he commanded. I acted what he said. Good thing he didn't hurt me. I will buy that a book abt monster later. It can help me. I won't let him hurt me or anything...now i m sure he killed sunita aunty...

I walked to my locker. I can't believe that monster is in my school. If he tries to hurt anyone I know, I won't hesitate to kill him myself. I opened my locker and got my books out. I decided to go to my next class early

Priya's POV

Class ended quickly. I didn't see rajat or neha during dismissal..I place all my books into my locker. I pulled my car keys out as I exited the college...

I saw that boy with his group or something across the parking lot next to a black range rover.

I rolled my eyes as I going towards my car. Suddenly a car with no control was headed to me. I can only stay frozen in place, waiting for the Impact.

Just then, the boy was next to me and he pushed the van away with ease. There is even a dent from where his hand collided.

His eyes found mine and they were so captivating.

He suddenly let me go and he hopped away. I only sat there in shock as people crowded me asking me if I am ok. I stood up and walked away, still dazed.

What just happened?

Rajat suddenly was next to me, and he seem really, really concerned. "Are you alright? Are you hurt?''

He engulfed me into a hug which I gladly returned. "I'm fine, Rajat. Just please don't tell to papa. I don't want him to worry.''

He nodded as we pulled away. His blue eyes sparkled as he smiled. "I'll see you tomorrow.''

I nodded. "I'll see you tomorrow.''

I got in my car and started the engine. I drove away as if nothing happened. I actually felt grateful towards him. He saved my life.may be He was a murderer I know, but he can be a hero.

I drove to the bookstore.

I parked my car just some distance away. I pushed the door open. I began to search for the book. It was still there so I bought it. I paid the cashier and she studied me carefully.

"They're everywhere. They kill humans at night. Protect yourself." she warned

kya sach main ??? I asked as I got out of the bookstore.

Three men where encircling my car. I took a deep breath as I marched towards my car. The three men encircled me. I got scared.

"What are you doing alone here jaaneman?" the first guy said.

I tried to push past them but they blocked me.

"kaha ja rahi ho sweety." the second guy said.

I took a step backward. I am scared. They smirked as they took a step closer to me. I closed my eyes because of fear.

Just then, I saw a boy standing in front of me. He growled at them, making them run away. I sighed. Then I recognized the boy. The boy from my college. His eyes met mine then he turned away walking in the different direction.

"Wait!" I screamed after him. He stopped in his tracks and tilted his head to me.

I took a deep breath before speaking. "Thank you. For saving me twice now."

"We can't be friends. I'm dangerous."

he told me before he disappeared. I sighed. Maybe he isn't a monster after all. I walked to my car, that book clasped around my hands.

I finally pulled over on my house. I turned the car off and got out. The sky is almost darkening. I unlocked the front door. Papa is still not home from work. I went up to my room and locked the door. I opened the vampire book. I need Info about them. I starting flipping the pages.

The front cover has a picture of a male with red eyes and sharp canines, fangs. There were blood on his lips and chin, yet his handsome features were still visible.

I suddenly remembered that boy. He was beyond perfect as all vampires are. His skin was pale and cold, but his lips were reddish, and plump. He has smooth chocolate brown curly hair and emerald green eyes that glows in the dark. He was always quiet, but when he speaks with that deep, husky voice of his, he would make you melt. In short, he was PERFECTION.

Now i undrstand he is a " Vampire.."

Maybe, that's what vampires are. They use their alluring beauty to lure humans into their trap. But the boy didn't need that. He has hypnotizing powers but lucky me, I'm immune.

I should start reading the book. So I did.

Vampires

Vampires are supernatural creatures who feed on the life source of the living, in the form of blood. They are pale and cold, due to the lack of blood in their veins. They are immortal and they never age once turned.

They are exceptionally strong and fast, and their eyes glow in the dark. They grow fangs and their eyes turn jet black when they are angry, threatened or thirsty. Newborn vampires are stronger at their first year of being a vampire. Their eyes are bright red and they usually had no control over their thirst.

