Actor Sharad Kelkar will be seen playing a visually challenged character named Rishab in the upcoming TV show "Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai".

He blindfolds himself sometimes to understand his character in a better way.

"I've never played a blind man before and so I concentrated my energies to train myself to walk like a blind man. This show is very different from anything I've ever done before," Sharad said in a statement.
"I have been working towards perfecting myself for the show ever since I came to know I would be playing this role. I hope my hard work pays off," he added.

Star Plus' Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai is one of the channel's most awaited projects. The show marks the comeback of actors Surbhi Jyoti and Shoaib Ibrahim to the TV space in full fledged roles. Alongside Surbhi and Shoaib, actors Sharad Kelkar and Shaleen Malhotra are also a part of the show.

The show's promos have created the required buzz and curiosity levels have peaked among the audience. We also recently revealed to you guys the basic plot of the show.

And we now exclusively report the show's on-air date.

The show will go on-air from the 25th of this month. It will air on the weekends ie. Saturdays and Sundays from 9 pm to 10 pm.

Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai has the essence of romance, suspense, mystery, horror and thrill, all put in together. The plot of the show revolves around the widowed life of Geetanjali (Surbhi Jyoti).

Geetanjali is the sister of Army Officer Rishab (Sharad Kelkar) who goes blind during the course of the show. Geetanjali meets another Army Officer Abhimanyu (Shoaib Ibrahim) and both fall in love and get married.

Fate plays its cruel game and Abhimanyu gets killed. However, time and again certain instances force Geetanjali to believe otherwise. And how Geetanjali solves her husband's mysterious death, is what forms the crux of the story.

Well, the show will definitely serve as a tough competition to other shows that air in the same timeslot on other channels.
