"Haath chodiye mera." Roshni said, trying to get her hand away from Aman. She turned to look at him. He looked concerned. "Roshni, aapko bukhaar hai." He said, rather asked. Everyone around them got worried. "Roshni, beta tumhein toh bahut zyda bukhaar hai." Dadi touched Roshni's forehead. Parveen too quickly touched her forehead to confirm it. "Sara, Doctor Ko call karo please." Parveen immediately said. "Nahi Ammi, Aisa hota Rehta hai mere saath jab bhi main apni meals skip Karti hoon. It's okay. Main Ghar jaake kuch khaa lungi toh theek ho jaayega." Roshni said. The fact that she no longer considered this place her home broke his heart, but he also knew that was the best thing for her.

"Kya matlab skipped meals?" Dadi asked. "Kuch nahi Dadi." Roshni realised what she just said. "Roshni, this is not fair!" Aman said. He kind of understood it was his fault. He was feeling miserable. "Ya right! What you did was nice and fair. Aur ho bhi Kyun na? Aap toh Nawab thehre. Aur main sirf aur sirf ek naachnewali..." Roshni said, finally bursting out. "Shut up Roshni! You have no right to say anything about my wife!" Aman shouted. "Wife? Deal this na Mr. Khan?" Roshni said. Sara and Saima had already taken Chotu inside not wanting him to see all these things at such young age. "Roshni." Aman let out, softly. She didn't call him Khan Baba. Did she already part with him? "Maine kuch galat toh nahi kaha? Oh okay! I remember, Laal Chand ki Raat kareeb hai na? You would need me? Right, okay. Main toh bhool hi gayi thi. Okay, toh itni caring uss liye thi. Aise hi bol dete. Main deal puri karke jaati. Sorry, bhool gayi thi main." Roshni said with a sarcastic smile. 

"Roshni, Aisa nahi hai." Dadi said. "Aisa hi hai Dadi. Puchiye inse." Roshni said, tears welling up in her eyes. "Woh sirf tujhe bachane ka try kar Raha tha Roshni." Parveen said. She could no longer take all of it. "Ammi nahi." Aman tried to shush her. "Roshni, Aman tujhse bahut Mohabbat karta hai. Aur issi liye usne uss din itna drama diya. Taaki tu Chali jaaye aur..." Parveen couldn't finish it. "Aur meri Jaan Bach jaaye. Khan Baba nein Dadi Ko kehte Suna tha ki Laal Chaand ki raat Ko meri Jaan bhi Jaa Sakti hai unhein bachate waqt. I know." Roshni said, stunning everyone, especially Aman. "Allah knows best but itna toh Roshni also knows ki Khan Baba usse kitna pyaar karte hain. Raat bhar koi kisi ke liye Zameen pe nahi baithta." She said. That made Aman realise Roshni was awake the whole time when she came back to take her clips. "Main bas inse Sunna chahti thi." She said, finally letting the tear part from her eyes. "Roshni." Aman neared her and looked in her eyes. She was about to say something but her vision blurred and she was about to fall when Aman held her. "Roshni!" He patted her cheeks. He picked her up and took to the room while Dadi tried calling the doctor.
