IKR, These wannabes took something as simple as fighting for women rights to making the cause about men vs women.

That's just plain disrespectful. You can't complain about assault, discrimination, or anything of the ilk whilst attempting to homogenize a group yourself.

If you want to be taken seriously on issues pertaining to sexual assault you need to take some time to educate yourself first. It's a serious issue, an uneducated fool has no business talking about it on a national platform.
