In 90's, Aamir was rigidly perfectionist and would drive his co-stars and directors to tears by constant retakes. He took himself way too seriously. I was one of his biggest cheerleader but dear god he was pompous in those days.
Salman in contrast was very sweet and helpful. It is really sad to see him turn so vengeful. He was really nice co-star then. Bit brattish but fun. 😳

I know I really liked Salman back then. As for Aamir I couldn't stand him till mid 2000s when I grew up and learned to distance the actor from the craft.
