Epilogue

5years later

“Arya, hurry up. Your Veer Balika will kill us if we go late.” Neil told Arya to get ready quickly as he was running after little Aayat to get her ready. “Ya genie,I know you are afraid of Veer Balika but please let me get ready in peace afterall I have to look good. ”Replied Arya as she again got busy in her makeup. “Arya di, see genie is running after me. Please hide me. I don’t want to wear that dress.” Complained Aayat as she tried to hide in Arya’s room. “First of all chhutanki, he is my genie. Only I can call him genie. You can call him papa or dada or whatever but not genie. And you know I am elder than you so you will do as I say. Now go back to him and get ready.” Arya chided Aayat. Aayat nodded in yes and went back to Neil who was standing at the room’s door. He laughed at their antics. Arya was such a bully like her Veer Balika. She enjoys bossing around Aayat and Aayat is her fan girl. Whatever Arya does she copies her. Finally he got Aayat and Arya ready and then he changed himself. They were in their Delhi house and were going to the hotel to attend award function. Mini’s nature photography collection has won the world’s best photograph of the year award in that category by national geographic. Today she was going to  receive the award and also the channel was going to interview her.

Award functions started and Mini was continuously looking back at the door from her table. “I cant believe Neil Oberoi you are late for today. I should have never trusted you and atleast brought kids earlier with me.” Muttered Mini under her breath. Soon Mini’s name was announced and she got up from the seat. She was sad her family is going to miss this moment. She looked back one last time and there came running her family. Arya was walking in attitude. Aayat was running behind her and Neil was running after Aayat to stop her. She smiled at them.They were her world. Soon all three of them came to her table and Neil mouthed sorry for coming late. Mini wanted to argue but then her name was announced one more time and she had to go. Mini went on the stage and received the award.Everyone applauded for her. “I dedicate this award to my family without them I would not have been able to come this far.” Said Mini amidst tears and came back from the stage. “Veer Balika, congrats.” Arya hugged her in excitement.Mini also hugged her back, “Thanks Chhutanki.” Aayat held Mini’s dress and extended her arms so that Mini can pick her up in her lap. “Mumma….mumma….pick me up.”As Mini picked her up she placed a kiss on her cheek and said excitedly, “Mumma you won” “Yes I won princess” replied Mini as she kissed her back. “Congrats wifey” said Neil as he came closer and kissed Mini on the other cheek. “Thanks hubby” said Mini as she blushed. “Oh come on you two. Control yourself it’s a public place. Itne saal ho gaye tumhari shaadi ko lekin ab tak tumhara romance nahi band hua. Stop embarrassing me guys.” Arya admonished them looking at their PDA. Both Mini and Neil gasped at her. “You were the one who was so desperate to get us married. Now bear with us.” Neil defended himself. “Chhutanki, kuch jyada hi nahi bolne lagi ho gayi tum aajkal” Mini also defended herself.“Whatever” Arya rolled her eyes at them making them laugh at her antics.

Next day all of them went to channel’s studio for Mini’s interview. Mini was so excited about it and more than her Arya was excited as Mini told her that they will discuss about her family for few minutes and all of them will also join her at the end for a family picture. Arya took special care to get ready. She wanted to go to beauty parlour to get ready but Mini didn’t allow her saying she is too young to go through any beauty treatment . Both of them argued over this and Neil enjoyed seeing their cute fight. He cant believe Arya is so conscious about her beauty routine and looks at this little age. He was sure she is going to pursue career in modeling. She was already their little heroine and role model for Aayat.

The channel team started the interview and asked Mini several questions on her experience, latest trends in photography and some personal questions regarding her likes and dislikes then at the last segment they asked about her family.Mini introduced her family. The interviewer asked Aayat about how does she feel her mumma won an award. In reply Aayat just blushed looking at the camera and hide her face in Mini’s lap. Then Interviewer asked Arya about it and Arya very confidently took all the credit to herself which made everyone laugh. At the end interviewer asked Neil, “So Mr. Neil Oberoi, You yourself got your second Michelin star status earlier this year and now your wife won this award. It’s a double treat for your family. How are you feeling?” “Ya, this year has been very good for us professionally. I am very proud of my wife’s achievement because its easy for us men to focus on career but women always have to balance between  family and profession and my wife did that beautifully.” Replied Neil as he held Mini’s hand. Before interviewer can ask further Mini spoke in between, “He is being modest here. He equally supports me at home. Without his encouragement and support I would have never pursued photography again let alone win any award.” said Mini as she looked at him lovingly. Interview also looked them in admiration as he praised them and their understanding.

