Be it Congeniality, be it Duplicity
Or even Ferocity

Aditya Srivastava is the Epitome of Versatility!

There are quite a few things which separate good actors from great ones; and one of them is versatility, the ability to perform a variety of roles explicitly or subtly different from each other. He also had bit role of Meghna's brother terrorist in 1998 , Dil Se. He beats Amar played by SRK for liking M eghna, played by Manisha Koirala. Plans to blast at delhi.

He apparance as Tito in the 2000 movie Dil Pe Mat Ley Yar. He had not only had apparance but also co-produced.

Role of Assistant Commissioner Of police named Aditya gives him duty-bound character in the movie SAATHIYA . Though his role was for a little span he gives his best and it was sumptuous .

2003 movie Matrubhoomi: A Nation Without Women gives major role for Aditya. The film is about the impact of female infanticide in society where he portray as Raghu's uncle, a bachelor who abuses the kalki sexually and killed her as she goes to birth a baby girl.

Aditya's versatility is proved once again when he portray Murgi, guitarist in a group of five buddies in a movie Paanch. When everyone crave to earn money by immorality to release album. His versatility does not confined to the silver screen, it flourishes in Tellywood as well.

Though Aditya does not act so many serials like he acts in lots of movies but television gives him popularity most due to the character of Abhijeet in CID.

The very introductory of his Television vocation starts with the first chapter ofByomekesh Bakshi-Kahin Kavi Kalidas. An atrocious character named Madhumoy Sur who is suspect in a murder. Leaving everyone to captured the type of actor he is which begins his versatility from the very time.

Followed by Raat Hone ko hein as extra mundane experimental mantle, killing a fellow who killed him in antecedent life.

In Ristey, he is Rashid Gul, terrorist who killed kundan being against Rashid. Later on he seeks kundan's home threatening to kill mother and sister. Being suffered from malaria, Mother and Sister, Usha couldn't hate but developing mother-son relationship made him surrender. Police encounter him before he surrenders. Perfect titled as "Maa".

The next episode of Rishtey titled ''Highway" , Vijay is a rugged who incriminate the human trafficking business. Later on, he falls for the young lady named Veera to which he shanghai for his business. Leaving everything they onset a new life .

In Yeh shadi nahi ho sakti, he portray a drunkard debacle director named Mr. Daruwala. The kind of character he portray is frolicsome. He intentionally makes a flop film with Golcha to loose money and thus to save from income tax.

In 9 Malabar hill, he plays positive character. Fisherman named Majid, an expert sea swimmer. He has a sister. The landlord of village threatens to harm Majid's sister if he doesn't recover the treasure Majit decision to obey ethics. Later on he's been blackmailed to go against ethics of law.

His further role in serials is equally, if not more, impressive. STAR BEST SELLERS, NAYA DAUR, AAHAAT & SATURDAY SUSPENSE PEHELI are few serials where he acted.

Aditya initially joined the show for a single episode in the role of a reluctant criminal named Paresh in STOLEN GUN Episode (1998), who steals the ACP's gun and attempts to shoot down his callous ex-boss before being stopped in the nick of time by ACP Pradyuman.

Another well-known but notorious role of his is as the perfidious rogue Rocky in the infamous 2009 episode, BEHRUPIYA, where he kidnaps Abhijeet and uses plastic surgery to infiltrate the C.I.D team, successfully hoodwinking most of them until the climax where he's exposed by Daya and delivers him a near-fatal gunshot before being slain by the real Abhijeet. The episode largely focuses on red herrings as the team searches for the doppelganger in their midst, and subtle signs are used to indicate Rocky's infernal presence, a vile creature lurking behind Abhijeet's mask upon his face, and once again Aditya proved his prowess by carrying out this demanding role flawlessly.

But none of those were as popular and widely appreciated as his portrayal of Senior Inspector Abhijeet in B.P Singh's now-famous crime thriller C.I.D., a dynamic character he's been bringing to life onscreen for over 16 years now.

A capable police officer battling complete memory loss and trying to find his identity was how Senior Inspector Abhijeet was introduced in the serial CID on 21st July 1999 Case of Stolen Dynamite. The intelligent way in which ACP Pradyuman convinces Abhijeet to get back into his former life and comes out from the emotional turmoil that Abhijeet undergoes.

Senior to Daya, second in command to ACP Pradyuman and a police sharp shooter whose anger is legendary just as his quick silver retorts regardless of the rank of the person interacting with him forms the character Abhijeet. He sauntered into everybody's heart. To many others he was a slice of reality in the uniformed forces solving crimes daily as their jobs. Sr. Ins. Abhijeet displayed his skill as a team player & leader in the absence of ACP Pradyuman. His loyalty & dedication towards his work inspires his juniors. His daring attitude saves his country, countrymen & his colleagues' life many times. Duty always comes first to him. He never think twice to give resignation when he finds himself guilty but ACP Pradyuman never accept his resignation as every time his innocence is proved.

Sr Insp Abhijeet a is brave and fearless officer. For him, "
Duty Firsts, Sentiments Later." He never gives up. He'll fight till his last breath for the sake of his duty. Abhijeet has put his life in risk for his duty, country and colleagues without thinking twice. We have seen his this nature in "Azadi ki jung", "Abhijeet in Coma", " "Abhijeet ka inteqaam", "CID in train", "Abhijeet ke ateet ka raaz" and in many more episodes.

In spite of 16 glorious years of CID as Sr Ins Abhijeet, he silently repent through the years for his mother's death. She dies as he could not identify her due to memory loss. Memory is the Achilles' heel of him. Many times, Abhijeet becomes in trouble due to his memory & sometime his own trusted colleagues (ACP Pradyuman, Daya, Dr Salunkhe) have to mistrust him. Many times the goons try to use his memory loss against CID but all the time, Abhijeet comes out with flying colors.

Not only is he seen selflessly plunging head-on into the most dangerous of situations and clashing with everyone from amateurish criminals to the most ferocious monsters in existence in order to save the lives of innocents and his beloved teammates (and very often his own) but he's demonstrated a further stunning display of his versatility by portraying a variety of undercover roles while in the shoes of Abhijeet. One of the more early and popular examples of the same is seen in the episode, The Case Of The Undercover Cop, where Abhijeet disguises himself as a drug peddler and ventures into some of the most vicious and perilous ghettos of Mumbai to expertly mingle with a cruel gang of smugglers and going on to bust up the entire racket. In the 2010 case Khoon Ki Holi, where after surviving a close call with a masked thug named Sonu, he disguises himself as the same and goes on to save the day in the climax. The outcome of the combat isn't immediately revealed and his masquerade is uncanny enough to trick the foes, his teammates and the audience alike. From truck drivers, waiters, peons, salesmen, low-lives and barbers to doctors, librarians, junkies, hippies, assassins, auto drivers- all kind of character he's portrayed in course of the show. Near about 70 episodes till now he portrayed different disguised character and surprisingly all this instance we couldn't find any traces of Abhijeet.

