In-form Shubman Gill is reportedly down with dengue and could miss the World Cup 2023 opener clash against Australia on October 8 (Sunday) in Chennai. Gill, who has has had played some spectuclar innings in ODI cricket in recent times, is reportedly down with high fever and will be tested for dengue on Friday before a final call is taken on the matter. Ishan Kishan may replace him in case Gill is ruled out from playing the match on Sunday.

I am afraid Gill will miss game vs Afghanistan too koz Dengue usually last for 7 to 10 days

Our coach & captain not Risking Ishan kishan as opener after keeping wicket for 300 ball.

Definitely ishan better keeper than part timer rahul

Ya he is our best in ODI with 1200 runs in 2023, he is more dependable than our Aged big name cricketer.

Although our former cricketer think that "with out Gill" our first 5 can pile up enough runs because of home pitches Experience.

For dengue one need to take rest at home than go to hospital, but people rush to hospital, The stronger medicine they gave so you get more weak.

You need "papiya ka paan" juice for 3 days & your Energy back 100%.

Dengue is not life threatening so no need to worry much.
