As reported earlier, Sahara One's 'Bitto' which was under the channel's scanner for not fetching encouraging ratings as a result of which the budgets were slashed is once more in the news. As suggested by TellyChakkar lead Pallavi Gupta is replaced and so is a majority of the cast.
It is also heard that the show will be completely revamped. Pallavi alongwith the other cast will no more be a part of the show.
Our source informs, "Some time back monetary issues between the lead and the production house had been discussed which unfortunately did not end on a good note. It was also reviewed that Pallavi did not appeal as the lead of the show which was the concern of the production house and channel soon after the show's launch. Since then the hunt for another face was on but things didn't work out at that time. Now finally the whole show is being re-designed which will come into effect the day after tomorrow which is the day of their last shoot."
It is tipped that Anjum Farooqui who was finalized as lead for Sony's Vrat kathayein which is now delayed may be replacing Pallavi. Confirming the changes that are happening Pallavi says, "There were some issues between the production house and me which didn't work out, so we mutually decided to part ways. Technically I am not being replaced. It's just that the story demands my exit as the show will be totally revamped. I am very attached to my whole unit and will miss them a lot."
