On a serious note, its hell difficult to imagine a different cast, the original's so INGRAINED in the mind, every detail.
Still, Kodoli should be played by Deepika. (OSO flash)

Hmmm I am fine with DP,OSO character+ a bit of naykamo [ maybe lots :P] would be nice...

and Exactly...the original was brilliant, and i really cant imagine anyone but them. And the setting was so bengali, I wonder what they are going to do with that...

Actually, talking of nyakamo, Kareena would fit the bill better. 😆
Yeah, they're gonna have to change the context to an all-Indian one. For e.g., change Biplab to a Freedom fighter, the Bangal to a Sindhi.
