I've followed every single Dhadak interview and interaction of Janhvu i and her team has done a FAB job of not letting her gain sympathy using her mom's name. Be it ABP News or some other channel, whenever they used to ask about Sridevi, her team from behind would ask them to change the question. They have presented her as an absolutely cordial debutant in front of everyone. What more does he want? Present Janhvi as someone who she clearly isn't?

Janhvi prefers not showing her emotional side in media events (she is more emotional and nostalgic in print interviews) and her PR backs her too by cutting off the media when they try asking probing questions about the last few months. Whereas Boney goes on about how the industry should back her because she is Sri's daughter, how so n so directors complimented her after Dhadak, and hints that she will carry forward her mom's legacy etc etc.

So I was wondering if another issue Boney might have with Janhvi's PR is this aspect too - him having no issues displaying his emotions and also reminding everyone of her privilege (which has tragic undertones now) but her PR and Janhvi not comfortable with it.

Oh , and I agree with a previous comment about him goading her into doing some things - like the random events and awards for her . Or the time when he was nudging her to finish saying some dialogues (or some poem) on the podium when she clearly forgot. Oh and no way it was a coincidence that the person who interviewed her and dad , Rumi Jaffrey is a close family friend - the father of Khushi's best friend.

He has always been the same with Sridevi as well in her public appearances. He would just not let her speak at all and start speaking himself when a question was asked to Sridevi. I remember once he actually got angry and walked away because the paps asked him to move aside in order to take only Sridevi's picture at an event. He is doing the same thing with Janhvi. That IFFI program was proof enough of how Janhvi appeared to be like a programmed robot with her dad by her side on stage. He has unfortunately become to Janhvi, what her Sri's mother was to her.

Wow he really is..something else.

No matter WHO your parents are you are your own person- they say.Let Jhanvi make her own decisions (good or bad, that's how she can learn and evolve- or not), showcase her acting and star quality... if she has it in her. Pushing her forward with: 'she'd Sridevi's daughter so she deserves everything' is just going to antagonise people.

I dislike controlling people. They freak me out.

I like to be free to make my own decisions, my own good/bad choices, deal with my own mistakes. My way.
