This post is to praise actors or bring comparison issues bewtween actors..??? I think the forum is for discussing characters and not any sort of comparison bewtween actors ..
As far as comparison bewtween actors is concerned every actor has its own importance and they are doing full justice to the character whether it is dadisa , bharon , jagya, sumitra, shiv, anandi and even newly introduced family..
Siddharth is just 79 episode old to balika vadhu first let the creatives show his character various shades and ask him to emote then you can say he is not upto mark.. Creatives team brought him as new man in Anandi life who is from army background with highly ethical values, down to earth who just concentrate on work.. See his transformation from a strict collector to lovestruck guy..how can you forget his silent support to anandi during bhagos death..the episode where both saves bal vivah his anger in eyes was trully appreciatable ..i personally feel and emphasis emoting silently is far more difficult as compared to shouting..
Prityusha is a superb actress at a age of 21 she acts far far much better than any actress on TV..
Every actor has a growth and its very much depend on the story, script and the directors..
So just enjoy the show because show is not because of any one actor but all contributes for its success and make entertaining for us..
Cheers to Balika vadhu team..๐Ÿ‘

First of all let me put my one piece of correct information here Jagaya is not a negative character ๐Ÿ˜†please those who are calling him a negative character from which angle you think he is a negative character ,..this character carries many shades but cvs have never ever potrayed him as a villain so calling him negative character is wrong ...negative character or villian is Heth singh and from which angle Jagaya and Heth are comparable ๐Ÿ˜†

coming to topic ..i agree must say Shashank totally stole show from other actors from the day Bade papa told Jagaya the truth from then on to this complete week he has given very powerful performances ...his emotions his, body language ,his dialogue delivery awesome โญ๏ธand so realistic you have to say at one point this guy is not acting but really going through all this๐Ÿ˜† ...awesome ..and this week he has been also been carrying episodes alone ..his most scenes were alone ..and you have to say he proved he can give such fantastic performances without any supporting cast around him and he can keep viewers hooked on to show now thats called a brilliant actor ..in this one show ( his very first show )his character has taken so many shades and he has done justice to all...and he has excelled a lot if you see when he was first introduced in this show he was a lot nervous ๐Ÿ˜†and his nervousness was clearly visible from his acting but with passage time he really excelled a lot and must say he is the best among all the lovely dovely boys in TV industry around his age the ones who gain acclaim from showing off their looks more than acting but this boy he is not only very cute but also a fantastic actor ...hope cvs utilize his acting skills more and more in future ...but please in redemption of Jagaya which has to begin now at every cost ๐Ÿ˜†

surekha jee what to say ..she is a legend and love her acting โญ๏ธ

coming to issue of Sid being raised ..well i won't comment on him right now because truely speaking this is the first time i am seeing him acting๐Ÿ˜† ..i knew him before but never seen his any show and right now Shiv's character is not unfolded much here lets wait and see what he has to offer us in future ..but right now won't compare him with anyone

Mahi - Jagya is the Antagonist now though deffo not villain. Gray is his colorshade. I hope they keep him that way for now. We agree that he will eventually be redeemed. I think where you and I disagree is whether it will be now or later (I am thinking later).

This grey zone is needed like you said for the redemption cards. Cvs never made him too much of a bad guy and when he does become a jerk @$$, they turn around and make him do something good.

It is nice that a character is never really a particular shade. My fav TV grey character of all time was Mr Walia and Ram Kapoor is fab actor (this is all before kekta ruined it) ๐Ÿ˜†

Mahi - agree J oscillates btwn Antagonist and Protagonist... for now he's Antagonist...though by no measure a full villain

villains are like heth singh dear ...J never became a villian like heth ..even now he is not like him ...i don't know what cvs are cooking for future but he don't have that villianious streaks and villians don't behave like what is doing now .๐Ÿ˜†.i won;t say he is a perfect hero no ..he carries some shades some dark ones too but many good ones which save him from calling him an antagonist but we can call him strayed hero ๐Ÿ˜†and if he is antagonist now who is male protagonist? shiv ...ok don't hit me with shoes but shiv can hardly be called parallel lead he don't have that character which can exist even without being new husband of Anandi otherwise his role will diminish...so he cannot be termed as protagonist in real sense

Mahi - we will have to agree to disagree.

For me a Protagonist is a key figure not necessarily the only one nor does s/he have to have exist without connected to others. Their role just has to be substantial. Here the Protagonist are Anandi (always) and Shiv her new sidekick. He's not a lead, but a parallel lead.

Jugiya for a longtime has been a major adversarial force against the Protagonist (Anandi). A resistance she has had to battle on a psychological emotional level to succeed. That does not diminish his import to the story for me nor does it mean he's not the male lead. He is a shape-shifting characterization. In that he transitioned from Protagonist to Antagonist and can transition back.

Hero and Villain are two very rigid definitions...rather black and white or white and black! But, Protagonist and Antagonist are broader definitions/terms that allows for greater flexibility and range of characterization. Protagonist need not all b pure white and an Antagonist maybe Gray not black.

In this story J remains gray. A resistance A the protagonist must still overcome on a psychological level to fall in love with Shiv. As a pseudo rival for A's affections, he's also an obstacle to S if he sticks around.

Anyway...all definitions aside...our perspective on J is very similar. He's lead who oscillates that someday must get redeemed though he won't ever get the girl again...unless its G.
