Even if (by some stretch of imagination) , that was Sara's "master plan" to get some news (did she pay that guy to call Janhvi as Sara?) , this is such an overreaction from Janhvi's corner. It is vitriolic. They are not just commenting on Sara's work ethics but apparently saying she is set for failure because she inherited her mom's questionable professional choices.

How messed up it is though, that there is a star hierarchy even among the star kids .

Janhvi should fire whoever said all this.

Paps calling Jhanvi as Sara or Paps calling Deepika as Priyanka in international media - whoever's PR planted this article, needs to understand that it doesn't do any good to either parties, it not only means Paps don't know Jhanvi or DP, but also don't know Sara or PC 😆.

Bringing their mothers in the article is a cheap shot 😵.

The thing is - it isn't about the age. Deepika and Anushka were the same age as Janhvi when they debuted. But they had experience living alone or managing their finances or taking their own decisions (well, their parents didn't have any clue about films to decide for them) . Janhvi still gives me "school-going bacchhi" vibes with papa giving her pocket money and sending car to pick up and drop her everywhere. There are so many like her - I find that so .. normal in my world of people - but so rare in bollywood .

^ You need to be thick-skinned to survive in Bollywood. Honestly, I don't know if Janhvi is thick-skinned. It almost feels like her parents (first sridevi and now Bonney) are holding her hands and guiding her through bollywood, deciding everything for her... that's not necessarily a good thing. Also, she's never lived alone and has always been dependent on parents.

Sara, on the other hand, has been raised by single mother, gone to university in a different country and lived independently for many years so shes probably much more thick-skinned than Janhvi... and doesn't seem like her parents are making every decisions for her. Of course, they are there but probably don't have that much say in her decision.. this is the vibe I get from her 😊 .

Before people jump on me, of course both are privileged but one has always been protected and guarded, but the other one is much more independent. Time will tell though 😆.

What else? He is exactly being what Sridevi's mom was to her. Do you really think Janhvi is that confident to handle everything on her own? She has always been sheltered. Even Arjun spoke about the same thing. Janhvi herself said Boney approves what she has to wear for her appearances in some show. I don't think she is that independent to handle PR on her own. She herself spoilt Kjo's narrative of nepo kids by saying the truth on the day of trailer launch of Dhadak. In this video where they call her Sara, Janhvi actually smiles and says they are pulling her leg. If she would have had a problem she would react right? Upar se this article about Papa being pareshaan over Sara. So everything makes me look at Boney as a controlling dad and I don't think that makes Janhvi a synpathetic figure who we should feel sad for. She should make her own decisions.She is already 21.A grown up. In 2018. So she should stop letting her dad control her PR. This only makes Janhvi look immature more than anything else.

And anyways, right from Dhadak interviews till now it has ONLY been Boney who has taken Sridevi's name while saying something about Janhvi. She would only talk about her mom when asked but Papaji would randomly bring in Sridevi somehow to the picture and paint a dukhiyari narrative abt Janhvi. And even here, the article brings her mom yet again so I have all the reasons to point my suspicion to Papaji. He earlier used to control Sri and now his daughter.🤢 That India Today interview still makes me cringe!

She might be baachi but she took it too far imo. Nothing against her, but she wants to be managed

Yes, if this article was something she knew was coming and did nothing, it is terrible. Wanting to be managed is another issue - it is more like a personality trait with her and doesn't have to do anything specific with only her professional life. She will always want to be managed - even if Boney takes a step back few years later, she will expect Khushi to step in. After that, it will be her husband.

You just reminded me of something she said in a recent interview - about how both her sisters are always keeping an eye on her when they are vacationing because they are afraid she will wander off and get lost. She said she likes being babied and taken care of like that.
