Brilliant post Anjy.👍🏼 Shashank was at his best the whole week. And you know the best part about his acting is that despite of Jagya being a grey character he adds that pinches of positivity in the character so amazingly that sometimes you indeed feel bad for him.His tears do move you and make you feel he should redeem rather than turning a darker shade of grey. And thats really commendable from Shank's side bcoz he maintains that vacillating nature of Jagya perfectly.
And surekha jee what should I say she is a rockstar. When this show started I hated her like anyhting...but now she plays one SOO adorable character and that too with such expertise that you cant help but fall in love with her.I loved her the most in last night's episode...the scene when she touches jagya's shoes and gets all teary. She was fab in that one.
As for prats she is always pitch perfect. This week was her chance to look good rather than act and she did that beautifully.😳
And Sid to u know na😆...He has surely improved a lot. There wasnt a single epi i cud say his expressions were not apt.Like this new guy mahi he was over acting in some parts but was fine in others. But Sid has always been balanced from the first scene till date.He underplays beautifully but I am really luking forward to his acting in strong emotional moments. Indeed I have high expectations from him in the future scenes that will surely require some powerful acting from his side.

Brilliant, my dear! I couldn't decide whether I hated Jag or loved him. SV evokes all kinds of emotions in me. And to boot, he's utterly attractive to me. His looks remind me of my ex (except SV taller).
SS, the tremble in her voice when she figured out those were Jag's shoes, the inner fight between her love and anger, her romace with Dadu, her expressions when she was fighting through the crowd to get to Jag... all were superb👏
I am in love with this serial all over again... every day they give me some reason to tune in...
And you are right, Prats eyes do speak volumes. I wish they would allow her character to smile more because she has a unique beauty that catches the eye, kind of like Rekha's did for me.
Sid... our handsome Sid, I sure hope I get to see you flex those acting skills soon. I miss seeing you act. Are you listening Cvs???

Shashank literally grew up in BV as an actor. I think working with seasoned actors like surekha sikri, anup has made him better actor. He has improved in leaps and bounds from his earlier just shifty-eyed expressions😆.

Praising surekha sikri's acting is just so reduntant. She is always amazing. I too liked the scene where she recognizes the shoes as jagya's and touches it as if feeling her lost grandson. It was really sad. Whatever jagya did, we can't expect her to hate her only grand son. Even if a mother punishes is his son for a mistake, she can never hate him.

Shiv ko kuch karne ke liye nahi hai except being good guy and giving loving looks to anandi😆. But till now he has done his scenes well. But Aise dramatic scenes ke saamne shiv ka scene pheeka pad jaatha hai. Hope he gets to show more range of emotions as well.

BV is a bundle of talent. What is most surprising is that even the newer lot of actors are moulded so so well that they excel in their skills and have become very crafty in their acting skills.

Surekha sikri - What can I say about someone who has been there, seen all and done it all. She is superb in every role she does in BV. Even when she was the strict punishing dadisa to younger Anandi, one could never really hate her. We blamed her attitude on her tough upbringing and the life lessons she had to undergo.

She excels in Comedy and has impeccable comic timing. Her eyes well up and her tears are restrained when she touches her ex laadesar's shoes and we end up crying. Her subtle flirting, her pride which shines in her eyes when she sees and affirms that her decisions are correct - She conveys things with a look.

Respect, Dadisa, Just respect.

Anup - What a fantastic actor. The hatred for Jagya, the look of lost love when he looks at Jagya in the court, his love spills out for Sumitra even when he is on phone with her, His concern and care for Anandi and his righteous anger...every emotion conveyed to the T.

Hats off Bhairon.

Smita - WOW. Another bundle of talent. I like her the most in BV. very understated elegance.

Neha Marda - Who can forget the fiery Gehna who withstood marital rape, forced pregnancy and then the mature firecracker who falls in love with her husband and sticks to him through thick and thin. She has got some of the best dialogues in the show and she executed them flawlessly. When I think of best tele scenes, her screaming at Jagya saying HE DOES NOT DESERVE HER still rings in my ears.

Satyajit Sharma - A wonderful kadak actor who slips into any of his grey shades comfortably. His comic timing off late has been spot on.

Finally...

Shashank Vyas - FIND OF THE DECADE. He is the find of the decade in the TV industry in the last decade. I have hated many tv negative characters, but I have never appreciated them off screen. This guy has made me eat my words. He personifies Jagya. What else can I say?

You rock dude. Go places.

Prathyusha - When she first came in, I remember her being very raw and her dialogue delivery was bland. I used to think she could never match upto Avika. She proved me wrong and how!

This girl has grown so much that we could actually see the bubbly bright spirited extroverted Anandi now has been hidden somewhere deep under those sad eyes and wounded heart. Her eyes can speak volumes and that smile can really light up a room.

Siddharth Shukla - I did not like him when I saw his pics. I do not like beefy men because I think thats all they can do. Just look beefy. Siddharth was different and BV team proved again why they are the best. He is very convincing as the kadak kadak collector and the love struck sensitive Shiv. Being with the BV team has really helped him hone his acting skills and am sure we can expect great stuff from him. He is definitely someone to look out for. And yes...That VOICE. that VOICE...just melts me.

There are somethings you cant teach. I have an actor in my family and he is pretty good as accepted by many film goers. He says that there are some nuances you cannot teach...it is either there or not. In the sagai, when Shiv slips the ring in A's finger, he holds her hand, caresses her finger for a split second before slipping the ring. Who would have taught him to do that? These small things will make him go places. Kudos Shukla saab.

My husband used to tell me that I can drool, swoon and go weak in my knees when Michael Douglas speaks. I told him yday to add Mr.Shukla to that list.

These were the main cast. How about the supporting? Every small character and supporting cast has also been strong.

Avika and Avinash are awesome. We all know that.

Vibha Anand and Vikram Massey did their jobs sooo very well that I still think Vikram's portrayal was finest in BV during his sugna shyam days. His voice modulation, change in looks were all so believable.

Chaitanya Abib, Bhairavi Raichura are perfect.

Heck..Even Makhan kaka is the best.

BV has taken casting to a different level and I hope they maintain their standards by not involving in unnecessary gimmicks and spoiling the show a la Ekta.

Kudos to both actors, they are amazing in their respective roles especilly Surekha, I mean I think she is Dadisa sometimes 😆 and Shashank has made most of us hate Jughead to the core while giving him all sorts of names, so he has done a good job in bringing out all the names and curses we bestow upon Jagdish.

At first I thought Siddhart wasn't that good of actor but he has improved very much. Now the character is almost natural but coz he looks so good, so we can overlook that lacking part 🤣

Gals n the odd guy!

Since people keep raising, Sid. Guess I will comment. I have watched excerpts of all of Sid Shukla's previous serials particularly JYPSA. He was OKAY always. But, he has improved leaps and bounds since joining BV. So, far he's portrayed the emotions written for him very convincingly. We see Collectorsaab's love for Anandi in his body language, eyes, and voice not just his dopey smile. He managed to carry of that awful cartoony banana sherwani with elaan. Given how far he's improved I look forward to power packed performances from him when its written in the future. Be it confounding emotions btwn him and his Sarpanchni or confrontations between him and the Lost Prince of Jaitsar.

Also, I didn't mention the rest of the cast. It goes without saying they are SOLID Performers - each and everyone.

Smita Bansal is to be commended for her performance at this late stage of her pregnancy. That's commitment to character. This week we smiled with her, wished well for Anandi with her, and cried for Jugya's phooti kismat by her.