All four of them returned their home. Mini made Arya and Aayat sleep early sighting the reason that they had to leave early tomorrow morning for Patiala. Aayat slept quietly but Arya gave her “Don’t try to fool me. I know you want to spend quality time with Neil ” look and tried to protest as she wanted to watch TV. Mini glared her in response and switched off the Tv. “Chhutanki, chupchap so jao. Aajkal bahut dadi amma banne lagi ho” said Mini as she put her to sleep. Arya gave up after Mini threatened to check her homework tomorrow.

Neil was in their bedroom standing near the window looking outside when Mini came and hugged him from back. “What are you thinking?” asked Mini. “Nothing, just remembering our first meeting” said Neil as he laughed at the memory. “Ya, it was one of a kind interview. You were so weird and rude then.” Said Mini as she rolled her eyes remembering how Neil tried to make her nervous. “Excuse me, I was not weird. You were nervous as were checking me out every now and then.”Neil defended himself. “Huh! Dream on Neil Oberoi, you were mesmerized by me. You had no effect on me.” Mini retorted back. “Oh really? No effect huh?” Neil challenged her as he pulled her towards him with a jerk. “Don’t try to be over smart with me Neil Oberoi and leave me” Mini said as she struggled to free herself.Neil pulled her more towards him and opened her hair which were tied in a bun. He put his hand in her hair and leaned on her as if to kiss her. Mini was breathless now. Neil pulled her hair a little and Mini flinched in pain. Neil started nuzzling at her neck which drove Mini crazy. She closed her eyes as she waited for him to take her lips in his. Neil traced her face with his kisses and stopped near her lips. He looked at her and smiled. She was in another world altogether. Instead of kissing her he whispered in her ears, “You know what you are right. I don’t have any effect on you. I should leave you now.” And with that he distanced himself from her. Mini came out of trance listening to him. She couldn’t believe he seduced her then left her like that. She saw him. He was standing in front of her smirking at her condition. “How dare you Neil Oberoi? I will wipe off that smirk from your face.” Said Mini angrily as she marched towards him. Neil laughed at her but Mini held his collar, “What do you think of yourself?” she asked as she pushed him towards the wall. “I guess I am over smart” replied Neil laughing continuously.

But soon his laughter turned into moans as Mini kissed him passionately while touching him intimately arousing him. Soon both of them kissing each other insanely while struggling to remove each others clothes. Mini pushed him on the bed and she came on top of him. Neil opened the bedside drawer with one hand searching for condom. He sat up irritated when he couldn’t find one. “Shit, we are out of condoms” Neil vent out his frustration. Mini was irritated by the interruption.She pushed him again and continued her sweet torture on him, “Let it be. I think we can take chance this one time” she muttered. But Neil pushed her away,“No way, I know what happened last time. I am not taking any risk now. You wait I just go to the market and will return in 10 minutes.” Said Neil as he tried to get up from the bed. But Mini stopped him, “You know what.? Since few days I was thinking that now Aayat is old enough so we should think about another child.” Said Mini as she blushed a little. “What? You want another. We already have those two brats and in no way I am going through your pregnancy tantrums again.” Said Neil remembering how she made his life hell during Aayat. “You are so mean Neil. I gave you a beautiful daughter and you cant even bear some tantrums.” Said Mini feigning anger at him as she started wearing her clothes again. “Ok, sorry baba, now don’t spoil the mood.” Neil tried to pacify her. “Ok if you say so. Mini agreed quickly giving up her pretense and pulled him on the bed again. “Wait, not so soon.” Said Neil as he picked up his phone and started video recording. “What are you doing Neil I am naked here?” Mini admonished him. “Say it again about you wanting another child” Neil asked Mini. “What? Why?” asked Mini confused. “I am just gathering proof in my self defense this time. Now if you will again accuse me of getting you pregnant I will show you this recording.” Said Neil and smiled proudly at his own smartness. Mini gaped at him and snatched his phone and threw it away. “Neil Oberoi, I will show you now how smart your wife is.” Said Mini as she laughed at him and started tickling him. Neil started laughing uncontrollably and came on top of her to stop her. He caught both of her hands and leaned down to kiss her. Soon both of them were in their own dreamland.

