Yes Mangala kali looks like Mahakali but wears gold ornaments I guess

That would be nice to see and also different from the previous Mahakali's shown.

Visha Mangal in her name doesn't mean the planet it means one does good

She is said to be the bringer of auspiciousness and destroyer of evilness!! And mangal grih had something to do in the story, which right is not striking!! I guess, she changes lohitang to grih and bad to good!!

Yeah actually that form of Kalika where she has mundmal and steps on a shiva is her most angry form that if Raktdantika or Kaalratri. Maybe after consuming so much blood for social good she had become very angry but in other form like Shyama and Mangala she wars pretty clothes with ornaments

I have seen that idol with Mahakali stepping on Lord Shiva in many temples.
