I think Kamya was simply being practical and playing it safe and she didn't want to take the chance of getting into the wrong side of powerful ppl.
Also she is smart and must have realized that Gauahar gained a lot by the way she played her game and conducted herself in d BBH nd she (Kamya) ended up with noting so it's human nature to feel resentment, especially for someone like Kamya.😳
I think the second reason seems more logical. Considering the equation she had with Gauhar in the beginning.
They truly say "First impressions are last impressions"...

I was just watching a few beginning episodes of Bigg Boss that I had missed and now in retrospect it seems quite telling how the housemates (especially the female ones, who were more of the game changers) behaved with one another.
Shilpa and Kamya nd coz of Kamya by default Prats, were most interested in forming grps and dey did their best in inciting housemates. Tani amazingly frm d beginning had most issues with Gauahar and tended to highlight even d smallest of Gauhar's fault. Gauahar was on her own tangent nd was mostly shooting her mouth off, but at the same time taking stands and being fair so ppl were already perceiving her as a major threat.😆
When Gauahr was captain for the 1st time, Kamya, Prats, Shilpa were all supporting her and were against Tani and as Shlpa, Kamya and Prats were discussing, dey were pissed at Tani coz she had ended up antagonizing all of dem by talking bad abt all. Ah if only Salman hadn't interfered the scenario would have been quite different.😳

She gave many conflicting remarks outside the house.- On the eviction day/Sat she said Armaan had a good heart and Gauhar was bad for Kushal.- After a few days, she sounded negative about Armaan :- On the finale day she is very supportive of Tanisha.Pratyusha has been pretty much the same. Their true personalities came out. They are flip floppers. I respect Andy and Tanisha more than these 2 for being on one side instead of oscillating.
