I think people don't understand what a film family kid or star kid means lol. Ranveer isn't even a cousin from Anil's side but her mother's side.
He is a rich kid and comes from an "elite" family. So yes must have gone to these elite parties where the BW goes but I highly doubt anyone would give him a role because of he Anil Kapoor's wife's cousin.
