Precisely, its obvious the contributions are there.

And for those who believe she is making use of her "power"/bullying, the girl got full co-writer credit for Queen along with Anvita Dutt when she was a "nobody".

Kangana received credit for dialogues of Queen (which Asrani is happy to give her on Simran BTW). It is not apples to oranges. A persons character is shown by their actions. Kangana has and continues to repeatedly lie and self aggrandize. She claims she changed the story from a dark thriller to a light hearted comedy. He says it was a light hearted story when it came to her and therefore she is (shock & gasp) lying and self aggrandizing ... again.

Kangana didn't take sole credit for the mood change of the film, she said she sat with the team together "and tweaked the script to make it a slice-of-life comedy".

Well, no. He actually wasn't happy to give it to her and this whole ego blast happened after she was given additional credit on the film poster.

I finally gave into an additional writing credit, but only because they claimed their film would be stuck if I didn't do so. But I refused to give her a co writer credit, and we signed a letter where they promised me the same.

What is his issue with her getting a co-writer credit when both him and Hansal have acknowledged her contributions. She doesn't need to self-aggrandize when there are quotes from both director and writer that substantiate her contributions. And why is he "reserving details" for the future. To get more media coverage and milk the whole situation for publicity?

^ Well,Kangana clearly says in her live video that Hansal Mehta came to her with a 'one liner' and both of them developed it together.She doesn't mention the writer's name at all so obviously any writer of a film will be pissed off if a big star suddenly turns your script into a mere 'one liner'.The whole issue has been going on much before the poster came into picture. If the credit placement in the poster was the only issue here, the writer wouldn't have done the mumbai mirror interview before the poster launch.

and the reason behind people's displeasure of the credit placement on twitter is because such things keep on happening in the industry every single time. Writers are anyways treated the worst in Bollywood and then credits are stolen.Routine stuff. I'm glad Apurva had the guts to call out on Kangana and especially Hansal.

It was a one-liner script by Apurva, he said that himself in this long account. In the context of her IV, Kangana is talking about her coming together with Hansal and how several projects had not lined up till this where they developed together. She didn't says they solely created the script together or that Apurva had no contribution. In fact, she did she even mention Apurva, and perhaps that was his issue lol.

And so yeah I get that he may have been irked that he isn't mentioned in her description but she's talking of HER experience which was predominantly with Hansal. Yeah what you are saying about writers is true, but no credit was stolen from anybody. Apurva has major contributions to the project and he got full credit for what he has done but then Kangana and Hansal have also in their own domain. Apurva got credit for screenplay, story, and dialogue and Kangana got an additional credit. Sounds fair to me.

Changing a dark, crime thriller to a comedy is more than a "tweak" and if she had done that then she should be given credit for story writing. And that is what she is claiming to have done.

Kangana to Mid-day - "When Hansal (Mehta, director) came to me with the script of 'Simran', I was intrigued. It was essentially a dark, gritty crime thriller. Together we sat down and tweaked the script to make it a slice-of-life comedy. It is gracious of them (Hansal and Co.) to credit me as a writer for the film."

Apurva has clearly said it was NEVER a dark, gritty crime thriller. This is very simple. Either he is lying or she is. Odds are it's her given her skill at it.

Apurva has praised her for fleshing out her character and that's gracious of him. Bollywood would be a far better place if all actors considered it part of their job to embody the character and did so without seeking additional praise. Still he was happy for her to receive credit for dialogues which he felt she earned.

In his words, to Mumbai Mirror - "About the additional dialogue credit, Kangana totally deserves it.She improvised on many of the dialogues and did a remarkable job."

He is not happy with her for trying to take credit for a story he worked over a year on. Additional story is a made up credit because Hansal Mehta knows she did not write the story.

I think yiu have missed all the kangana intvs where She is claiming that she was approached with one line and she developed the rest of story and how she changed it from a dark gritty trailer from

It's not comparing apples to oranges, it's calling a spade a spade.
Even in the poster her name for additional dialogue appears before than the actual writer, that too in bigger font. This is another level of petty.
