compromised on.. The same girl went on to live with a stranger without marriage .. And to justify her acts, she used her bauji's teachings about vaada... Kahi se woh mahaan nahi lagti woh.... Instead she seems like a cunning and manipulative person... Pretending to be mahaan while enjoying the luxuries of the palace is hypocrisy... She should at least accept that she's liking it there instead of pretending that she's doing it all out of mahaanta.
About veer, lesser said the better... Atleast rest of the characters had an arc and proper growth before the leap... This character has no head or tail.... Kabhi kuch toh kabhi kuch aur. 🙄
Most of Amrit's dialogue this week have been typical mahan ITV female waale... They have ruined her completely.
Pre partition she was not all this mahaan. She never hesitate to call a spade spade. She taught a good lesson to Mogar Bua when needed and gave a earful to Kiran as well.
But now she cant see any fault in Rani ma. According to her she is the best mother.
Veer got her bhabhi molested, put all blame on R and blackmailed her to marry him. Still she is behaving all sweet with him. Why??

Right you are! She's not only sweet to him, she is also improving him!!
Her only saving grace is that she refused to co-operate on the wedding night and has always said that she loves only Randheer to Veer bluntly.

Most shows have one lead and others come and go. Even when they start with 3 brothers like they did in IB, all shows end up getting focused on one person.
the leads are never trouble free. so these new villians were expected. Yeh jayenge toh aur ayenge.
I am not liking her makeup in white - too white, even her face looks white.
But she is still in character - worrying about the world and rani maa and everyone except Randheer. Or may be she is enjoying playing a vidhwa status while having an affair on the side and doesn't want to formally marry.

Most of the good shows be it Balika Vadhu, bade achhe lagte hain, or any other, have a beautiful sync between the main male and female leads. There is a 'we-are-together-in-this' attitude and situations/villains come and go, the story remains watchable. In KUDCA, the very fact that Amrit is forever denying their union, be it Lalaji's promise, Veer issues, Ranima's health or whatever, that bond between Amrit and Randheer has always felt one-sided. So Randheer was fighting this alone, is fighting it alone and will go on fighting for their union, making the formula overused and stale. Unless Amrit and Randheer make a team, and we get some nice scenes, most of the viewers are going to leave the show. Hope someone is listening...