Speaking on relationship terms with his fellow colleagues, his rapport with Senior Inspector Daya is known to every loyal CID viewer. Daya has been his strength, his pillar of support, his brother, his shoulder to cry on and above all the best friend he could ever have in his department. Through his emotional turmoil, through his crisis in the office, through every thick and thin, Daya has been with him. He trusts Daya with his life and would do anything, even if beyond his reach to save Daya if he is in danger. Their legendary friendship was portrayed strongly in episodes of the Shruti Series, Case of Inspector Daya's abduction, Case of Accused officer, Behrupiya, Abhijeet in Coma, Azaadi Ki Jung, Revenge of the Criminal and so goes the list endlessly. In the episode Abhijeet Ka Inteqaam II, Daya chokes as he says this about Abhijeet "ek aisa dost jo mere ek awaaz mein kahi se bhi aa jaata tha". Such wonderful is the bond they share. In yet another episode Daya says " Arre yaar tumhare liye kuch bhi" when Abhijeet thanks Daya for a help rendered. True relationships go through tests that break the people involved. One such thing happened between our legends and it was during this period of emotional turmoil that an injured Abhijeet tells Daya in the episode Azaadi Ki Jung 2, " Jab tak tumhara ye dost zinda hai, koi bhi goli tumhe chhu nahi sakti" and once again, they proved that they would weather any storm that might come across as a hurdle in their friendship.

A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out. That is indeed a fact that the two of them prove every moment.

Abhijeet & ACP Pradyuman's relation is another wonderful relation shown in CID. ACP Pradyuman always helps him to come out from his memory loss & loves him a lot as ACP sir once said - "maine tumhe humhesha apne bete se jyada pyar kiya hei". He also said - "tum to jante ho mere baad agar main kisi par sabse jyada varosa karta hoon to woh tum ho". And Abhijeet never let him down. "jaan de dunga magar aap ka varosa nehin tutne dunga". Abhijeet never mistrust ACP Pradyuman even when the world goes against him. He always stands for him. Once DIG Samsher Singh offered him the post of ACP of CID by shooting ACP Pradyuman in reply Abhijeet said to Daya - "Daya, Samsher ko malum nehin ke Abhijeet beek nehin sakta aur ACP ki office ka rasta Pradyuman ka laash ke upar se nehin jata". Who can forget that scene of Akhri Chunauti Part 8 where Abhijeet tried to save ACP's life by blackmailing him to put gun on his own head. ACP Pradyuman trusts him most & mistrusts him as well whenever Abhijeet becomes suspect of any crime. Abhijeet never complain about it rather he said - "ACP sir dil se nehin dimaag se sochte hei". Though there is only one case till now where ACP sir said - "magar Abhijeet mere dilne iss jhoot ko sikar nehin kiya...mujhe pata tha tum aisi galti kar hi nehin sakte...bina kisi wajah tum kisi mujrim par goli chala hi nehin sakte". Though ACP Pradyuman shows doubt openly on Abhijeet in maximum case, but he silently believes Abhijeet. We can easily understand that from ACP Pradyuman's expressions. And Abhijeet always proves himself innocent. ACP Pradyuman knows very well that Abhijeet can do anything for him even he can sacrifice his life also. Once Freddy said to ACP sir- "Abhijeet sir to aapke liye apni jaan vi de sakte hei", ACP replied - "issi baat ka darr hei Freddy mujhe". Abhijeet understands ACP Pradyuman more than others & he always dare to question the ACP when others can't think about it. We see another touchy scene for this two in Abhijeet Ka Inteqaam II where Abhijeet was shot lying on the road, Daya holds him in his arms and tries to revive him by calling out to him & he appeals to ACP to call him to consciousness as he would never disobey ACP, ACP calls out to him and a few seconds' later Abhijeet gasps and consciousness is regained. In Rahashya Dweep IV episode we see again their sweet relation & we can't forget Abhijeet's dialogue - "aap hamare liye anmol ho hum appko khone ka khatra nehin utha sakte". They share a perfect father-son relation.

More than some pairs of words ,the emotion, affection and caring nature speaks the truth meaning of bonding And the aspect of having amazing coordination. We found truly natural and outstanding heart to heart relation Between Acp Praduman -Abhijeet- Daya. Many time cid episodes scrutinize the bonding betwixt them but they put everything else to evince there's problem with time because their relation is amongst at the Everest which is above everything else. The fatherly - Son relation throughout professional as well as personal life makes everyone attached with them whatever reel or real life.

There exists a bitter-sweet relation with Dr. Salunkhe. Though the nok-jhoks in the lab are worth some memories, the squabbles that happen between them get too painful. In one of the recent series, this went to the extent severing their relation but in the end all was well when the doctor apologized to Abhijeet through a sorry card.

Abhijeet and Tarika shares a good relation. It started with Abhijeet flirting with Tarika in Forensic lab. Their exact relationship is not cleared yet. Abhijeet and Tarika never proposed each other officially though in Giraftari series Dr. Tarika confessed that she likes Abhijeet. It can be said that they are good friends, more than colleagues.

Abhijeet and Freddy share a very close bond and Freddy not only looks up to Abhijeet, but both share a friendly and teasing bond. Between 2005 and 2009, Abhijeet would often pull Freddy's leg whenever Freddy mentioned his wife or thought about doing something without telling his wife. While this declined in future years, Abhijeet continued to pull his leg once in a while, though at times he also got angry at Freddy. Today Abhijeet and Freddy share a very professional, but close personal relationship. While there is less leg pulling, both care deeply for each other.

After the trio and Abhijeet-Freddy, arguably the best junior-senior bond CID have seen in years..their journey started with a naive Vivek getting duty lessons through remarks in both serious and sarcastic ways..their bond strengthened with time along with growing concern and understanding..Abhijeet having Vivek's back during missions, Vivek standing in support of Abhijeet to being partner in crimes in pulling Freddy's leg..Vivek patting Abhijeet's shoulder on Daya's death in 'Behrupiya', holding his hand tight when he was on stature in 'Abhijeet in coma', Abhijeet's concern for Vivek and his quick reactions for saving Vivek during AKAKR finale are among the most Memorable moments..even though Vivek is no more a part of CID,but their bond is still cherished and missed.

Abhijeet-Tasha's bond is almost towards the professional side. Tasha had immense respect for Abhijeet and used to be the first junior to take stand for him as seen in SR.inspector Abhijeet. Their aren't much instances shedding light on the personal bond they shared but as professionals, they made a great pair.

A friendly relationship existed between Asha and Abhijeet. The only woman officer till date to have had the distinction to call the two officers by their name Abhijeet , Daya and sir was a formality of respecting rank and nothing more.

Abhijeet and Purvi share a strong professional bond and have a good personal bond as well. When Purvi joined, she would often work with Abhijeet and continues to do so today. Both have saved each other on numerous accounts, which has only strengthened their bond. When FW introduced a love story between Daya and Shreya, Purvi was the only one to know what Abhijeet was doing for Daya and she kept quiet out of respect for Abhijeet, which Abhijeet acknowledged, thus establishing their personal bond.

Apart from the above, Abhijeet shared a great professional bond with Sachin, Vineet, Rajat, Anushka, Muskaan, Deviyana. He has helped them in their hard times. He guided them as an ideal senior.

From the beginning, whether it is Manu (Case of Missing Father, 1999), Vikram (2005 few episodes), Shreya (Nanhi Gawah, 2009), Daksh (Raaz Bad Uncle Ka, 2012), Sia (Abhijeet Ke Inteqaam, 2012), or Anya (Karo ya maro 5, 2016) Abhijeet shares wonderful bonding with the kids.

Special mention to deaf & dumb orphan Shreya. Abhijeet shares special bond with her in Nanhi Gawah episode & in the end he wants to adopt her but her uncle comes to take her. Abhijeet argues with ACP & Daya but they don't permit Abhijeet to adopt her. 5 years later she becomes in trouble due to her uncle but Abhijeet along with CID team save her. At last Abhijeet adopts her.

