I was mildly interested in seeing Manisha Koirala's performance.
But I certainly wouldn't be rushing to the cinema to watch it.
I don't get a good vibe from this film.
Will they be glorifying his criminal past?
Spells disaster to me.

Dutt is his friend and the whole thing will be a whitewash job to show how sweet and simple and misunderstood he is, glossing over all the bad things or providing excuses for them. A real life Munnabhai.

A realistic and honest Dutt movie would need to be a lot darker and edgier which I highly doubt Hirani is even capable of. And he definitely would not have gotten permission to make his Sanju Baba look bad.

It's not a film about guns, drugs and the underworld. It's a feel-good film about a father-son relationship with Paresh Rawal playing Sunil Dutt and Ranbir as Sanju... A buddy film with Sanju's many friends adding up to one from the US, played by Vicky Kaushal, Raju informs.

This is how hirani described the film, he is making a buddy feel good film, so yeh it sounds like he is glossing over the bad things, I think they r showing dutt during his drug phase and jail, but overall it seems like a happy go lucky film making dutt seem like he was misunderstood and he is actually a wonderful person, they hav even shot some funny scenes Aswell, so I don't know how they can technically call this a biopic bout dutts life, it wud hav to be much more raw and realistic for it to be called a biopic, not a buddy feel good film
