Let's be honest. If Jiah was depressed, then her mother should have been the first person to help her out. Rabia is blaming Sooraj for everything. Yes, he is a douche. He treated Jiah very wrong. But then if Jiah became so dependant on a guy who she met only just a few months ago, then she was probably lacking a strong support system in her own family. Jiah was sad and depressed, she needed her mother and her boyfriend to help her out. Now, boyfriend is a person who may or may not want to be with her long term. That is a normal relationship stuff. If he isn't in love with her, he is allowed to move on. But then he is supposed to do that in a dignified, respectful way. From what I've read in the reports, he didn't really treat her well. So, that was wrong. If you don't want to be with someone, be clear about it instead of leading on that person and then treating them bad. At the same time, Rabia didn't really do much good. Rabia can blame Sooraj as much as she wants (because he does seems like an asshole) but then she cannot totally let herself escape from the fact that fixing her daughter's mess was in certain way a mother's responsibility more than a stranger's. Zarina should also try to have a heart and admit that her son could have helped Jiah out but he did not. Instead he brought her down even more. He should have atleast not done that. She was already depressed and then his emotional abuse broke her. Both Sooraj and Rabia are to be blamed. But more than anything else, I think Jiah should have taken time out to fix her own issues like a grown up instead of continuing in a relationship where she was not treated well. When you are f**ked up, you need to fix yourself instead of expecting the world to do that for you. Committing suicide was not the solution but I guess she was too weak and messed up to understand that. Some love and support might have helped but I guess both Rabia and Sooraj let her down because of their own personal convenience. Jiah was just weak and got unlucky as well. I hate Sooraj for being the douche but I believe Rabia is at fault for more than Sooraj. Rabia was with Jiah all of 24-25 years of her life and Sooraj for only a few months. Rabia could have helped Jiah much before Sooraj even came into her life because Jiah was already depressed.

Zarina sounds so shrewish and petty...talking abt Rabia's botox when much more serious issues are at hand! Shes like those mothers who will defend desperately even when their son is a known criminal.

I used to think that Aditya is reponsible for what Sooraj has become. But now I think its Zarina who is responsible.

Another thing is they have a point...I dont get how Sooraj removed Jiah's fetus. Maybe these gory stuff is being purposely put so that he is found 'not guilty' and let off after sometime like his mentor. If they put a lesser charge of abetment if suicide he could be convicted.

Well it is a bit impossible to remove a foetus with your bare hands. Also depending on how far she was in her pregnancy. If it was less then 12 weeks, she could have miscarried at home with help of medications. But if she was further along, theres no way to do it without getting a D&C done. Either way, don't think Sooraj can remove the foetus on his own though.