Abhijeet still remains the enigma whom all want to solve or understand yet few can get close to have even a couple of questions answered. His dedication to his job and his proximity to ACP Pradyuman and Daya puts him always in the line of fire. Many a times he has played with his life to get at the truth. Viruses, bombs, headaches have never been successful in deterring him from executing his job honestly and with lan.As The ACP said it once, Abhijeet manages to prove his worth in spite of hundreds of Agniparikshas that he has had to face till date. He has come out of it every time, untouched, unmoved. And who better than Aditya Srivastava could portray this dark yet subtle, brilliant yet challenged by fate character of Sr.Inspector Abhijeet? Its very rightly said, Actors don't choose characters, rather characters choose actors for themselves ! Sr.Inspector Abhijeet has Chosen the Master himself, Aditya Srivastava.

Nobody can successfully step into the shoes of a character without imbibing its soul into themselves the moment the director says "action". Literally, they more or less become that person for a short amount of time, fully understanding what the character is and what its personality is like. Often, a good amount of research and more than large amount of rehearsals and takes are required to bring out the desired performance. With all the factors combined, it is a physically and psychologically stressful experience.
The fact that Aditya Srivastava not only has such a vast range of strikingly varied characters under his belt, but has done them with surprising ease and touching humility, goes on to show that he deserves every bit of the enormous respect he's earned from his ever-growing fan-base and why he's one of the most versatile, talented, artistic and underrated gems in the Indian film and television scenario.

I was not sure what I felt,
Nor was I sure about tomorrow,
Where it would land me up in,
Still I knew I had something in me, from none I can borrow.

I was not sure how I took the task
Yet I believed I could accomplish.
A task not so easy, of a cop
Now the same role, I relish.

Post playing as a vile and vicious one
I knew I could do this too, alright.
With my hopes and prayers, I set my foot
To play the role in Stolen Dynamite.

Quite easy as then the seed was planted.
Little I knew that the roots would grow deep
I gave my soul, my heart to the work I did.
For I knew, I would never let it fall steep.

Here I am now, in that chosen path
Where I was destined to plant my feet,
To tread on and carve my own way. And now,
I see Abhijeet in me and me in Abhijeet!

There was a time when a young boy from Allahabad had shifted to Delhi for making a career in theatres. His destiny brought him to Mumbai very soon and the next big thing that happened was an offer to enact the role of a cop in a show named CID. However amusing the character be, it was just to be a matter of some days that he would have been essaying that role. Little did he know that fate had some other plans for him! Little was he aware that the character would become a new identity for him in the coming years!

The character was that of "Senior Inspector Abhijeet", a valiant CID officer who never feared a challenge. Somebody, who wouldn't mind facing a hundred goons all by himself, was what represents Senior Inspector Abhijeet. Needless to say, that with sheer smartness and courage, he would of course come out of it victorious. But then something happened that changed his life once and for all. A group of unidentified criminals attacked him and left him in a state close to death. Although thanks to the ACP and his then subordinate Daya, his life was saved, but he wasn't really alive any more. A man who had lost his memory completely and when all the attempts to gaining it back had failed, one wouldn't call his condition to be "alive"! To an extent that the lady who called herself his mother, dies with the disheartening feeling that his own son doesn't recognize her, one is bound to feel sorry for his own self.

As difficult it might sound, essaying the character of Abhijeet, Mr.Aditya Srivastava has been absolutely flawless since its inception. The transition from Aditya to Abhijeet was just a matter of time! The very first episode "The Case of Stolen Dynamite" aired exactly 15 years ago, saw the astounding actor stepping into the shoes of the helpless officer Abhijeet. Helpless he might seem to others, the episode goes on to show how he continues to possess the qualities of a diligent cop that he used to be before the incident. ACP Pradyuman notices how Abhijeet still possessed the courage that made him stand out among all other officers and decides to re-appoint him in CID all over again. This is how, Abhijeet started with a new beginning in his life. Or shall we call it the rebirth of Inspector Abhijeet?

Ironically, the episode was aired on July 21. This is the very same day that is celebrated as Aditya Srivastava's birthday. Was it a mere coincidence or something more than that, we do not know. All that we know is that the role that Aditya Srivastava was about to play for the next few days only, went on to continue for more than 15 years and still counting. Today, Abhijeet is just another name that Aditya Srivastava doesn't mind being referred to. He has given his 15 years to Abhijeet, has lived his life, has seen his ups and downs himself, has found a home outside home, a family who has been by his side through thick and thin. Abhijeet and Aditya, although different from each other, remain incomplete without one another.

Yaad hai aaj bhi gujra hua woh kal mujhko
Ek ajnabi ki tereh mila woh jis pal mujhko
Kehne ko toh wo sirf ek kirdaar tha naya
Jisko nibhaane ka mauka kismet ne mujhe diya.

Na jaane kya tha usme jo is dil ko bha gaya
Aur dheere-dheere jaise main usme samaa gaya
Yun toh nibhaaye aur bhi kirdaar maine magar
Uski daastan thi auron se zara hatkar.

Seene me tha toofan uske aankhon me ek kashish thi
Farz ke naam per mit jaana, bus ek yehi khwaaish thi.
Uljha hua tha wo ateet ki dhundli yaadon mein
Kuchh anjaane rishton mein kuchh mushkil haalaton mein.

Sachchai aur imaandari ki ek misaal tha who
Saahas aur soojh-boojh me bhi kamaal tha who
Uska her ehsaas mujhe apna sa lagne laga
Phir to jaise woh mujhme, aur main usme dhalne laga.

Yun toh mile the hum bus kuchh hi din ke liye
Per dekhte hi dekhte barson guzar gaye
Socha nahi tha ek din aisa bhi aayega
Jab naam uska meri pehchaan ban jaayega.

Yunhi saath uske jeevan ka safar tay karta gaya
Aur har din us kirdaar me ek naya rang bharta gaya
Nibhaaya nahi balki maine jiya hai uski zindagi ko
Uske her imtehaan ko,har ghum ko har khushi ko.

Yun toh humdono hain ek duje se kaafi juda
Phir bhi jaane kyun lagta hai jaise wo aksh hai mera
Meri bhi thi chaahat kuchh karoon desh ki khaatir
Auron ke liye jiyun aur maroon desh ki khaatir

Usne meri har dabi khwaaish ko poora kiya
Kayi khoobsurat rishte diye,ek naya parivaar diya
Usse milkar to jeene ke maayne badal gaye
Manzilen badal gayi,raaste badal gaye.

Auron ke liye beshaq woh hoga Abhijeet
Per mujhko toh wo mera hi ek roop hota hai prateet
Ab toh uske bina jaise meri pehchaan adhoori hai
Aur uske zikr se hi hoti meri kahaani poori hai.

So here, we focus 7 best reasons for which maximum people love him most 😉

Why suddenly 7 only ? 😕

He was born in July, 7th month 😛

"Beauty doesn't last forever, but a beautiful personality does!"

I stare at you with awestruck eyes
And I feel from my heart
Freshwater from its melting ice
From your sheer warmth

And then you smile wide
Almost grin like a lovely kid
Casting your popularity aside
Humble you live yet charm exuding

You could have been the prince
Dressed exquisite with maids fleeting
But simplicity is thy name I rise
In thy name I salute and aspire to reach

From the golden ball of fortune
Earned from severe struggle
To have us seen you is a lilting tune
Of happiness that will last forever

Though your sway has royal extravaganza
Your love is straight , simple and true
I extend your hand in warmth
And I need no more in life

What more can I attribute to you
Than that you're the best actor ever
And the best man chivalrous , lovable
And your personality the step to strive for

Though your career has been dotted with negativity
When I see you and hear you I realize
That I know no one more respectful to the ladies
And a daughter you beckon us

You talk no more about yourself
You shy away from the flashing camera lights
But well isn't that justified ?
The brightest diamond is found in the darkest of mines!

