Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan to play Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi?

If all goes well, we might soon get to see Bollywood heartthrobs Ranbir Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, playing the characters of Kishore Kumar and Mohammed Rafi. A DNA report states that Imtiaz Ali's brother, Arif Ali, is planning to make a film on the two legendary male singers and is considering Ranbir and Varun as the leads of his film. A source in the report has been quoted as saying that the film will reveal a tale of innocence set in a self-consumed, conniving environment.


Arif has been quoted in the report as saying that he was struck by the simplicity of the concept. The project is expected to go on floors next year.
