Reason for Om's changed behavior in DBO??!! Upset with this.

Guys,

I thought i was the only one who isn't connecting with the om in dbo promo. I thought i am preceiving it wrong as i have not watched much of him. I got connected with his character instantly from the intial promo. Remember how coolly he said his dialogue with a sad smile, " perfect pyar, perfect shaadi sirf kahaniyon mein hothi hai and janvi's too om ko oberoi kaandan se zyada uski murthiyan samajthi hai. I got fascinated that instant. Though there wasn't much difference in his dialogues now, hus demeneur seems to be changed a lot. Intially he was like a snow mountain outside with a raging valcano inside. But now his rage is out which for me seems like out of character. Let's see if my perception changes after watching the show.

Yes me too not happy with the promo at all. We love the original Omkara from Ishqbaaz, why this sudden aggressive and angry Omkara.
The ponytail look is good but still they should try and retain his original loose hair look as that makes his face look smaller and cuter.
In ponytail Kunal's face looks really big especially his nose.
Have no comments for Shrenu, she's gorgeous no doubt but didn't expect her to be a runaway bride.
Expected his lead to be his lawyer...
Also does this confirm that Cheddas daughter Sonia is not Shrenu.

Exactly, omkara's character already has lots of intensity, passion and complications to deal with. There isn't any need to turn him to an angry young man for the love story's sake. And yeah, even i like his open hair look, it gives him that saint/ banjara kind of vibe. So intense and intriguing

True, But I can even connect to the out of character Om but DBO version is heart breaking. But lets see, what is stored in the story.

Why ML had to be an angry young man who needs a FL to calm down and change? I seriously can't understand the logic. 😕

Original calm, composed, Shayer Om, brother Om who cover's Rudy's mischief, brother OM only who can make SSO melt, sensitive Om to Understand Soumya and Anika, Good Om to offer help to Ishana -- I miss him, now this SSO version.

I don't think he has changed.. he just said.. Pyar zindagibhar ka dard deta hain.. n usike sath lifetime jeena padta hain.. may be reason is TejVi.. So may be he is not expecting.. der will be love in his life.. der will eb constant fear in his love life now.. Om's LS will be intense and lil bit painful too.. past shadows of his parents failed marriage n may be his FL's zoot bolana thing or her greyish character lil bit.. .. Om as a person is still same.. I don't think he will behave rudely jaan bujhake except his hate for zoot bolana thing.. so let's wait n watch.. I felt he is depressed person now.. not changed..

I don't think that his anger is not justified. it would most certainly be justified. it can even be realistic. But even I am sad. Because the past justifying the cold nature is not Om's thing. or at least it was not meant to be, when the character was introduced. And that's what the issue is.

Even if there is a reason, what was the need of this? To show him illegitimate, to break TejVi (they had so much potential) and make him leave. Vanvaas track could have been handled in a better way. I think gul had this only in her mind when she was planning the nafratbaaz thing. to give om a good amount of excuses to be a cold natured man, and then take away his uniqueness and make him like shivay.

But this is not the Om we signed in to see. The essence of IB is SSO is still SSO, RSO is still RSO. then why they had to change OSO?