They shine like a beacon of truth and hope
In a world tainted with the darkness of crime
For enemies, full of rage beyond any scope
Leaving no doubt, of justice it's now time
For the innocent and close, they twinkle and shine
Gentle and merciful like the morning skies
With their charm and magic our hearts they entwine
My humble tribute to his angel and killing eyes!

[courtesy - DemonStar]

When we look into his eyes, we tend to lose our thought ! ☺️

Look into his Angel eyes
One look and you are hypnotized
He will take your heart and you must pay the price
Look into his Angel eyes
You will think you are in paradise
And one day you will find out he wears a disguise
Don't look too deep into his Angel eyes
Crazy about his Angel eyes
Once he took my heart and now I pay the price!

[Lyrics taken from ABBA Angel Eyes song]

So, Don't look too deep into those Angel eyes!😉

His smile is so adorable & addictive. Its million dollar smile. Its drop dead smile. He kills thousands of fans everyday with his smile! ☺️

Oh no. Don't smile. You'll kill me 🤢
I fear the Grim Reaper, like hell he is. See? 😉
Once drew nigh to adobe, Ne'er catechizes for Tea 😆
Conducts our soul to afterlife unescorted by fee 😃

All being Urban myth; but your simon pure smile 😊
Catches me red handed by pink elephants each while
It grosses over Bouquets and adulation from local and exile 😛
You flash it on screen and we are to this place; Immobile...😉

[courtesy - saman]

The voice that enthralls millions,
The voice of wisdom, purity and command
So commanding like the army chief,
No doubt he is, of all the hearts, the thief
Can anyone wrong in identifying it?
Nor can any deny such a thing, amazingly indulging
That very voice can make a change,
Any change for the voice, to him, is a gift!

His voice makes us tremble inside. 😳
Do you want to feel it ? 😉 Then check the following link 😳

If Versatility could be personified
If Perfection could be exemplified
None other but Aditya Srivastava could be proclaimed
As the epitome of versatility famed!

Pita-samaan varishth ka sirr ooncha karnewaala ek qabil beta,
Anaath bachchi ko dil se sahaara dene waala ek pita;
Aurat ka har mushkil mein saath dene waala ek pati,
Kitna bakhoobi nibhaate hain aap har woh naata...!!

Ek imaandaar inspector ki aankhon mein bhadakte sholay,
Ek dost ke liye aseem pyaar aur vishwaas;
Ek aatankwaadi ke dil mein palti tabaahi ki aag,
Desh ki suraksha mein tainaat ek senaadhikaari ki aas...

Ek aam aadmi ka burai se ladhne ka prann,
Ek khatarnaak aparaadhi ke kaanpte hue haath;
Dard ke aansoo, kabhi pyaari si muskuraahat,
Waqaalat kar ke kabhi sach toh kabhi jhooth ka saath...

Dil chhoo jaati hai aap ki har woh adaa,
Apni anokhi awaaz, apne har shabd se aap har roop sajaate hain;
Kahaani mein aap ka yogdaan chahe bada ho ya chhota,
Har kirdaar ko aap apna bana jaate hain...!!

Humaari shubh kaamnaayein humesha aap ke saath rahengi,
Aap apne hazaaron rang hum par yun hi barsaate rahein;
Aap ki khoobsoorat adaakaari dekhne ke avsaar
Humaari zindagi mein baar baar aate rahein...!!

How can one give almost 60 expressions in 1 minute ? 😲
Aditya Srivastava can! ☺️

In some faces they have the charm they say
To captivate, to enrapture , to entrap and still
The hearts of millions in one hold
One such is thine, Oh God of Acting

Mostly you are the strict, commanding senior
Yet you manage to convey the subtle touches of sentiment
Always the faithful friend, talking with eyes, all things
In the Universe, And for one a son, inseparable
Resisting, Giving in and loving infinitely.

And once in while a funny side, that makes
My sides ache in memory, Your serious humour
Does such wonders with all that those eyes
Convey, Disguises are not just draping cloth,
But diving into the skin within seconds minute
And once in a while, the angry young man
Burning like untempered steel, makes beads of sweat form too.

And in one such times , a hardened criminal, but with force
Who later turned in a witness,Such torture, fear show in your eyes
But yet you struggled to live, opposing in bravado those who
Entrapped you to violate law, crossing its narrow seams
The gullible Badshah Khan

And then , a Police Inspector, fighting the law and
Protecting his love, fiercely, his anger flares, like lightning
Strikes, The society shuns thee, but none he let
Touch his pure love, the man of character, yet great temper
The man who all sought to love, Avinash

The guy on the highways, abducting girls
Once like the iron , hard and unmalleable, then
Melts in the showers of love, complicated
Fighting his emotions like they were his enemies, gives in
For extreme innocence is then revealed
One character immortal, Vijay

Grey shaded , a political victim and a leader
Throwing his dice, in utmost intelligence, yet
The unfailing brother, tender, whose victory is attained
Quiet, furious, calculative and yet Loving,
The Hundred shades of Grey- Karan

A driven criminal by circumstances forbidden,
Lays in the lap where his best friend and victim lay
But endearing brother, for his once living sister
Understanding that forgiveness requires much strength than murder
Finally agreeing to surrender, and fearing death
Soon collapsing in surrender, in a heaven, with a mother to grieve
Heart wrenching and yet starkly real, Rashid Gul

To describe your roles, emotions, infinity is less
For the journey has not been conventional nor stereotyped
Expressions delivered to perfection, finessed by strength
The positive as powerful as the negative
The smile as disarming , as the anger heart thundering
It is not without weight that your emotions fly
You know what effect it has on us, don't you?
Oh Master of Expressions, dear Adi Sir?😳

Woh hai ek shaqs hum sab ke liye hi khaash hai jo
Yun toh hai door lekin phir bhi dil ke paas hai jo
Woh jiske chehre par koi khuda ka noor hai jaise
Jiski qaabiliyat ko dekh dil magroor hai jaise
Hain jiske phun ke sab qaayal woh ek phunkaar hai aisa
Nibhaa paaye na jo wo kaun sa kirdaar hai aisa?
Woh chaahe toh fanaa karde apni qaatil nigaahon se
Aur madhosh karde apni un dilkash adaaon se
Hai apne naam ki terah hi roshan shaqsiyat unki
Sharaafat, saadgi aur wafaadari hai milqiyat unki
Hai kaafi ek jhalak jinki dil ko bahlaane ke liye
Ek muskuraahat hai bahut har ghum bhulaane ke liye
Na jaane kaisa juda unse yeh rishta chand saalon mein
Ab toh shaamil hain wo har pal apne khwaabon-khayaalon mein
Kaash ki apni ye deewangi ab na kabhi ho kam
Unke didaar bas yunhi hame hote rahen hardum...

Stealthily you crept inside my heart
Where no one even sneaked in the past
Neither you knocked, nor you called
You just came, sat and kept my breath on hold
How it happened, I wonder till date
Gradually, on which I pounce, you became that bait
You started reigning my thoughts
And I began liking you a lot

Today, your fiery eyes don't scare me
Instead, have become the mirror that I want to see
Your flying hairs entangle my grey matter
Your single gesture is enough to make me flatter
Your gentlemanly demeanour teaches me to be grounded
Your every performance leave me astounded
Your magnificent smile delightens me every time it shows up
Your husky voice electrifies and charges me up.

