Geet was still shocked of what she heard, "Maan sir is adopted," Geet asked and Dev nodded a yes, "Me and my sister was young, when my Dada ji took Maan Bhai in to our house and introduced as our big brother, from that Moment Bro takes care of our family as his own, may be more than it, when my Dada ji died, Bro took up all responsibilities and living for only us, I and My sister never seen much of my dad and mom, we missed them, but after bro's arrival into our life, we never had a chances to miss them,"

"For us, bro is not only an big brother, but an mom and dad to us, he cared us, taught us, protected us with his life and for my Dadi maa, bro is an gift of her husband and for bro, she is more precious than anyone, in this world, if anyone can control bro, it's my Dadi maa, he never denies her words," Dev said and Geet's eyes filled up, "but Dev, Maan sir's, real family," Geet asked slowly.

"Don't know Geet, we never asked and we never wanted too, he is our family, Maan, Maan Singh Khurana and the world knows him like that only and we too want that only, Geet please don't ask about this or speak even a word to anyone about this, it's our family secret but don't know why I wanted you to know it, promise me Geet, that you won't tell this to anyone," Dev said as he raised his band aid hand towards her,

Geet without thinking held his hand, "I promise Dev, this secret will not come out of my mouth ever," Geet said and Dev smiled up, "Geet I am saying this to you because I believe strongly that you will too be my family in future," Dev thought smiling at her, "Dev now, you take rest," Geet said seeing the clock and it showed 5.00 am, and Geet went away,

Maan was walking to and fro in his room, he didn't sleep as he's two loved ones are in hospital, thought the doctor said Dev is ok, still he can't keep himself from worrying and with Geet, he was so confused, the more he tries to get away from her, the close the fate brings them together, not only them but also towards his family, seeing Geet's concern of Dev made him happy and scared, he wanted to keep Geet away from him and his family, Maan thought, but he don't know how possible it is,

As soon as the sun came up, Maan got ready and went to Dadi maa's room, who was still sleeping, "thank god", Maan thought, "if she was awake, then I need to say more lies", Maan thought and went away, "Nakul," Maan called and his employee came up, "I am going now, say to Dadi maa, that I will be back soon, and ask her to have her breakfast," Maan said and went away, Maan rushed up to Dev as soon as he got to the hospital,

Maan saw Geet standing near the counter and seeing Maan she smiled big, and Maan mind was so in control now, he went towards Geet who was smiling up, "Maan sir, great that I met you up, oh, Dev is shifted to the private room from ICU, and he is so good," Geet said with a big smile and Maan nodded and followed Geet who was running in the front, Maan went inside and saw Dev who was lying there closing his eyes, Maan went near him and caressed his head over the band aid making Dev to open his eyes,

"Bro," He smiled big as usual, "How are you now Dev?" Maan asked, "I am feeling better bro, you don't worry," Dev said and he held Maan's hands, "Dev, what is this Dev, what have you done to yourself," Maan asked holding Dev face with his free hand, "what happened Dev," Maan asked and Dev looked at Maan and Looked at Geet who was looking at the two brothers and looked away, "O, Bro actually, I was hit by an car," Dev said, "How dare someone hit my brother, did you see his number," Maan asked suddenly filling with vengeance for that unknown person,

"Bro, it's ok, actually the mistake was mine too, I didn't see the road as I was talking on the phone, but leave it bro, now I am ok na, so you just calm down," Dev said smiling up and Maan tapped on Dev's cheeks, "I will meet the doctor and come," Maan said and Dev nodded an ok, and Maan went away, Geet went near Dev who signed big and closed his eyes in relief, "Dev, Maan sir hate being lied to," Geet said and Dev looked at her shocked, "Geet," Dev said slowly, "Dev, I saw you there, you were not hit by an car, you were hit by humans,"