9 months later

Mini was shifted in her room after delivery. Neil was sitting beside her and Arya and Aayat were waiting for their younger identical twin brothers. Nurses came in the room and handed them their little bundles of joy. One to Neil and another to Mini. “I cant believe we planned for one and we got two. I mean total four now. How we are going to manage them?” asked Neil now little worried. “Don’t worry biji, dadu, naeem bi, sweety di sab log hain na….manage ho jayega.” Mini gave him assurance. “I will now buy the full stock of condoms that will be enough for a year. I am not going to take any chances with you. Pata nahi kab tumhara mood badal jaye ki ek aur bachha paida kar lete hain. I don’t want to create football team.” Neil whispered in Mini’s ear. “Shut up, Neil Oberoi. Its not my doing alone you seduced me too.” Mini whispered back. “Ye tum log kya baatein kar rahe ho? Inka toh romance hi khatam nahi hota.” Said Arya frustrated at them. All the family members laughed at her words while Mini and Neil looked down in embarrassment. “Arre ab ye sab chhodo, ye to batao ki in dono ke naam soche hain kuch.” Asked Biji. “Yes, we have decided their names.” Declared Arya as she looked at Aayat. “Yes me and Arya di will name them.” Said Aayat as she caressed her baby brothers. “They will be called Armaan and Ayushman” said Arya and everybody liked the names.

5 years later

Mini was running in the whole haveli behind Armaan and Ayushman holding their milk glasses. But they were too quick for her. Mini finally gave up and sat down tiredly. “I don’t know what to do with them. They are becoming bratty day by day”Mini complained Biji. Biji laughed at her condition. “Kya Biji help karne ki jagah aap hass rahe ho meri haalat par” Mini complaint. “why are you wasting your time after them. You know na they will only drink milk when Neil will ask them. Just call him na. what taking him so long? Abhi tak toh aa jana chahiye tha restaurant se.” said Biji and just then Neil entered from the main door.Mini looked at him and sighed in relief. “What took you so long Neil? Ab apne dono shaitano ko ye milk pilao aur sone ke liye kaho. Din bhar se pareshan kar rakha hai mujhe. Ye ghar hai ya circus. Pata hai Arya madam ke itne nakhre ho gaye hain apne aap ko kisi heroine se kam nahi samjhti and Aayat pura din Arya ki copy aur ye dono shaitan itna pareshan karte hain mujhe kabhi yaha bhagna kabhi waha kuch tod fod karna. Main kitna thak jati hoon.” Complaint Mini as she told Neil about her daily routine. “Tumhe hi chahiye the aur bachhe ab  bhugto” replied Neil as he laughed at her.Neil then called Armaan and Ayushman. Both of them came running towards him calling him dada. Neil then made them finish their milk and put them to sleep.Then both Mini and Neil checked upon Arya and Aayat. Aayat was sleeping while Arya was busy in her Instagram. Mini asked her to close it and sleep as she switched off the light of her room.

Neil and Mini came to their bedroom. Mini could see Neil is tired. She made him sit on the bed and she started massaging his shoulders. “Busy day huh?” she asked. “Yes,but not as tiring as yours” said Neil as he stopped her and made her sit with him. “When will you leave for your next photography assignment?” asked Neil. “Next week.” Replied Mini. “Hmm…. I will take some days off from the restaurant then.”Answered Neil. “Thanks for always supporting me.” Said Mini as she kissed him on his cheek. “Don’t be so formal now….after so many years of marriage if you will say thank you to me then I will think that you still don’t understand how much I love you.” Replied Neil as he hugged her. “That I understand but still…thank you for everything…for understanding me….loving me….coming into my life. Before you I was just existing. You taught me to live. I was broken, shattered…you made me complete..you cured me with your love.” Said Mini as she hugged him back. Neil smiled at her, “We both are nothing without each other. You completed me as well and gave me this wonderful family for which I always craved. I love you Mini.” said Neil. “I love you too Neil.” Said Mini and closed the distance between them as she placed a soft kiss on his lips.