Your dexterity on the gun is treat to eyes
With every act your stature only rise
When you look into the camera, my heart skips a beat
Your murderous looks always radiate killing heat
You seldom turn up at social gatherings
But when you appear, I subconsciously, start to sing
Your sharp answers, my ears have got accustomed to
Your bewitching expressions, I tend to lose into

When you grimace in pain, my heart aches
My heart beats diminish when your life is at stake
When you cry, I too weep
I get worried when you collapse in a heap
When you laugh, my world gets enlightened
Your strong confrontation to life help my faith to tighten
When you disguise, I could see but not find you
Versatility, to this extent resides in you.

Today, you seem to be the world to me
The ocean, in which I like drowning in
The star, that shows me light in the dark
The enchanter, who, on me, has carved a permanent mark
The magnet, that attracts all and sundry
The artist who is always hungry
Fascinating as a rainbow, dangerous as a whale
Your charm is something that can never stale.

Sahara Samay Interview

INTERVIEW OF ADITYA SIR ON INDIA FM

"The kind of personality I have, if I am there in a lead role, a film cannot be 100% mainstream" - Aditya Srivastava

By Joginder Tuteja, December 8, 2006 - 06:51 IST

In an age of popular films coming week after week and breaking the record of the last blockbuster in the way, there comes a small film like Dil Se Pooch,Kidhar Jaana Hai that takes an offbeat approach and narrates the tale of a couple that got separated post infamous Mumbai riots and met again in diverse circumstances. We get into an exclusive conversation with the male lead of the film, Aditya Srivastava, who has shown his mettle as a character actor in films like Bandit Queen, Dil Se, Satya, Ek Haseena Thi,Matrubhoomi and Dansh in the past.

You seemed to have a great start with films like Bandit Queen [1996], Dil Se [1998] and Satya [1998]. Why have you been not so high profile on the big screen even after being there for more than a decade?
Well, I mainly look for interesting roles and interesting scripts. This is why I was there in films like Ek Haseena Thi,Deewar and most recently Dansh but then yes, they have been far and few. A lot of my time goes in my serial CID on television and hence until and unless I get to play a very special character, I do not really crave to be there on the big screen.

So is your character that special in Dil Se Pooch & Kidhar Jaana Hai?
Yes, thats true. The film has a backdrop of Mumbai riots and revolves around the characters played by me and Vani Tripathi. Both of us play husband and wife who get separated after the riots. What happens when we meet after years forms the crux of the situation. The irony is that while I am a cop, my wife is now a prostitute. How both of us decide to be together while being scared about the society and the fight that begins henceforth is the underlining drama in the film.

Sounds rather interesting.
Yes, it is! Because while so many stories are told about people who died or got injured in the riots, there are so many terrible stories about people who were indirectly affected by these riots. Dil Se Pooch narrates the tale about two such people.

But don't you think that a film with a subject like this needs to be promoted well for its target audience?

Yes, but then I may rather not comment on the films publicity. If my producers feel that they can get the movie in theaters after a 2 week promotion then they have their reason about doing so. I am not really getting into the whys here and would just want the film to do well whenever it releases!

Whats the relevance of the films title considering the subject of the film sounds dark?
The idea is simple. Whenever you are on a crossroad, always listen to your heart. That's because the voice that comes from inside is never wrong. It never lies and always guides you well. This is what happens to the main characters in the film. When they are in crisis, they listen to the heart since it dictates what is right and wrong.

For the first time in your career, you play a lead role.

That's right and what an experience it was! In fact I was running away from the role but then it has turned out to be such an enriching experience in the end. Shrirang, the director of the film, had seen Satya and as per him, he had written the script keeping me in mind as the central protagonist. He was sure that he wanted to cast me in the role.

Most of your films have breached on being slightly offbeat. Is that intentional?
I won't say that I have a problem doing mainstream cinema. In fact I have been a part of such films like Lakshya or Deewar. But then let me be honest here. The kind of personality I have, if I am there in a lead role, a film cannot be 100% mainstream. It needs to have a subject which is different from what works as popular cinema. I can be cast as a villain in mainstream cinema but certainly not a hero.

Is that a reason why you played the role of an evil lawyer in Ek Haseena Thi?
True, the role was brief but was brought out pretty well. In fact I would also be seen as a villain in 2-3 Tamil films that I am doing.

And release of Black Friday should be another example of that, is not that so?
Yes, we all are quite relieved that the film would finally be seeing the light of the day after the Supreme Court judgment. With a Jan/Feb time frame for the film's release looking probable, Mid-Day [the film's producers] would be devising a publicity strategy for the film and bring it to the audience.

It could be a turning point in your career?
Dekhiye aasha to nai hi rehti hai! There have been number of films that I have done with acclaimed directors in the past and I really believe that Black Friday by Anurag Kashyap would make its mark too.

So what next after Dil Se Pooch and Black Friday?

There is a film titled Raakh which I have done with director Hansal Mehta. It is a film in a complete commercial format with Sohail Khan and Mithun Chakraborty. I play a villain in the film. Beyond that I would be also be doing a film calledMohandas with Mazhar Kamran who is an established cinematographer. And no, before you start wondering, film Mohandas has nothing to do with Gandhi!!

Kaalo Movie Interviews

There are numerous reviews & articles on Aditya Srivastav & it is impossible to post all the articles & reviews...so only few reviews with relevant portion posted here...😃

'The Killer' gang has a breather before the shoot

[Anupreet SandhuPosted: Fri Feb 19 1999 IST]

PANCHKULA, Feb 18:
Aditya Srivastava and Niki Aneja, would play the lead roles for the first episode of the serial - "The End", which will be shot at Kufri. The two were camping in the township at the residence of a friend on their way for the shoot.
Aditya is the new actor who hit the Silver screen with his role as the first husband of Phoolan in the "Bandit Queen", besides playing the fiery Inspector in "Satya".
Produced by Felix Sequeira and directed by Rajesh Ranasingle, the serial's first episode "The End" revolves around a psychopath woman (Niki), who saves a writer (Aditya) injured in an accident...
Meanwhile, Aditya who has already done roles which demand sheer gravity of performance, considers cinema as the ultimate goal of an actor. Coming from Allahabad, he started off his career with an amateur theatre in Allahabad and later moved on to the Sri Ram Centre at New Delhi where he was spotted by Shekhar Kapoor for his "Bandit Queen". From then on, his journey in films went on. Aditya has also acted in tele-serials like - 9, Malabar Hills and Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti.

An interview of Anurag Kashyap and the making of 'Black Friday'

Anyways, while writing the script few actors i always had in mind..the ones who didn't have to audition..I wanted KK to play Rakesh Maria..Naseeruddin Shah to play Tiger memon and Irrfan to play Badshah Khan..Aditya Srivastava was to play Dangle..Nowazzuddin to play Asgar Mukadam and Pankaj jha to play theba and Dubyendu bhattacharya to play yeda yaqub..Siddhu was the only choice for samra..We got some..others we didn't..Naseer dropped out because he did not want to play a muslim terrorist ..it was a very sensitive time then..Gujrat was burning..and you know how in times like that anybody could have stood up and said anything..Its a funny country..same reason why Irrfan dropped out..Irrfan said he had no issues to play Rakesh Maria..that put us into a sticky situation..the finance was raised by selling these three actors together for the first time..the financiers were pressurising us to interchange the casting of badshah khan and rakesh maria..they also told me i had a KK bias..i tried to show them how KK had a close resemblance to Rakesh Maria..when pressure got too much..i put my foot down..AM stood by me..we got away...Now if not Irrfan then who for Badshah khan..i immediately thought of Aditya Srivastava..but i had to show them why i thought so..i hesitantly requested Aditya to audition for Badshah..he had no problems, and was very sporting..sometimes it gets embarrassing..an actor you have worked with and appreciated twice before, you ask him to audition..he rocked..i knew it..