"Those deep cuts on your body says it been made by knife not by any car, and your head" Geet said and Dev signed her to keep quiet, "Geet please," Dev said, "See, you are right, I had been attacked, but I can't say that too bro, already bro is so scared and concerned for my safety, he made me join an boarding school and never left me come to Delhi at that time, and after schooling he made me go to Canada and just now he had let me to stay here, and I am sure he would have made someone to follow me, he always keeps me and Annie and Dadi maa under his tight security",

"He feels that something would happen to us too like it happen to my dad and Dada ji, that's why he didn't even inform to anyone about my arrival and most of person's don't know I am MSK's bro, he keep my social profile low, now say Geet, how will I say to Maan bhai that I am attacked, if I say him this he will parcel me to Canada in the next flight even, so please," Dev said and Geet nodded, "Ok, I won't say this to Maan sir, but Dev atleast tell me what happened," Geet asked and Dev nodded,

"oh, actually I was on my phone and suddenly a black cloth covered my face and that's all I was take up my some guys and they didn't give me any time to react and after a few minutes they opened the cloth after dragging me to a few distance, they all were wear masks and was so strong too and they had guns, they asked whether I was MSK's bro and as soon as I said yes, they started attacking me and he did my best fighting back, but those sharp big knife's was too much, somehow I pushed them off and started running away",

"As I run from them someone hit my head with something and I fell off, and closed my eyes, those guys came near me and saw my closed eyes and decided I am fainted, and left me there even, after a few minutes, I gained some strength and walked up, but the pain was too much so I fell off and that's when you found me I guess," Dev said, "Dev did you hear anything from their speech," Geet asked, "Nothing much, but one thing was clear they were not attacking Dev, they were attacking MSKs brother, and another thing, strange thing, one guy said if I am dead department will reward them for killing MSK's brother,"

Geet heart started to beat high, the word Department was so familiar for her, just then she remember her conversation with Breej about Dev and this, Geet anger raised up on Breej, "what the hell he thinks of himself, just because Dev is MSK's brother, doesn't mean that he had to be attacked," Geet thought, "Geet come on, bro is right, he has so many business enemies who don't like him, so this must be their plan I guess, I will be careful next time, so don't worry Geet," Dev said and seeing his big smile and Geet too smiled holding his band aid hand, looking at his glowing face,

"Dev," Maan's voice broke their silent moment and Geet left his hand and stood away, Maan came near dev and rubbed his arms, "Dev, doctor said you need to be here for a day or two, ok, I will take care of Dadi maa, you don't worry," Maan said grinning up, "Bro, don't worry, I am fine, if you order me I will run home right now," Dev said trying to get up, "Dev," Maan held his shoulders to stop him, "Dev, from today you are not going on self drive ok, and that too at night, you get that," Maan ordered, "Bro but," Dev started to speak,

"No buts Dev, it's my order, if something happens to you, I will not be able to live with that for even a single second," Maan said and Dev hover up and hugged Maan, "Bro, please, don't say like that, I promise to do anything you say," Dev said his tears raising up and Maan too held him close, and Geet stood there seeing the pain and worry in Maan's face, " Dev was right, Maan sir treats Dev as his child, his motherly pain and worry is clearly seen, this is all because of that Breej," Geet thought got on her nerve, "Sir," Geet's voice made then apart, "Can I go home for a while," Geet asked, "I will be back soon," Geet said,

"No need Geet, you can go to the office straight away, I will take care," Maan said, "But sir, you have meetings and presentations, I will take care of Dev until he is here," Geet said, and Maan looked at her with his anger bossy look, "Geet, cancel those things, my brother is more important to me, then those," Maan yelled and Geet looked at Dev, "Bro, Geet is right, you can't cancel those meeting for me, and now I am alright na, let Geet be here, and Dadi maa, if she comes to know this than that's all, so bro please, you carry on with your work" Dev said and Geet too was looking at him,

"Ok," Maan finally nodded and both Dev and Geet smiled big and Geet went away, Geet got to her home in Maan's car as per his order and within a few minutes she got refreshed and doesn't even care to take her breakfast. She rushed out and called and cab and gave the address, she can feel her tension rising in her heart,

