Well, it's well established now.. that Majid rejected DP. We have had enough articles about it.

If he is looking for Indian actress, why limit his search to Bollywood actresses. He can find much better actresses with no fuss in other regional industry.

Radhika Apte is the woman to go to. She's an excellent actor + is beautiful. She'll understand the nuances of the craft. DP is hardly an actor even despite all her critically acclaimed performances. He requires a Radhika/Kalki/Tabu to make this work.
