In a recent interview with Shubojit Ghosh, when Zayed was asked if he had any financial advice for aspiring actors, given the film industry's unpredictable nature. He suggested saying “If you can afford a Ferrari, buy a Mercedes; if you can afford a Mercedes, buy a Fiat.”
Zayed Khan highlighted how the rise of social media has pushed many to live beyond their means in an effort to project a certain image. While some appear to thrive, he revealed that around 80 percent of individuals in the industry are facing financial struggles. He explained that many fall into a cycle of debt, taking out loans to sustain their lifestyle, which ultimately leads to poor decisions and deeper financial troubles.
The "Main Hoon Na" star urged aspiring actors to embrace authenticity, emphasizing there's no need to wear something new every day or feel embarrassed about their background. He reminded them that difficult individuals will always exist and questioned the value of trying to impress such people. Concluding with a powerful message, he quoted the adage that while the path to success may be uncertain, attempting to please everyone is a surefire way to fail.