After minutes of reading, a knock came on my door.

"Priya tu aa gayi beta?"

papa asked. I closed the book.

Yes papa.I replied.

"accha jaldi aaja niche." he informed.

"Okay papa aayi 2 minute." I kept the vampire book and went to my closet. I changedand went downstairs.

I sat on the table. Wow vegetable salad and aloo mutter for dinner today. Yum. I began digging my food quietly as papa stared at the ceiling.

"Papa what's wrong?" I asked him. His eyes darted to me.

"Three men were found dead just a while ago, again, drained of blood near same bookstore."

I almost choked. They were the guys who the boy saved me from.

He killed them. Drained their blood. I feel scared of him again. But why would he save me? There must be a reason.

"priya are you ok?" papa's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Yes papa. Just thinking." he nodded. I finished my food quickly. I set my plate on the sink.

"papa can I go to my room now? I still need to finish college work."

"Ok beta. Good night." I walked over to him and gave him hug...

"Good night too papa." he smiled. I began to climb out of the stairs. Should I tell dad that I almost died If It wasn't for that boy? naah I might get him worried. I went inside my room and locked the door.

Suddenly, I feel sleepy. I turned off the lights and pulled the blankets closer over my body. I swear I can feel someone watching me.

When I opened my eyes, I was in a forest. I looked down at my reflection in the clear water. I look extra pale and my lips were reddish like the vampire boy. My hair was a bit lighter, and my eyes were glowing red. I stepped back. I can't be a vampire.

I looked at my reflection and this time, what I saw really frightened me. A gigantic wolf with dark brown fur was there staring back at me. I stepped back, and so is the reflection...

I woke up, sweating. I was breathing heavily, my chest rising up and down. I didn't know what do, I just feel so relieved that it was just a dream.

I saw a tall figure in my room that quickly vanished once my eyes landed on it.

Ram's P.O.V.( i know aap sab ram ka hi wait kar rahe the lol )

I ran Vampire speed to our house located at the out of town when I made sure that Priya is asleep.

I stalk her always, and I guess it did pay off great because I always save her life. I don't know why I do that, but ever since I landed my eyes on her that night, I can't get her out of my head. It feels like we have an unexplainable connection that is impossible since vampires only look at humans as walking blood bags.

As I neared the house, I heard my family's silent murmurs on the living room. What are they talking about? I quickened my pace as I ascended the stairs only to be shocked by Sid jumping from the tree in front of me.

"ohh sid.'' I told him. "You almost gave me a heart attack.''

He chuckled. "Too bad our hearts are not beating anymore.''

I rolled my eyes at his lame statement. "What are you doing here? Should you be inside discussing things with our family?''

"Nahi. I hate serious conversations.'' He reasoned. "I'd rather stay here. So are you stalking that human again?''

"Priya.'' I corrected. "She has a name.''

"Okay, okay. ab andar chale ??.'' I followed him as we ran vampire speed to the living room.

Everyone was around the living room, talking. When they sensed us, their heads all snapped to our direction.

"Oh, Ram beta. You're home.'' Krishna Ji greeted me warmly., Amarnath Ji and Krishna Ji Kapoor acted as our parents since they adopted us because they were the oldest and the ones with the most self control. They all found us and treated us like family. They were the only two "vegetarians'' in this home along with Natasha, who had never drunk human blood yet in her vampire life. She impresses me a lot, because it is very difficult to abstain from human blood. It's like a drug; once you started it, it's very hard to stop.

Rishab was the newest vampire in our family, but he has more self control than I have. I'm the only member of the family who drain humans but now i stopped Rishab, Sid and Saumya feed from hospital blood bags but they were soon learning to hunt animals. I've been trying to stop feeding on humans, but it's really hard since I got used to it, but I am lessening it. now I only drain animal blood. The whole family says nothing about it, but I know they hated my diet. We have to transfer towns because of me.

