I can tell you from Mahakumbh experience that Siddharth is a very talented actor. In Mahakumbh he had to play the role of a savior who lost his Dad after he was kidnapped when he was 4. Then he went to live in a shamshan where he lost another man who he considered his Dad and because of that he ran away feeling that he was the cause of the deaths of those closest to him. His character had to portray a lot of anger, sadness, and hurt at the same time and Siddharth portrayed that really well through his eyes and facial expressions. Many times he didn't even need to utter one word for his emotions to come through. That's how good Siddharth was.

And he's really one of the reasons I'm watching this show.

That sounds brilliant and I must confess that I agree already.
Siddharth was fantastic tonight. He is portraying Ashoka with the right blend of arrogance and vulnerability. Fantastic kid.

Indeed. He was really good tonight. I was sorta apprehensive about his dialogue delivery but he is wonderful.

oh u spoke my mind😆 but I do appreciate that he is putting extra energy⭐️ - I somewhere appreciate overacting to underplaying, coz atleast a person is really trying 😉 hopefully he will find the right balance soon👍🏼

I'm really happy to say that I was wrong. His dialogue delivery is on point. He is playing the role with the perfect amount of casual arrogance necessary. I love his interpretation of Ashoka. Did you see the scene where he looks back at Koutilya from the Horse tonight? He is effortless. <3
I also like how he has added a flair of theatrics and showmanship to his Ashoka. I am extremely impressed so far.

yeah, oh so that was the reason why it was looking OTT in the promos - coz he was deliberately talking like that - for a play⭐️! loveee! the sequence was brilliantly conceptualized and even well executed - oh yes the turn towards chanakya from the horse with a crooked smile was bang on! 👏👏

I just dint like the overdose use of gymnastics - or rather the slow mo camera scenes there...but m loving the nautankibaaz and shrewd ashoka they are showing! interesting!
