You made me feel sad. but it is true. Viplav has a special place in my heart too. not many tv characters are as noble as him. what a human Viplav is!

What a lovely song...reminded me of one other great actor of yester years.

As the d-day is almost upon us, words are failing me . Feels very empty.

Yes, Viplav will always remain etched in my memory as one of the best characters

on TV, all thanks to Mishal . I can never say enough of both

Thank you very much! 🤗 You couldn't have been more accurate, Prem. Mishal's very realistic depiction of the smitten dashing prince of Benares is what had me hooked to the show. Conceptually extremely hard to believe, but Mishal played his role to the utmost conviction. He gave each and every one of us hope that such a love can exist and that it's not confined to fairytales. At the time, I was confused by Mishal's decision to return to this role. More so because of how he exited and how he made a comeback, but that's an entirely different issue altogether. I had never wanted him to leave and retrospectively I'm thrilled he chose to come back. Imagine the dismay and emptiness we would've felt had he not opted to continue on as Viplav Tripathi. We would've been robbed of not only a character, but a happy ending as well. Deep down inside my heart, I too question whether Mishal will ever return to a daily serial. He waited for four years before agreeing to this role because of its layers and revolutionary attributes. I don't think any of the promises that were made to Mishal were kept a few months into the show. Seeing how the television industry works in the name of TRPs, I see him being very weary of taking on another project. An actor of Mishal's calibre rightfully belongs in the film industry where he can choose roles that will satiate the desires of the actor in him. I can envision Mishal excelling in not only character-driven roles, but also plot-driven films as well. Another part of me feels that after IKRS and the lack of its success, he has something to prove not only to the industry but also to himself. In a lot of ways, he reminds me of Aamir Khan and I see that perfectionist streak in him too. In the end, all I can say with confidence is that Mishal's destiny is going to lead him to the path he chooses for himself with respect to his career. As fans, we can only hope. 😊

I hope you enjoy watching LTL, Prem! Dutta is the complete opposite of Viplav, but it'll allow you the opportunity to appreciate Mishal's vast acting capabilities. Plot-wise, I think Love Story has been his best show. I think you would enjoy watching him as Akash Sehgal. Even at the age of 25, Mishal was flawless in his role. 😊

My intention wasn't to make you sad, Awida! 🤗 I know we're all running high on emotions because the end is near. Viplav is a class apart from other characters on television. He was a wonderful human being who always believed in doing the right thing. I wish this delightful character hadn't been taken advantage of by his family. 😒