I smiled at them all warmly, while Natasha glared at me, as if she knows something. I sighed as I took a seat next to Saumya, who happily greeted me.

"Hey Ram bhai!''

I gave her a small smile as we both turned back to the conversation, Amarnath Ji clearing his throat.

Some of us in our family have supernatural abilities.

Mine is hypnotism. I can make people do things or erase a certain part of their memory just by staring into their eyes. But however, my ability only works on both humans and vampires but not on werewolves.

Natasha's ability is intimidating people and making them admit the truth, but just that. She can't make people admit things that they did not really do.

Sid' ability is making people around him happy, and no other emotions.

Amarnath Ji theorized that this might be because of his happy aura when he was still human.

Rishab's ability is making people trust him while Amarnath Ji is dream manipulation; he can control dreams and create nightmares.

Saumya's ability is having visions when she touches a human or a vampire.

Krishna Ji has no ability, but she is the fastest vampire I've ever known.

"So, as we all know,''

Amarnath Ji began. "Ram here has saved a human in front of the other humans nearly exposing our kind. I do understand that, and there must be a reason.''

They all turned their gazes on me, causing me to gulp. "Ummm... about that. I really want to apologize for my actions. I really don't know what came over me to do that. I know I've been trouble for our family this past few years but I promise, I'll change.''

"We understand you, Ram.'' Krishna Ji reassured me. "You just have to be careful next time, beta.''

I nodded and smiled at all of them.

"What about that human?'' Natasha demanded. "The human who you save. She can be a danger to us.''

"Don't touch her.'' I growled.

Natasha's eyes softened as she turned her gaze to Amarnath Ji, who was deep in thought.

"Who is this human?'' Amarnath Ji asked me.

"She was unaffected by Ram's hypnotism.'' Natasha answered "Is that possible?''

"I don't know.'' Amarnath Ji admitted. "But she might not be a threat. Just stay away from her, Ram. She would be in danger.''

"Why?'' I warily asked, even if I probably know the answer. Vampires can never be too close to humans because we can easily kill them. And I can't hurt Priya, or I would blame myself forever. But boy I was wrong.

Saumya cleared her throat before speaking. "Because Juhi has returned...''

"Because Juhi has returned..."

Juhi. The name keeps echoing in my head. Why does she have to follow us? Is this her way of taking revenge on me?

"What?'' Sid and Rishab both said in unison. Amarnath Ji nodded his head as he looked at all of us.

"It's true.'' He confirmed. "She's back.''

Murmurs erupted in the once silent living room as I took a deep breath. Juhi used to be a part of our family. She wasn't a vampire, but Amarnath Ji found her in the forest while he was hunting years ago and decided to bring her home, thinking that she can be a part of our family. When she met me, she fell in love with me quickly, and she turned a little obsessed. She won't let any human girls or vampire touch me. I never loved her back, and when I told her that, she got really angry at me and promised that she will kill the girl that I will ever love. She left the family after finding out that we are vampires, and she promised that she will hunt our whole family down and save me for last. Of course, we ignored her but later we found that she is a werewolf- and she really is capable of killing us. We heard from our cousins around the world that she has wrecked havoc in a lot of small towns; killing people there or sometimes turning them into a monster like her.

She has always followed us, and we escape her by moving from town to town, because she will only cause war and spill blood on the town we are staying at. She's very evil and her humanity was ripped off from her.

I sighed as I thought of Priya. What if Juhi goes after her and kills her? I can't let that happen.

I stood up from the sofa, all of their heads snapping to my direction.

"Ram, dear, we are you going?'' Krishna Ji asked me with her soothing motherly voice.

"I'm going out to get some fresh air and think.'' I replied. She nodded.

"Ram, be careful. Okay?'' She asked again. I nodded my head.

"I promise I will.'' Then I ran vampire speed out of the house and to the darkness of the night.