Aditya Srivastava's Black Friday

By Surendra Hiwarale [ February 11, 2007 at 11:39 am]

The film started and I was taken into the entire conspiracuy of the bomb blasts. Aditya Srivastav aka Badshah Khan was known to me as we had worked with him in Ek Haseena Thi before. Before that my memories of him were of the straight forward honest cop that he played in RGV's Satya. When I was watching it I was constantly pulled in by his performance. Never ever did I loose a single frame whenever he was on screen. What I had liked about the film was its innocent approach towards justifying what happened. And three cheers to Anurag he managed to achieve it.

Its interval, Aditya Srivastav is no doubt my hero, KK still I do not like. We have chai, cigrettes, samosa's, and go back again. The film begins, Pawan too has had an impact on me and he is consistent even today. Aditya I like much more than yesterday. He rocks; I start to feel after Amitabh Bachchan he is the one who has the caliber when it comes to performing.

I can never be wrong in my judgement. As the film unfolds, I am reminded of the scenes that I know. Aditya Srivastav makes me further respect him as the most convincing Badshah Khan. I love you boss as an actor. Whether, it's his gradual progression when he realizes that he has been cheated by Tiger Memon. Jusy check him out in the scene where Theba (I think) tells him that their passports have been burnt. The fight that ensues there, immediately the next cut is of Aditya standing in the bathroom and guys the way he has performed actually made me feel that, this is how real Badsha Khan must have felt. It's so touching.. the scenes where he is constantly trying to speak with Tiger Memon, where in he keeps asking him to move him from Bombay, and his conctant trips to Rampur to jaipur to tonk to again jaipur to Calcutta are amazingly performed, I just loved the way Anurag has designed his emotional graph, which ultimately leads to his coming back to Rampur Badshah Khans native place. It was so well done. Badshah Khan surrenders, his first meeting with Maria, and him finally trying to turn the state approver just makes you feel bad for not only him but for all the boys who were a part of conspiracy. Aditya's track gets over and so does chapter three.

Off Bollywood - A breed of young actors chooses variety in portfolio over superstardom and money[Track-II Heroes]

Aditya Srivastava: Black Friday, Satya

...And they aren't the only ones on the Bollywood horizon'actors like Ranvir Shorey, Deepak Dobriyal, Prroshant Narayanan, Aditya Srivastava, etc are all bringing fresh vitality, vigour and also money and success to the alternate, small film movement in the country.

"Opportunities for us are increasing," says Aditya Srivastava, seen recently as Badshah Khan, Tiger Memon's henchman on the run in Anurag Kashyap's Black Friday.

Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar! A bittersweet life By Hansal Mehta

...After much hesitation and awkwardness, my worst fears came true. Manoj refused the film. He wanted to be part of a much bigger film. He wanted to support me but in a bigger endeavor. In despair I approached the very gifted and under-rated Aditya Srivastava for Manoj's role. Aditya agreed. The producer backed out...Aditya Srivastava showed no disappointment when I told him that Manoj would be doing the role offered to him. He accepted the role of Tito for a pittance. He even contributed money towards making the film. I think Tito is one of Indian cinema's most memorable characters. It was a great performance by a very magnanimous actor.

Twelfth year, caught in the same case!
[Smita Roy, TNN Mar 15, 2009, 12.12am IST]

Having done a host of critically acclaimed movies, from Bandit Queen, Dil Se, Ek Hasina Thi, Black Friday, Aditya Srivastav is now excited about Gulaal in which he's seen portraying grey shades.

Besides films, Aditya is a known face on TV. But, incidentally, he has never done any other show apart from CID. "This is the 12th running year and somehow it's more of an emotional bonding I have with the serial now," he says. But why isn't he seen in any other show? "I took up CID because I simply loved the concept of the show. Today, its the only one of its kind crime thriller on TV. Unfortunately, this genre has not been tapped too much on television and the bandwagon runs after saas-bahu sagas or reality shows, either of which I'm not really interested in. If apart from CID there's something that I like, it has to be the movies I do!"

But unlike his counterpart and good friend Kay Kay Menon, who also arose from television, Aditya has not yet received the kind of appreciation and roles that he might deserve. To this, he says, "I'm doing this serial for so many years now, that I feel it would be unfair on my part to leave it just for the sake of films. In the process of trying to juggle both TV and films, it becomes a little difficult as I've dedicated 20 days a month to the show. That leaves me with 10 days for meetings, script readings or shoots for my films. But now slowly I'm doing some time management so I can work more towards films. Hopefully things should happen and by God's grace, I get more and better work."

Few people know that recently he had done a film as a solo hero called Dil Se Pooch Kidhar Jaana Hai, which he modestly confesses didn't work well at the box office and he wasn't surprised, as the marketing was next to negligible. But then he believes, "One should keep trying. I'm trying my best and what happens or what would happen would definitely be for the best. I don't lose heart and by the way there's another movie releasing this year with me as the protagonist. It's a daylight horror and a one of its kind... just like my show!"

Abhijeet and Aditya sir both are same but yet different.

1. Abhijeet is an inspiring and dynamic onscreen character whereas Adi sir is one of the
greatest actors I've ever seen.
2. Abhijeet is outspoken, bold and confident whereas Aditya sir is shy and modest,
he always underestimates himself & his talent.
3. Abhijeet is angry young man 😉so sometimes he behaves rudely when he gets angry whereas the term "rude" doesn't exist in my Adi sir's dictionary😆, he is polite, gentle, down to earth and
too sweet. 😳
4. Abhijeet is extrovert whereas Adi sir is introvert.
5. Abhijeet always listens to his heart and always do whatever he thinks is right
whereas Adi sir is director's actor,he can never go against his director's wish even if he/she makes him look like a clown onscreen..

Abhijeet and Adi sir are different in many ways but still I love both of them.😳

Completely different.
Abhijeet is angry young Man, serious and more stylish than Adi sir while Adi sir is so soft spoken and shy😳

Aditya & Abhijeet both are handsome .
Both are little introvert . Both are perfect & sincere at the job.