Breej and DCP was talking there looking at the files, when Geet rushed into their office, both Breej and DCP was shocked to see her with an anger burning face, "What the hell was that," Geet shouted out as she got in, "I told you Dev has no connection with MSK's activities, he is as innocent as anyone of us, if you want to attack MSK attack him straightly, not by attacking his family and friends, if you want to hurt him, do that in a law full way, arrest him if you can but don't hurt his emotions, like an coward,"

"Stabbing behind the back doesn't look good on our department, and one more thing, until now I didn't find that MSK is an don or an criminal," Geet said shocking Breej, "Geet, first of all relax, we didn't do anything and you are speaking as if doubting my words," Breej jumped in yelling at her, "I am not Doubting your words, but tell what I knew, please stay away from Maan sir's family and don't try to do anything like this again, we are responsible person, assigned to protect people in an law full way not in a goons way, one more thing like this then I have to report this to my organization," Geet warned and went away,

Breej was shocked to see Geet's this avatar, her anger, her concern for MSK's family made him shocked, "How dare she is, she is speaking as if I attacked her family, you were right sir, she is fallen for MSK, she is turning to be an liability that an asset," Breej said and DCP smiled up, "Breej, everything is going good, don't worry, if she is falling for him in real instead of acting then that is to double good for us, just watch her closely and try to keep her in control, we need her now more" DCP said and Breej nodded and went away.

After Maan went away Geet and Dev started talking and in few minutes a guy came to their room, "Excuse me Madam, MK asked to give this package to you," the guy said and gave the package and went away, "Wow Geet, Bro send you an Gift," Dev said with a smile and Geet opened the package and found an cell phone, "Mobile," she said surprised, and Dev smiled up, "wow, mobile of his sweet," Dev started and Geet looked at him and Dev smiled, "I mean for his sweet secretary" Dev said and Geet smiled up "Dev", Geet saw an note too stick to the package, "Geet this number is active, so you can use this now even to call anyone if needed,"

"what's in that note," Dev asked as he saw the note and Geet showed it to him, "hmm, so who you wanted to call first," Dev asked with an eager smile, "Adi sir," Geet said and Dev looked at her surprised, "Adi? But why Adi?" Dev asked confused, "I wanted to tell my leave na," Geet said and Dev nodded an ok and Geet called Adi, "Adi sir, good morning, actually I need leave," Geet said quickly as soon as Adi took the call, "And I asked Maan sir's permission too," Geet said, "ok Geet, no problem, but you know where Maan sir is," Adi asked and his voice was so tensed,

"why sir," Geet asked, "Oh, I had been trying to call him for a long time, but his phone is switched off and I call his mansion and they said he is out, need to tell him an important info," Adi said tensed, "what is it Adi sir," Geet asked, "Oh, Gurgaon meeting is cancelled, I have to inform to Maan sir now, or else Maan sir will go there and found it and will kill me," Adi said and Geet nodded a ok, "Don't worry Adi sir, I will inform him," Geet said and Cut the call,

"Dev, Maan sir's meeting is been cancelled it seems, he would have reached your house now na, I will call your house and inform him, so tell me your mansion's number Dev" Geet asked and Dev thought for a minute, "oh," Dev smiled and said an number and Geet dialed the number but the land was dead, "Dev, the line is dead," Geet said looking confused, "really, oh, sometimes it happen, do one thing, go to my mansion in person and tell this to bro," Dev said and Geet looked at him shocked,

"Oh Come on Geet, just go and tell him now, or else he will start to his meeting and that's all both you and Adi are gone," Dev said, "But Dev" Geet started, "Geet go, as there is no other go" Dev said and Geet nodded an ok and went out, "yes, finally, hope Dadi maa sees her and identifies her, please god, please" Dev thought as he laid back and closed his eyes,

awesome update...loved the bonding between dev & geet...but I am confused why someone is behind khurana family??...Are brij & DCP behind them??...or is it someone else??...
