TS Uncoupling - Part 1 ‘Ghar aao na’
Sai was kidnapped by Sada and eventually rescued by Samrat and Virat. Sada had explained to her the whole scenario between him, Shruti and Virat.
Virat was concerned for her and was trying to talk to her but she was reluctant. Samrat, noticing this, took her away with him in his car. To recover from her injuries, Sai was asked to recuperate at Pulkit and Devi’s home. A day later, Sai was asked to report to the police headquarters for her statement.
Sai was asked to wait in DIG Sir’s cabin. Samrat also joined her as his statement was also required. Just as they were about to settle down, Virat came in.
Sai immediately gets uncomfortable and signals to Samrat to move out but DIG Sir enters at that moment.
“Hello Beta.. kaisi ho?”
“Thik hun Sir.. thoda injuries hai… 2-3 din ka rest prescribe kiya hai”
“To Sai.. if you are comfortable, mujhe batao ki ye sab kaise hua? Tum kahan gai thi aur kaise ye sab hua? Constable statement record karega”
Sai relays all the events that have happened but avoids mentioning that she has shifted to hostel permanently, instead she portrays it as staying in hostel for group study.
The constable records all of it. DIG Sir, not really convinced with her explanation but instinctively knowing that it's not a full truth, nods at her and asks her to stay back for a while more.
He records Samrat and Virat's version where they both have to corroborate the initial part of her story about staying in hostel for group study. DIG questions Virat about his friendship with Sada and his reasons for kidnapping Sai. Virat gives half baked answers about his Vaada to Sada.
DIG finally speaks… “Main tumhe ek jaanbaaz officer samajhta tha Virat.. Lekin I am sorry to say that you have messed up this time.. You did not respect your uniform, your oath to the country and neither to your family and especially Sai.. I am saying this unofficially but I may recommend a suspension.. Please take this time to think through about what you have done”
Virat, depressed and hurt at his words, doesn't say anything to his senior but moves out fuming. He sees Sai waiting and looks into her eyes. She quickly turns her face to avoid him but even in that tiny moment, he sees the hurt, pain and seething anger in her eyes. He moves slightly towards her to talk but she quickly goes inside DIG Sir’s cabin.
A day later, Virat is at home and receives his suspension order. He is upset at this setback in his career and wants to talk to someone but as everyone at home is giving him silent treatment, he finally decides to call Sunny.
Sunny, also upset with Virat's behaviour, is debating whether to pick up the call but does nevertheless.
“Haan bol Virat” quite sternly
“Tu bhi naraaz hai kya mujhse?”
“Tune kaam hi aisa kiya hai.. Aur kya expect karega?”
“Tu bhi mujhe galat samajh raha hai mere bhai”
“Nahi Virat… galat hum nahi samajh rahe hai.. Tune aisa dikhaya hume ki hum sab us tarike se sochne lage”
“Kya bol raha hai yaar Sunny… maine ye sab tum sab ko bachane ke liye kiya”
“Kya bachaya tune Virat… teri zindagi ka sabse khoobsurat rishta? Aapne maa-baap ka bharosa? Parivar ka guroor? Teri izzat? Sai bhabhi ka bharosa?”
“...”
“Ab tere paas koi jawab nahi hai na… hamesha ki tarah chup rahega tu.. ye soch kar ki sab apne aap thik ho jayega… kabhi socha hai teri ye chuppi kitni takleef deti hai sabko? Tujhe lagta hai chup rehne se kisi ko kuch nahi pata chalega.. Par yahi teri sabse badi galti hai… tu chahta hai sab tujhpe bharosa kare.. Sawal na kare… tune kuch bhi aisa kiya hai jo ye bharosa jayaaz ho? Log kyun tujhpe bharosa kare… jab tum aisa impression de rahe ho jaise tum jhoot bol rahe ho?”
“Mujhe Samrat ne bataya sab… tujhe sab ne kitne mauke diye sab batane ke liye… Sai bhabhi ne diye.. Tujhe ek baar bhi nahi laga ki ye jo sab tere apne hai, tujhe support hi karenge.. Teri madad karenge? Are sabko nahi… Sai bhabhi ko batata? Unke accident ke baad tera aur unka rishta itna khoobsurat ho gaya tha.. She recognised her feelings for you. Tere mission ke dino main she was upset… worried for you… fast rakha unhone tere liye… and you still feel that she would be okay with you having a relationship with another woman? Husband wife wala relation na sahi… par usse kuch kam nahi na tha… it was more than friendship… aur tu to kehta rehta hai na ki tu pyaar karta hai Bhabhi se… ye kaisa pyaar hai tera Virat.. Jo tujhe unki takleef, unke aansu, unka dard dikha nahi? Mujhe to ab lagta hai.. Tujhe kabhi pyaar tha hi nahi… sab dikhawa tha!!”
This pinches Virat and he angrily shouts… “Kya bol raha hai Sunny… main sach main pyaar karta hun Sai se”
“To phir jaane kyun diya… kyun nahi roka… tab bhi kyun nahi bataya ki tera aur Shruti ka koi rishta nahi hai… at least vaisa nahi jaisa sab soch rahe the…”
“Hum jisse pyaar karte hai na Virat.. Uski takleef hame dard deti hai… aur pyaar bade bade gestures main nahi hota… it's about trust, respect and acceptance. You ask for her trust but don't trust her. You want respect but don't respect her feelings,her emotions. You accepted her presence in your life but never her. You tried to mould her to what you feel is right but that my friend would have lost the essence of who Sai bhabhi is.. Thank God, she is smart. Tune hamesha Bhabhi ko immature samjha hai.. Lekin sach mano to vo bahot sensible hai.. She understands the difference between right and wrong.. She would have supported you had you trusted her”
“Ek aur baat.. Ye jo tu Bhabhi ko dosh deta hai na ki vo teri feelings nahi samjhti.. Kabhi socha hai kyun? Kyunki tune kabhi unko clarify nahi kiya ki vo jo deal thi, Pakhi ko kiya vaada.. Vo sab badal gaya hai… haan tune anniversary pe koshish ki thi par socha hai vo itna kyun gussa hui.. Because she didn't understand your intentions. Sure, she was wrong in her outburst but you gave her reasons to do so”
“Anyway, maine bahot bol liya… tujhe kuch samajh aaya kya mujhe nahi pata… tujhe thode din farak padta hai but then you go back to being you.. par mere dost.. There is a thin line between Right and Wrong, and it depends on your morals and principles.. And here is where you faltered. Tera intention shayad sahi tha par execution galat aur use sahi sabit karne ke liye tune jo bhi kiya vo usse bhi jyada galat… aise main tere sahi intention ki koi value nahi bachi yaar”
Sunny ends the call, exhausted from having to explain this to his friend and whose friendship he cherished at one time.
Virat at his end, now remembers all the moments from the start of the mission and to this day. He realizes how he misread Sai’s feelings.. The way she was asking him to tell her the truth, to trust her and reduce her pain… her pain that was constantly flowing from her eyes. How, even when leaving the house, she looked at him one last time and he didn't move a bit. How he betrayed their friendship, her trust and yes she did say… ‘her guroor’ in him.
Unable to bear the hurt that he caused her, Virat finally slumps to the floor and cries inconsolably…

I don't know what I wrote.. didn't turn out the way I was expecting. Par ab likh liya to post kar diya 😉
I wanted Sunny to be one to put some sense into Virat.. one he is a friend and secondly he knows the truth right from the start. Missing him in the show. Planning to do a Sai POV too depending on the feedback. 🤪