Abhijeet ji v/s Aditya ji

Differences:

Similarities:

Abhijeet and Aditya duo are from the very first look seem very serious, calm, decent and mature person which impressed me very much in first glance.😃😃

When it comes to enjoyment, both loves to be little back foot or behind the scene. They love to express their joy and celebrate happiness only with their near and dear ones, not in public.😊

Both are truly dedicated to their work. Both Abhijeet and Aditya are hardworking and 100% honest. Very strong in placing their logic in any matter.⭐️⭐️

They both are rarely smiles😛 (I know I know actually not. Lekin dekh dekh ke dil nehi bharta, bechara dil😳😳) Aditya Srivastav's off screen smiley photo!!!! OML!!!! The most awaited moment for me always. When Abhijeet smirks on something or passes a smiley chuckle or Aditya Srivastav laughs in any interview may be a soft smile or an affectionate warm appreciation for his colleague and suddenly burst in a small or whole hearted laughter, my heart skipped for a moment. 🤬It seems I can die even on his smile.😳

Abhijeet and Aditya both loves to take challenges. 👍🏼They always engage themselves into some experiments.😃 In case of disguise and acting!!!! Ahhh!🤗 I am speechless. Master of expression. 👏Definition of versatile acting. 😳The perfect waves of voice. 😃The smooth style of dialogue throwing. His eyes... Hayyy hayyy...☺️ Let me dream for a moment. I always love to be shameless staring at him... his expressive eyes or his magnetic smile.☺️☺️

Damn hot and handsome both Aditya Srivastav and Abhijeet are.☺️

In any tough situation when Abhijeet jokes seriously, pulls Freddie's leg... Ah! What a moment. As well as Aditya sir. ❤️Very nice sense of humor. ⭐️

Both are friendly, kind and helpful person, believe in simplicity. It should be perfect if I use the world famous phrase SIMPLICITY AT ITS BEST for both Aditya and Abhijeet.😃😃

Abhijeet is a real fighter. In spite of a dreaded past, he manages well a respectful life and dedicates himself to serve his nation. He is one of the pillars of his team, the trusted most officer of his boss, the closest soul of his best friend and beyond blood relation brother, the strict but helpful and witty senior. A good mentor and daredevil leader of his juniors Abhijeet is.❤️❤️

Rather brought up in a strict well cultured Awadhi family struggling to set his career lastly Aditya Srivastav becomes a brand name today. One of the most powerful Indian television actors to Indian off-bit movies... An off shade ordinary poor village man and a bechara husband in Bandit Queen to a shocking vibrant role in Matrubhoomi to South Indian film Naalai or Alwar to his charismatic presence in Satya, Deewar, Black Friday, Dil Se Pooch... Kidhar Jana Hain... list is too long to discuss! Yes without the versatile talent none can smoothly rule over different experimental roles with 1000% success in all fields.🤗

Respect to Aditya Srivastav that he always prefers a low profile life though actually he is a glittering star in Indian acting industry.😎 His down to earth humble attitude is one of the key ingredients of his center of attractions as well his sharp skills.⭐️

In case of Abhijeet, I feel its Aditya sir's one of the best creations ever in which daily soaps or movies he works till now.👍🏼Production house may select an actor, writer may create a character and script-writer may put language on his mouth. But it's the actor who pours the drops of life in that character's existence. 😊And here he succeeds. ⭐️A 19 years history created show like CID, Abhijeet is an inseparable part. Its Aditya sir himself who day by day nurtured this character with immense effort and result is here before us.😃😃

Today sometimes we love to forget even the man behind Abhijeet. We love to be in glamorous aura of Abhijeet only 😲😲as if he is a real person on earth not a character created by FW writer team and played by a magnificent actor named Aditya Srivastav!😳😃

Aditya sir rocks... Always... whether he is Abhijeet or Aditya.😳😳 He is the true ruler of my heart.☺️ I love to announce I am a proud Adityan... always... Whether he works as a terrorist in Dil Se or Abhijeet in CID or a military person in Lakshya.

The dark shade of the character Abhijeet, his hazy past, the mysterious background, the solid rock hard soul to fight against all the odds, the capability of smile even stands in the middle of pain... Are some of the reasons I fell in love of Abhijeet many years back. ☺️His caring attitude, his coolness, his dedication, his talent...😃 Each and everything is captivating.⭐️⭐️

After that when I discovered the man behind Abhijeet... When I knew about Aditya Srivastav also some years back... Level of my respect jumped at top no doubt.⭐️⭐️ Hats off to him.❤️❤️

If someone tells me being honest I would like to choose a novel to depict my feelings for Aditya or Abhijeet. 😃😃But as I am not asked for that, 😉only for some words and feeling I am long enough this time with my stuff...😳 I am going to finish it once again wishing my reason of smile the great actor Aditya Srivastav and my dashing angry cutie pie Abhijeet... a stupendous Birthday.⭐️⭐️

Love you sir Aditya and my dream hero Abhijeet. 🤗Rule my heartbeats like this forever.☺️

It is really very difficult to say about a person whom we know less. I don't know much about Aditya sir but I have certain perceptions based on what I know. And I would like to give my point of view in a precise manner.
Similarities between Aditya and Abhijeet are:

i) Both respect their seniors.
ii) Both share a good sense of humour.
iii) Both are hard working and sincere.
iv) Both are trustworthy.
v) Both are respected very much.
vi) Both are ready to take risks.

Maybe my point of view is much influenced by Abhijeet but I can say some qualities suit for Aditya too.

Differences:
i) Aditya sir is calm and reserved whereas Abhijeet mingles with everyone soon.
ii) Abhijeet is an angry young man and Aditya sir is a cool person.
iii) Aditya makes choices but Abhijeet is ready for everything.
iv) Aditya is a humble and down to earth person. Abhijeet has neither superiority complex nor inferiority complex. He just does what he feels right.
Both have good qualities. I don't know about their negative qualities. Moreover Aditya and Abhijeet are interconnected.

Aditya and Abhijeet are same, but different in a manner that the former is the person who plays the latter, well now that's not the point. The point I'm trying to say is while Abhijeet portrays a part of Aditya in being a selfless, resilient and humble human, a part of the character Abhijeet has surely been etched into him which is his friendship with Daya sir. While the angelic eyes of Aditya sir reflects the gentle heart within, one stare of Abhijeet can make you wince as though you're in a physical pain. So, yeah. That answers much of it.

Aditya is a laid back guy but Abhi is an ever-alert cop. Aditya is somewhat shy and introverted, one who even hesitates to shake hands with a female fan, unlike Abhijeet who can walk into a lady's home and say 'hi honey'. 😉

Aditya is an awesome actor and Abhi too is a master of disguises. Aditya has created Abhijeet and Abhijeet contains some of Aditya's characteristics plus a few which have been added by him to make Abhijeet endearing to his fans.

Leonardo Da Vinci : Monalisa : : Aditya : Abhijeet.

Simple as that.

Differences between Abhijeet and Aditya sir are :-

1) Abhijeet in serial is unmarried but Aditya sir is married in real :I
2) Abhijeet in serial sometimes suffer from short term memory loss but in real he has sharp memory.
3) Abhijeet in serial as a cop gets rough and tough with criminals but In real he can't get angry with anyone.

The same face I see, almost everyday, behind a glass screen and wish to see the man without a barrier of that screen. Fans try to capture the maximum of him, to keep a record of every film, every serial, every character related to him. Photographs are shared and liked; thousands of comments make them popular. The world of his fandom brought together many people, from country and abroad...we talked and we became friends. But there always remained a common interest- to know more about the man I'm talking about- Aditya Srivastava.

Over the years, I saw many faces of his in the innumerable movies and serials he did, and of course, the show that glued me to him for the first time. The director named him Abhijeet and he became Senior Inspector Abhijeet for all of us. It took me many years to know what his real name is. It took me some more years to see a piture of his off screen; and yet more to see him speak off screen in the form of videos that the lucky fans share, who get to meet him.

