Why should he be ?? His dad is a huge star and he must get some perks of that 😆😆😆 Why would he put in all the hard work to be a an actor when his dad is and hes riding the coat tails 😉

Junaid is academically inclined. He is among toppers at school and college. If he doesn't want to act then his choice!

There was rumour of him taking interest in direction though.

Every actor's son need not want to be a hero.

Coz he is not dedh footiya like his dad, to be qualified as a bollywood hero.

Because Junaid is smart like his dad and doesn't wants to be Tiger Shroff or a La Abhishek Bachhan

I really think his interests are more at behind the camera work. During an interview with Fridoon Shahryar where Aamir and his daughter Ira were promoting her charity football game he said Junaid was more interested in behind the scenes work. Fridoon asked Ira and she said if (and she really emphasized the word IF) she decides on a career in the film industry it will be behind the camera as well. It even surprised Aamir. If his son is anything like his daughter than he's probably pretty soft spoken and kind of shy as well. Ira seemed very down to earth at the interview and during the actual match. Neither kid come across as "Aamir Khan is my dad" kind of brats from what little I have seem of them, which admittedly is nothing lol.
