Yes! I also can't get over that This is why I think Adi is not asking her to love him. It's her who is stuck.

yup he is not forcing her at all infact after aashim re-entry he distance from neha...its just that he can't control the pain of his heart...he pour out his feelings in drunken state which is actually meaningful and even neha knows he is drunk and lashing out becos of his pain in his heart due to her...

whatever he says its true..he never told her to fall in love with him...she did becos love happens and not decided...she had the choice for herself to stop her heart but she didn't...she fell in love with him and is stuck now...he knows how much she loves amar...she could easily unite with amar if she didn't complicate her mind and heart by falling for him too...

I guess the kiss in the lake triggers all...😆

If this is another version of Tum Bin then it makes all the sense that the girl ends up with Shekhar.

I am (quite obviously) an Aashim Gulati fan (my sig gives me away) but it makes sense to me that she ends up with Shekhar in the end (good thing that I find Aditya pretty great after seeing him for the first time).

@Bold ...not necessary unless you have broken up on mutual terms but in this case your first love is presumed dead, so you could still be more deeply in love with him but decide to compromise or settle down with the new person as an act of moving on. Have you truly moved on in your heart...now that can vary from person to person.

First love may not be the only love, but most often it is the strongest and most difficult kind of love to forget.

In the real world that is not how it works with "first loves." I agree that it's likely the most difficult to forget but that's not because it was the strongest love. It's simply because it was your first time experiencing something and any kind of first experience is memorable. Most first loves are at a young age and generally people are not mature enough at that point hence why it may be difficult to get over a first love. In adolescence experiences tend to stand out more. A person has a lot of memories of "firsts" they had with their first love. You experience so many firsts that this relationship in some ways defines you as the person you come to be. You learn so much.

In regards to this movie. It does not appear as if Taran is settling down with the second guy. She obviously loves him which is why I feel that Shekhar is endgame. I agree with your point about the death of an individual and with this person returning it makes things very complicated. Taran is lucky because has the chance to get closure and maybe figure out whether her first love really was her forever love or not.

Yeah I think so as well. I think he is distancing himself from her. I almost feel like in the part where she asks him if he is going to tell her who to love or Amar Aditya is trying to push her towards Amar. Before the Ishq mubarak video Aditya asks her "khushi mili na?" So I think a guy who really cares so much about a girl's happiness, becomes her shoulder to cry on would not force his love on her. He would know how much she loves Amar, and he does know.

In this song I love the part where she is dancing with both of the guys. I love her moment with both of them. I think there are many ways to interpret the moment the three of them share. I don't know when this will take place, before or after Amar's reappearance (which I am assuming something happens where he disappears and then reappears).

Here I feel as if she is having a blast with Ashim and then she feels Aditya's presence. From then on she seems completely distracted by him. Even when she is dancing with both the guys there is this beautiful tension between her and Aditya. After that when she looks at Ashim she looks a bit guilty to me. Like especially the end right before the scene starts to fade. Again I could be totally wrong...I probably am wrong because everything depends on when this scene takes place. 😆

Still a beautiful scene of all 3 of them 😊

I am amazed how a movie which I dissed initially saying how can they re-create a masterpiece is actually keeping me and many others hooked like this 😆 But in all honesty everyone saying Neha Sharma or either of two guys are bland etc, please people I think they are farrr better than than the crap we are served in the name of starkids. I heard probably Sooraj Pancholi was to be casted here 🤢 I am glad that didnt happen.
These three have really brought out the intensity in the film...even being a new age romance you can still feel the intensity. I am so glad almost after ages we have a real romantic movie which is neither an erotica nor a "let get drunk over it' kinda love.

Completely agree with you in fact all 3 are fine actors and better than many in BW. Im thankful that after a long time we get to see such kind of movie otherwise now days we get to see erotic drama or what not in the name of romance.