As a habit, I used to sit in front of the TV every Friday at 10 p.m., until a few months back, and watch CID. He comes and performs his role, without a tinge of Aditya Srivastava in him, except the face, that goes out of his hands to be changed. The only image I had of him was that of Abhijeet- a tough, serious and yet a softhearted cop. Then came the day when I discovered this forum and came to know that there are numerous fans like me, who has finished infinite number of pages only on appreciating and adoring him. This was a treasure. In no time, I had gone through his past and present. I read fans meeting him in person; I saw his videos when he acted as Abhijeet, when he gave interviews. Over the time, more and more photographs were shared and I felt to know more about him.

A time came when I started comparing Abhijeet with Aditya. They shared the same face, the same height. However, even after being same in the two things people normally use to characterize a person, I found them completely different as person. When I see Abhijeet, he seem to look directly into the eyes even from behind the glass barrier- the fire in those deep eyes be clearly felt by the viewer, whereas Aditya's eyes seem to be like the cold and calm river that provides a sooth to everybody around. When I read or watch his off screen self, I find Aditya a man with more patience and calm than Abhijeet is. Aditya likes to listen, judge, and then speak. Abhijeet would mostly do the same too, as far as he is not in a bad mood. Once he is...well, we all know what happens then- he speaks, make others listen and give a final verdict straightaway.

I saw an old episode where he was blamed for something he didn't do. He showed anger, argued the head and left the bureau. His friend had to come and convince him to get back. As I see the newer episodes, I clearly felt the change in characterization of the cops, and Abhijeet was one of them. Sometimes we discussed on the forum why Aditya doesn't speak against it to the creators. Then I think; might be this is because Aditya is not Abhijeet. As much we know, he is a person who loves his profession but cannot say no' to people he is working with for so long. There certainly is a difference between Abhjeet and Aditya. This too is a difference. Abhijeet could speak and argue for himself and against something wrong. Aditya can only speak, not argue and fight. Unknowingly, I started to love him more. In the past few years however, I see Abhijeet tuning into Aditya. He too can't speak much against something wrong that he faces. This time it angered me against the persons responsible for this change.

Recently, I saw an interview of the team on a channel and got to know a new facet of him. The person, I always thought to be shy and silent was revealed a complete opposite. Aditya's collegues said he loves to pass comments and pull their legs and called him a Taana King'. Immediately, my mind ran to Abhijeet. Yes, he too has this habbit of pulling everybody's legs. This time the qualities match on- and off- screen. His friends have given him the correct name- Taana King'.

Also, both Abhijeet and Aditya have a skill to observe people and things around him. His eyes show that, both on the show and off it. Another thing that the two have in common is their eyes- what Abhijeet or Aditya is thinking can be seen in his eyes. This is the reason why his fans say that he has the most expressive eyes and fans cannot be wrong.

I see him on TV and see him in the pictures shared on social networking sites. His sitting postures, his standing style, that smile and easiness too remains the same. The only change that comes with the cameras on' and cameras off' is that he removes the coat of the coppish tough attitude once the camera is off and those heavy bright lights are off. He wears the coat back once these mechanical instruments and switched on. This is a single line in English but only the viewers know what a big difference they feel between watching Abhijeet and Aditya.

I find this analysis interesting. I try to find more similarities and differences between Aditya and Abhijeet. Sometimes I find them too. Most of them are minute differences. Everytime I find the differences, I wonder how he manages to remember and enact these minor differences from his own self to portray Abhijeet everytime the director says "Action. This may be difficult, but not for a versatile and protean actor like him.

Aditya and Abhijeet both are Smart, hansome, dashing and caring. Both have good sense of humour with adorable smile. Their Bonding with kids is remarkable. Both are very helpful and cooperative with their colleagues. Both are reserved. Abhijeet have great chemistry with Daya sir and Acp same as Aditya has with Dayanand sir and Satam sir. Both are great actors and can play different kind of roles. yet they are different Abhijeet is angry young man whereas Aditya is cool and calmed person. Abhijeet takes some drastic steps sometime but Aditya doesn't. Abhijeet shows his agressiveness on occasions but Aditya always seems satisfied whatever is going on. Biggest difference is Abhijeet is a fictional chracter created by Mr. BP Singh and Aditya is a real person created by God.

Definitely, Abhijeet is detatchable from Aditya. The two are destined to be bound together for the years to come. Aditya is the one who open heartedly accepted Abhijeet and gave life to a character which became real for audience. Abhijeet might not have been invented by Aditya but it's been created by him for sure. In short Abhijeet is from Aditya and thus has few mannerisms similar to Aditya.
Both are caring yet reserved. They know where to draw a line. They know how not to get excited on the every little thing and act accordingly. They are blessed with perseverance. However tough times may come, they will override those times without complaining and on their own. Be it delay and snapping of films or accusations on a Sr Inspector, they take everything to their stride. They both love to drink tea and are foodie. They carry a unique charm and have this dignified aura around them. They both are practical but highly emotional, a little hesitant at social events and showing up outside their work is not what they actually look upto.
For me, Abhijeet was Aditya in my initial days of CID but eventually, I very well understood the distinctiom between the two. While the one is soft, other is harsh. While the one is hot tempered, other is of 'shant swabhav'.
I love Abhijeet and respect Aditya. Abhijeet is my hero and Aditya, my inspiration. Abhijeet is a virtual character to which i have given realism in my world and Aditya is a man i have found ideal according to my imagination.
Both are flawed but are awesome the way they are. They are two yet one coz they are independent of the other yet so dependable on each other.

Aditya and Abhijeet both are same but yet so different.

Both of their names starts with A. Oh! I Love "A" ❤️❤️
They are self made person. They have a strong personality. Both have a charming smile, style and anytime can make anyone fall for them. They love kids a lot. Both are reserved kind of person but only with strangers.
Both have a great talent of acting. Aditya is a versatile actor and can fit himself in any kind of role that one can't say that he's acting but will think that it's real. Abhijeet is flawless in disguise scenes in CID that any criminal hardly can recognize him when he's in disguise.
Aditya and Abhijeet both are good in teasing. Their one liners are famous.😉

Though they have many similarities, they are very much different from each other. They both have strong but different personality.
Abhijeet is an angry young man where as Aditya is very humble and soft spoken.
Abhijeet is very much daring and have the gut to say anything on face. But Aditya speaks less and obey others. He hardly raises his voice.
Abhijeet can flirt with girls but Aditya is very shy.😆
Most importantly Abhijeet is a character created by BP Singh and Aditya himself. Aditya is God gifted☺️

Thanks a lot to Aditya for creating the character Abhijeet flawlessly and Allah for sending Aditya in this world🤗🤗

Happy Birthday Aditya Sir .
May you get success u deserve in the industry.

Hi Aditya sir,
I am a fan of you only from past few months. The first time when I saw you in a movie, I didn't have a good opinion on you, because of a rough and tough role you had done in that movie. The moment I saw you in CID, gave me a strange feeling. Everybody loves heroes and not villains. I didn't know that you are a hero being celebrated for more than a decade. In fact your experience in CID is my age. Media is doing much to popularize more Hindi serials in regional languages. When I saw you smile in a picture, God I have no words to describe. Who can smile like you? Just your smile made me to love you regardless of age, language, state or whichever thing differentiate you and me. Then I started to love each and everything you do. I found out a wonderful actor in you. The man I admire the most is you. I can see a good father in you. Distance may be long between us but you have captured me.
I love you so much. Who knew that one day I would become a fan of a show which is running for 18 years as my age? Thank you for giving us a wonderful show.
Wishing you a very happy birthday from the bottom of my heart. May God bless you the happiest life with good health and prosperity. You will always be surrounded with good people. My love for you will stay forever. I don't have any other gift with me other than my love.

With love,
Swathi.
