everybody has obsession with fair skin no one likes dark in our society i have the obsession too and there is nothing wrong in it😃

On the one hand, this flyer is against skin color discrimination but then turns around and implies that if someone is fair, they're not beautiful. Jai Ho to India and its contradictory social awareness tactics.😆

Well it depends how you understood the message, because it clearly says...

"Look anywhere and everywhere, there are blatant and subtle reinforcements that only fair is beautiful"

The flyer says that NOT only fair is beautiful, dark is beautiful too

And what would you expect from those kids if the society is so obsessed with fairness.

Promoting everything about beautiful, being good thanks to fairness and everything being bad, ugly is because you are dark.

I agree white is beautiful n black is ugly.. was the mantra i grew up with. I m on the fairer side.. I was praised for my fair skin for all my life in India.. and i also thot girls r only beautiful if they r fair skinned.

Migrated to NZ, and slowly but surely i realized how wrong I was.. This goris take sunbath (naked, nice view 😉) to get their body tanned. I saw goras/goris up close and ammm, not impressed. And my defniition of beauty changed over the time. Its not all abt white or black or brown, Its just some ppl r so damn attractive than others.

Therez a stpd joke i will share with u.. "God tried to make humans but cudnt figure out what color they shud have.. so he fried a roti.. it was burnt and black.. so he thew it to Africa... then he tried another it was so kachchi, so white not cocked, he thre it to western world, finally He got right.. a perfect borwn roti, he there to India. " 😆 I know its lame thats why i think its funny 😆

Anyways, balck or white, doesnt matter to me. But if its fat or slim and sexy matters. 😆

I have completed my PG, going for Phd in future after some experience and people (relatives and society all) Started doing research why am I not ready to settle or why 'rishtas' are not coming? And started giving me various fairness techniques since I am dark so that rishtas start coming! What the hell...what if I want to focus on career?

I came to know all this BS and I am shocked!
